While many of them are themed around Western and Native American art, there are also plenty of galleries showcasing contemporary art, particularly in the Downtown Scottsdale district.
The blend of traditional and modern also extends to entertainment and outdoor activities. Visitors and residents of Scottsdale can test their ATV riding and marksmanship skills with certified instructors or take scenic tours across the neighboring Sonoran Desert and Bradshaw Mountains.
