The population of Kingsland has experienced healthy growth, especially in the recent years. In 1910, there were only 190 people. After 50 years, there were counted more than 1,500 inhabitants. Based on the last census, in 2010, the population reached the number of almost 16,000 residents. Due to this growth, Kingsland is one of the largest communities in the county.
Education is served by two private schools, nine elementary schools, two middle schools, Camden County High School, and College of Coastal Georgia.
