The city of Hiram is situated in Paulding County, Georgia, at an elevation of 965 feet, and at 33°51’56” north latitude and 84°46’29” west longitude. Access into Hiram can be achieved using U.S. Route 278 and State Route 92. Hiram was founded in 1891 and has experienced a continuous progress. The population has made a constant growth, and at the census of 2010, Hiram was the home town for more than 3,500 residents.
Education is served by one elementary school and one high school, which are located in the city, and three middle schools situated in the proximity of Hiram. These schools are part of the Paulding County School District. Economic development and the progress of the community are supported by the Chamber of Commerce of Paudling County.
