Loxahatchee is a community located in Palm Beach County, Florida, north of Wellington and west of Royal Palm Beach. Although Loxahatchee is mostly unincorporated, a portion of the community was incorporated as the Town of Loxahatchee Groves in 2006, becoming the 38th incorporated town in the county. Loxahatchee is just 17 miles west of West Palm Beach.

The community shares its name with the nearby Loxahatchee River, which was the site of one of the bloodiest battles in the American Indian wars, known as the Battle of Loxahatchee, during the Second Seminole War. The Loxahatchee River is most closely associated with the Town of Jupiter, which is about 20 miles from the unincorporated community of Loxahatchee.
