Seated in Fort Bend County, Rosenberg is a small Texan town adjacent to Houston. Once a major shipping center in the railroad industry, Rosenberg has modernized while retaining its locomotive past. Close to Seabourne Creek Nature Park is the Rosenberg Civics Center. The entire structure covers 16,000 square feet. Social and corporate functions are held within the walls of this versatile site. The main hall, which stretches to 5,900 square feet, can be split into two smaller rooms. Additionally, the center has three breakout rooms, an impressive multi-media room, a boardroom and a catering kitchen.
Despite the town’s history, logistics is not the leading industry. Rosenberg is home to several major companies in the utilities, education and manufacturing fields. The city’s top employers include famous companies like Frito-Lay, Inc. Southern Bell Telephone is another top Rosenberg employer. The biggest employer in town, however, is Lamar CISD.
