Scott Dirkschneider, President At an early age, I knew what profession I wanted to devote my life and career to: building and designing homes. My path started in a small town in Nebraska, where I worked summers for a local homebuilder. After high school graduation, I spent the next 7 years earning college degrees in both Architecture and Construction Management. After mastering the principles of architecture and building, I couldn’t wait to move into the real world and show everyone what I knew. For more than 40 years, I’ve worked in the homebuilding industry, for some of the nation’s largest builders and for small, family-owned firms. I’ve spent the last 18 years building in the Charlotte, N.C. area. Over the years, I was able to see and experience different philosophies, processes and operation efficiencies with leading builders, which helped me develop time-tested methods. In 2014, I knew it was time to start a homebuilding company, my own company, building on the best practices and my experiences. I started Brookline Homes, LLC. Determined to make my own mark in the field, I envisioned a company that would deliver value and bring personal service to new heights and one that would embrace the importance of quality, integrity and value. Our focus on value is evident in every home we build. Our focus on architectural design, our science-based building systems and our commitment to operational efficiencies allow us to deliver the visual appeal, quality, livability and value that today’s discerning homebuyers demand.
