The team is so accommodating. Our messages were responded to by the end of the day, if we had questions they were answered. While we were living in a different state, the team was able to make everything run smoothly. We are very happy with our new home and recommend Allen Edwin if you're going to build it.

All the staff we had contact with were so pleasant and helpful. Any time of day! Even the preferred lenders were patient. Everyone is very knowledgeable and if they happened to not know something, they asked around until they got you a solid answer. You can tell they communicate well amongst each other.

Overall good experience. Very prompt to respond to questions if any were to arise.

We moved into a brand new build in Reveerewood Estates. The neighborhood is great. Quiet, clean and friendly neighbors. The craftsman ship has been ok. Our house did not include handles on cabinetry which I thought was very strange based on the price point of the home. Internet was a big hassle because our tower/hub was placed in the wrong location on the property. Builder grade materials with no upgrades like other homes in the neighborhood. The yard and landscaping were lower grade. Ended up removing the landscaping and replacing and hiring my own landscaper for lawn and grading issues. As I start noticing small issues such as missing caulk, no attic cover, loose door handles; they have been fairly quick to rectify which is nice. But still a hassle to contact, set up times for fixes and miss work because of issues. Overall experience Has been ok. If no issues of craftsmanship were a worry, would have been a great experience for me and my family. ... More

This was our first time home buying/building experience and Sorry to say, but Allen didn't do it any better. The wait for building the house was way too long. Allen even when knew that I have small kids and I told them all the plans I was thinking for my backyard, they didn't care in accommodate my thoughts and wasted all my back yard with the septic tanks, so I have a huge backyard were I can't do anything because they took it all. I also think that the way they decide to put utilities in the basement was based on economics and not in the best interest of the space. Taking me to think that engineering and planning sucks. It’s a nice house, but the workmanship could be better. The people that they send out for service are not the most qualified.

Things buyers should verify prior to buying: How many trains per day, is the landscaping included, does finishing the garage with drywall include paint, will there be permanent steps at the back door? The house didn't feel finished when it was transferred to us. We spent an additional $10k to transform the dirt lot into a lawn, which did not include any plants or trees. There is no additional funding in our budget to finish the garage with paint or pay someone to install permanent steps at the back door. If we had known these items were not included, we would have spent our budget differently on the upgrades. We went over our max budget thinking this would be our forever home. While the home is nice looking, it doesn't feel finished. We will do our best to make it comfortable for the short time we intend to stay in it. However, we anticipate a need to reduce the price when we sell it because the landscaping will need a redo on the final grading. There are large areas that are low and stay muddy, preventing the expensive grass from taking root. The street is flooded when it rains as well. There is a concern that the market price will be below the price we paid. There is also very little communication from the association. We pay the quarterly dues, however, the benefits don't seem to extend to our street. The landscape maintenance team doesn't service our yard, the street doesn't get cleaned, and the pond behind our property has stagnant water instead of fountains like the older pond has. ... More
