We love the floor plan and layout. The construction process was not what we expected. The process was frustrating to say tue least. The project was managed by absentee project managers, could not complete the home on multiple close dates, moved 4 times due to not being able to keep the home in schedule and having to re do items over and over. I understand todays issues, trade inexperience , material issues and shortages etc. however the supervision of the homes is lacking horribly at the very least, without picking on every item and every issue needs to he addressed, and not to mention ...

Building new has many challanges

This was our 5th new home so we thought we knew what to expect. Sales process was about as smooth as I expected. The home was very slow to start but we understood some of the labor and supply chain challenges. Once under construction we felt the attention to detail was definitely lacking. I'm sure some of the rework cost Beazer more than it needed to. The amount of damage created by the trades while finishing was at the highest level I have ever experienced. Repairs needed just prolonged this process and the negative feelings of Beazer not being in control of their building process. We didn't ...

Buying process wasn't hard was probably the easiest. However the building process was long and very painful. We were promised something and they didn't follow through on it. However we understand due to delays but I feel.towrads the end the whole time stuff was rushed to get the house up and stuff.

Thank you for sharing with us, Ephraim. While we try to stick to the estimated closing dates, we understand there may be times when outside circumstances come into play. I have had to call almost weekly on different items to get fixed since moving in less than a month ago and the window subcontractor is a joke. They have brought the wrong windows or broken windows twice and had to take them back. They don’t communicate very when setting up a time and when they do agree on a time they either don’t show and Adam had to call them or they come way early and we “miss” them because we expect them at the time agreed upon. The overall buying experience was great even though our house took over a year to be completed. Once we moved in, we realized the materials used and work done is horrible. It’s like the did everything in a rush and didn’t care how the final result looks like. We keep finding issues with our home such as damaged blinds, shower door leaking water, caulking in multiple places is cracking, carpet falling apart (shedding), toilet not installed correctly, issues with cabinets and much more. I will not be purchasing homes with Beazer in the future.
Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for sharing with us, Andrea. We're thrilled to know that your buying experience was a positive one, but are sorry to hear you've had concerns regarding the quality of your home. We would love to work with you to have your concerns addressed. We will have a representative reaching out shortly to discuss further. Wishing you the best. - Roland ...

The home buying process was smooth with the Beazer team. The downside was that we had a leaky sink, a heater that installed incorrectly and would not heat the house, the new oven did not work at has taken 2 months to fix. Also, the dishwasher was wouldn’t drain at first, the air conditioner was too close to the wall per the code, as well as other minor cosmetic fixes needing to be done.

The initial purchase was great. So many choices at the design center was amazing too. Now when the home gets built takes forever and you begin to receive little communication from Beazer. You find issues during the construction phase and find out at completion they were never addressed. Still trying to get things addressed now that moved in.

The ladies in the front were always helpful and knowledgeable and made the home buying process easy. As far as the build of the house, it was rushed and very sloppy. We were not able to close on time and during our walkthrough we noticed a ton of things they needed to fix but they were not able to fix them before moving in. After moving into the house and living here for 2 months we are still waiting for them to fix everything that was subpar and now we are being inconvenienced. We are still unsure of when things will get fixed such as broken baseboards, hollow tiles, dirty/broken doors, ...

I’ll start by letting you know i have with this home have bought 5 homes. So I’ve been here before, first off the whole contract and purchasing process was a breeze and any questions we had were answered. Majority is positive so instead of 2 stars i gave 3. There are small concerns which unfortunately went unseen but the reason for only 3 stars is, not even a month out the ac unit wasn’t working properly and in arizona on a 111 degree(I think it was) day. We were taken care of after calling around and spent the whole day with a 5 month in a hot house. This is the first time i am able to rant ...

We had several serious issues when we moved in. At the walkthrough painting was still in progress. Electricity was not available in our bathroom due to a wiring fault. One switch position was buried in the wall. Facial boards were not properly installed or fastened. The floors had some kind of glue on them in different areas. The dishwasher was improperly installed and required a 14 day wait for repair service. Touch up painting was missed and we were not given any touch up paint. The one tree was planted dead and had to be replaced. Over all the house needs to be repainted due to the poor ...

I want to start this by saying our actual purchasing experience with our rep Kathleen was amazing. She is always responsive and on top of things. Ongoing she sent pictures and communicated often. My reason for 3 instead of 5 stars is the ongoing issues with the incompletion of our home. We closed mid Sept and moved early Oct. We were in constant touch with the builder about things that were not right/broken/not completed. We are still waiting for several things to be done and they have stopped all communications at this time. I am going to try to reach out once more. Since we have ...

We had a great buying experience from vacant lot to move in. However, after the move in trying to get someone to come take care of many cosmetic issues as been frustrating. Months have gone by, appointments made and no one shows up and just poor communication. I understand there has been some staff changes so I don't think this is pervasive to all Beazer homes in San Tan Valley but more a timing issue of personal. Nonetheless, I have been frustrated.

Unfortunately there were many issues we discovered prior and during our walk through ranging from uneven drywall work and texturing, tile grout, paint and positioning of bathroom sink lights. We love the layout and the quality of most of the structure but the tradespeople must have been sloppy, inexperienced or rushed or all of the above.

I like the value for the price paid. I love the layout, location and space. However, been having an extremely difficult time working with Beazer to have my warranty issues worked. I have not had any problems with 90% of the house construction however the doors quality is bad, and getting them to replace them has been a nightmare. This is not my first new home that I have purchased, I understand with new constructions there are always things that will need to get fixed/replaced ect. The lenders process was time consuming. Having a bidding war between 3-5 lenders. By the time they run your credit and turn all you information in to 3 different lenders. Having to wait and see who gives you the best numbers. They all want your service but my personal experience was bad. Focused on one lender and close to the end everything changed. False information just not good. So we used a different Lender also from Beazer didn’t meet the closing date ended up paying a lot more for fees. Just horrible.

I thought building a home would be better and more rewarding than buying a used home but it’s just a major headache. From the lack of quality work, to customer service after closing is horrible! There are things getting fixed that should’ve been taken care of prior to closing and it’s still ongoing. During closing, a few things were missed that just prove how much these workers do not care (from light fixtures not secured, gashes in the walls, grout and chipped cabinets, lack of paint on doors, paint on hinges, nails all over the backyard, poking through the roof etc.) and the list goes on ...
