After being in the house for a few months, you really start to notice the really poor quality of workmanship that has gone into the build. I have already submitted a workorder for an electrical problem ( but of course Covid will be the reason it cannot be fixed anytime soon.). Every door frame had been busted and repaired poorly. I had to repair the rain shower head myself. There was a large paint run on the front door that was supposed to berepaired, but it was just sanded, not repainted. The electrical problem is multiple switches controlling one light. But they dont all work. Sliding door ...

Houses are very well designed and great floor plans but can't say the same about the workmanship. Also be prepared to move into a home that still has things that need to be completed or repaired. At least that has been my experience.

My husband and I are first time homeowners. We moved into the community because it was close to the military base where my husband is stationed. However, from the get go there were issues delaying the house completion date making us close a week later then planned. The concrete has multiple cracks and the front of the house has a chunk missing which has still not been fixed. Cracks in the doorways were never fixed even though they were taped to be fixed, the plumbing was not hooked up under the kitchen sink and to the refrigerator causing a large puddle of water to pool upon move in, I am ...

I bought a beautiful model in a lovely Beazer neighborhood. Our sales experience was fantastic - everything upon inspection through the first 30 days has been a mess! Countless repairs required, broken (new) appliances, electrical issues all over the home, inconsistent follow up, weeks to complete repairs. It has been 45 days with several issues still not resolved. Shop your builder and get feedback on how they handle post move in issues!

Thank you for submitting this feedback. In review of your account information, we see all warranty requests submitted to us, are being addressed. The sales team is excellent, the supervisors pretend to want to solve issues and then say everything is in standard. The model is well built with attention to detail, mine has lousy drywall, poor tile work door out of square, light switches that still don't work. outside electrical box filled with water and shorted out. can't close the utility box in laundry as the drywall was piled up so thick the latch won't work. Poor quality work

We have built 3 homes, 3 different builders and this one so far is falling to the lowest :( The framing was great, the plumbing had SOO many issues that I'm super happy I have a plumber in the family to point it out, our water is on the wrong side of the house, our gas heater has to be on the highest setting to heat the water, interior painting was the worst, stucco isn't solid on patio so I'm sure that will be breaking very soon, just so much going on with little to no help on getting it done. My punch list was not completed because sub-contractors did not cooperate despite the best efforts of the Beazer supervisor. So, I still have grout and paint spots all over my tile floors and my granite counter top is not anchored properly and has rough spots on the underside that fray clothing. My back yard was left full of debris from construction, so we are constantly cleaning it up and finding nails, etc. The interior walls were painted with one coat of flat paint, so anytime we even just touch it there is a spot and if we try to clean it the paint comes off and leaves a bare spot. The sales team Amber and Beth are absolutely amazing. They are always keeping you up to date on the progress of your home and answer your questions. As far as everything else no so good. The quality of workmanship is poor. Our grout is not even and has gaps and holes in it, we have asked multiple times for this to be repaired and it has yet to be done. We have been in our home about 6 weeks and have found many issues. We found many during the build itself also. We installed a security door on the front and now our front door is unusable because the overhang is too low and the door won't open. Beazer tells us it's been inspected and it's built to specs, funny that my security cameras didn't catch anyone at our front door inspecting it. They say it's not their issue, but the same house down the street has no issue and the measurements are completely different. If you build with them you must stay on top of them at every stage. My tile floor was fine at final walkthrough. When I got the keys the grout was a mess. It was spotted , discolored and looked terrible. I waited 30 days for this issue to be repaired. My furniture for those 30 days were camping chairs. It made no sense for me to move all my furniture in and then move it out for the repair. We had great customer service from our sales rep right up until the day we closed...then customer service disappeared all together. Getting Beazer to repair anything, even issues identified prior to close, is next to impossible. They do not care about customers after closing or any issues they face with the shoddy workmanship. They do not stand behind their quality guarantee and I’m extremely disappointed with their service. I will never purchase a Beazer home again and I do not recommend anyone else do so either. Very disappointed with several aspects of the Beazer home buying experience. Most importantly, our brand new $400K house did not appraise for the purchase price. Additionally, I have had to deal with several repair issues — everything from termite concerns to “dead” electrical outlets to a garage door that didn’t seal effectively.
