We are very happy in our new Beazer home. The process was simple and the people were great. The home quality is wonderful. All the trades did a great job in all areas of the building process and if an issue was discovered, the superintendents were quick to remedy the problem. Best experience in a home purchase that we have had. This is my 6th home purchase, so I have some experience in this regard.

The home buying process for us, as first time buyers, was informative, up to date, and I think as simple as it could get.

17 years ago I built with Beazer so when I was in the market to buy a house again, I only looked at Beazer. I spent over 300,000.00 on this house and am so disappointed. I am actually trying to figure out how to get my money back out when I sell it. I paid a lot of money for a patio door that I can't open one side, another door whistles when the wind blows, and I reported tile in my shower that is cracked, didn't hear back from anyone, and when I called a month later, I was told that it was standard to have some imperfections. I was also told that the contractor refused to fix it. There are pin holes in some tile in my living area, and was told that I would be scheduled to fix it, but again, it has been months with no contact. My cabinets are a whole new story. They are smudged, and not consistent in the color. And don't get me started on the interior painting. Ok, maybe just a few examples: I have paint specks on the tile through out the entire house, my mop board (that I paid extra for) are not painted in several spots, there are black marks on the ceiling especially around ceiling fans, and the best part, there is paint on light fixtures, towel holders, and cabinets. One more thing, Beazer wants feedback, and calls and sends surveys within hours of moving in, I am sure, they want to post those results to make everyone think Beazer is great. They don't tell you that these surveys were conducted within hours of moving in, when you are on a bit of a high from moving into a brand new home. I am sad, really sad, that a builder that I have had great experience with in the past and trusted, has let me down. I can't get a call back from anyone to address these issues. Beazer homes are the best of the best when it came down to us choosing a new home. They are caring, professional and straight forward with all the details involved in buying a home. We loved our experience with Beazer and LOVE our new home,

agent which we bought the home from was amazing Liz but the maintenance and follow up the things that needed to be fixed or repaired prior to moving wasn't done how to call numerous times to make sure they would finish up then told me it was no longer their obligation and now it was mine I had to call the warranty company when the issues were prior my 7 day grace.

There is so many good things but when you are paying so much for a house it's the little errors that stand out

Great sales staff that was easy to work with and helped the process along quickly and efficiently. The workman ship is good and the super indent of the build was great. I am happy I purchased a Beazer home except for the closing process. We signed the papers on a Monday and transferred the funds at that time. On Wednesday we received a notice that they had received the funds. The keys were not given to us till 4:00 on the dot. We were told this at the beginning of the entire process. They have the money but yet we can not have the keys and start moving in earlier. This is wrong!!

Having lots of inside home problems, they are being dismiss as a new home, I'll said NO, I am the one who is not being listened to, I am very disappointed with the results of the interior of the house and service

Great experience and speed of progress of home being built and weekly update of progress.

We were provided several conventional loan options and chose a V.A. loan guarantee. Purchase incentives were excellent with many choices to use them to make it our home. Marquee Mortgage was excellent in assisting with the loan process. Scott, the project manager made sure the house was clean and complete at move in.

We love everything about our new home except the drain in the master shower was discovered to be clogged and will require our bathroom floor to be dig up to unclog the pipe. Bummer!

Keep in constant contact with the Sales People at the Model Homes. This will help you keep informed of what is going on. Branum and Janel were fantastic during our build in Mission Hermosa. Also work with the on-site Supervisors to work through issues early in the process. Brian and Jacie were fantastic and responsive to my calls, emails, and texts. We had quite a few issues at time of move in (to be expected) and these two have been working feverishly to get things right.

Beazer build our dream home. The floor plan on our Abilene 4bed 3.5 bath 3000 sq ft home is perfect for us. My wife and I are really happy we can raise our family in this beautiful home. Thank you.

The home building experience was the best I have ever experienced. The staff and construction crew will keep you informed and are always communicating status, any issues, delays, etc. We always felt we knew exactly where we were, each week of our build. Our house is well built and they pay attention to detail, there were hardly any issues during our walk through or on closing day. We're very pleased with Beazer and would recommend them to anyone looking for a well build home and amazing staff.

Beazer has many floor plans from which to choose, and I like the way that they use space so that there is not "dead" space. They allow for many spacious closets, large pantries, nine foot ceilings, tall doorways, and great insulation that is blown in, including the attic area. They also have great lighting, wiring for security, solar, and cable that is standard. They allow choices for lot selection and placement of the house, the bathroom and kitchen set up, choices for exterior colors, not to mention all the interior decorating choices that are offered. They use quality materials and top-of-the-line technologies. The sales reps are super nice, and the workers work hard and seem to like what they do. The process was an adventure and lots of fun! ... They tell come and fix something and make mistake they say next week, next 2 weeks they never show up. the house not complete in the backyard .

My punch list was not completed because sub-contractors did not cooperate despite the best efforts of the Beazer supervisor. So, I still have grout and paint spots all over my tile floors and my granite counter top is not anchored properly and has rough spots on the underside that fray clothing. My back yard was left full of debris from construction, so we are constantly cleaning it up and finding nails, etc. The interior walls were painted with one coat of flat paint, so anytime we even just touch it there is a spot and if we try to clean it the paint comes off and leaves a bare spot. I understand one coat, but why flat in areas that obviously need to be cleaned periodically? It just seems to me that, for the price of the home, there should have been more attention to detail by the builder. I did have a great experience with Susan in sales and Jimmy in construction. I am just disappointed in the lack of attention to detail since this is a brand-new home in a gated community with an upscale feel and a price tag that would suggest top quality. There are too many things that I am going to have to fix myself: counter top, re-paint walls, etc. ... More

Nice people, nice house. Love the lot and location. At first, hated the woodwork in closets, pantry and laundry - but now love the fact they will serve us well until we're able to upgrade those areas. So my only lasting disappointment was learning that, although we selected a certain kitchen design (about a $2,300 upgrade), there was (later) an additional cost of about $1,900 added on. Not happy about that.

This builder is quick! our home was completed a month sooner than expected

We had several serious issues when we moved in. At the walkthrough painting was still in progress. Electricity was not available in our bathroom due to a wiring fault. One switch position was buried in the wall. Facial boards were not properly installed or fastened. The floors had some kind of glue on them in different areas. The dishwasher was improperly installed and required a 14 day wait for repair service. Touch up painting was missed and we were not given any touch up paint. The one tree was planted dead and had to be replaced. Over all the house needs to be repainted due to the poor quality paint. The block fence was not painted. ... More

If you’re looking for a home buying experience to be perfect I hate to break it to you it doesn’t exist. That being said beaded did a wonderful job from beginning to end. Plus after we moved in if there’s any issues we just go online with our problem and it’s taken care of right away. We did a lot of looking And again glad we chose Beazer. The room options and the options at the design center are great , Love my 15 foot sliding glass door .

Sadly, we have faced one disappointment after another with our new build from the signing of the contracts to obtaining permits to start of the build to the trade workers. The quality of the trade workers that our builder contracts is lacking at best. Upon closing there were still several items needing repair. It is 90 days since we have closed and those items are still in need even after trade workers have been in to do the work. This was our first new build and unfortunately we have not enjoyed it all. This was meant to be our dream home and we honestly are displeased. We have not been able to fully unpack, decorate or make it home yet. It is the holiday season and we have blue tape all over and a hole in our family room ceiling. We would not recommend our builder. ... More
