I wish we had bigger bedrooms though and light bulb in the bedrooms. The kitchen is gorgeous and it's a three story home, so I will get my steps in!

Excellent customer service. Home quality could be better

My experience with all Beazer employees have been excellent. From salesman to home warranty folks everyone has been very helpful. One thing they can improve on attention to details in the buildings. I am sure they hire cheap contractors and as a result little things like uneven drain installation in sinks and showers , uneven base boards etc can be seen in the construction.

Foundation is a great build. Unfortunately house has a lot of design flaws that doesn’t make sense. Choices for upgrades are very very limited. Found out that they do have kitchen upgrades, unfortunately Only for a limited model.

There are a lot of things needing repair already. Since day one our roof gutters were full of concrete and other debris. My husband had to get a ladder and clear it himself and his hand was bleeding. They have a one year repair guarantee but so far our case has been open for 2 months and no one has come to repair anything. Our list of repairs is 2 emails long by the way.

Joanne and Shannon are amazing and so helpful from the sales team. Unfortunately, the quality of the construction finishes did not match the intent of the higher options we selected which impacted my overall experience.

Poor experience

I am very disappointed with the carelessness and poor protection of counter tops, flooring, cabinetry, as a result of people (primarily contractors) improperly placing tools and causing damage. I am also disappointed that Beazer staff did not resolve these matters prior to final inspection. The post move-in 45-day, 90-day follow-up appointments for inspection and repairs have been delayed. Everyone involved in the build of new homes should treat each new home as if it were their own home and paid with their hard owned money. This will be my first and last Beazer purchase.

The last month was really messy and rushed. The closing process was a hassle with the builders and I didn’t feel like they were transparent with us about how long it would take to close. Things were missing up until the last minute and I felt like we were rushed just to meet the end of the quarter numbers.

The purchase process was fantastic.  The sales people were very helpful and knowledgeable. But less than 2 weeks after we got the keys there was water intrusion in the Master Bedroom.  The repairs including mold removal took over 2 weeks done by about 20 people.  This caused delays and massive interuptions to our moving-in plans. Plus there's the nagging fear that there are other damages hiding between the walls.

The Beazer townhome we bought is really good and we really like it. The layout of the house is great and the construction team has been so great with helping us before and after we moved in! The sales people aren't so good though. They don't call back regarding issues and didn't account our wants during the buying process. I would recommend Beazer homes to anyone but they really have to call sales regularly regarding issues to get them resolved in time.

Despite their promises of quality and energy efficiency, we encountered numerous issues post-purchase that were poorly addressed. Everything is well, except the fact that both my bathroom tubs have cracks in them that need to be replaced, and a piece of concrete thats not even and needs to be replaced.

Beazer builder

At least in Plumas Lake the builder gives out subcontracts but does supervise the work. The sub contract rush through the work. They inefficient and leave a mess behind. The nice concrete gets stained with red clay and they dont clean it. Beazer does not want to take responsibilty for that. My new home has concrete that has red clay stains all over.

Misinformation and poor communication on house electrical issues

I was not told I couldn’t put a refrigerator in the garage because the circuit is defective and can’t handle the load, so I purchased a refrigerator and had to return it because I was not told the garage circuit could not handle the refrigerator prior to my move in date. Now Beazer managers don’t want to reimburse me for my return fees. This is unacceptable that a new home owner has to deal with such a problem, when we already have multiple things to deal with when moving into a new house.
