Lisa and Eric walked us through the entire process. They kept us well informed and kept our realtor and lender in the communication loop.. from start to finish, an overall great experience. But now, months later, our street lights still not activated while later phases are already working.

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for your review! We appreciate you taking the time to submit your feedback. We are glad to see your buying experience was a positive one. In regard to the street lights, we have passed this along to our Southern California team and show that a manager has reached out to you to provide an update. The houses are beautiful

The houses are beautiful and we love ours but several things at our last walkthru had to be fixed as they looked rushed or had been done with limited product like paint or patch work. We had stickers all over and even one wall was completely a different size than in the model. The contractors even looked at all the past homes and realized that the garage wall was different in every single home except for the model(false advertising?). Some numbers were also misquoted like a 10k lot premium not shown on any handouts given while in their model office. The design center free, basic granite was ...

Overall, good job. However, Site supervisors need to push craftsmanship over just building homes to meet deadlines. In the end it’s the little things that count. Attention to details.

Choosing additions

Purchasing the home was very easy and my Beazer representative was very helpful through the process. Choosing additions such as countertops, floor, carpet was difficult. The location in Irvine is very far from the townhome complex in Imperial beach. The lady that is supposed to help with this process only would help if you showed up in person to select these additions. I had to work with my beazer home buying rep to get a PowerPoint and then go back to the lady in Irvine and tell her what I wanted. We would email back and forth and she was just difficult to work with. I felt like I did her ...

Friendly during sales process but after the fact, they are so many people pointing the finger at every one else it’s ridiculous. We have two different sytyle of cabinets in our kitchen and no one has bothered to fix the problem. The door for the Master bedroom was cracked prior to us moving in, and no one has bothered to update us regarding this. Our Solar system after 3 months does NOT WORK, and has never been tested! Now we have to wait for Tesla to come out and that’s another month! We are paying for our system that we cannot use and paying for electricity that we should be getting ...

Don’t get me wrong, the people I’ve dealt with associated with Beazer homes have been friendly, professional, and helpful with regard to the home buying process. However, upon purchasing the home, and after walkthroughs where we told that blemishes we observed would be fixed before we got the keys....didn’t get fixed before we got our keys. Since that time Beazer has outdone itself to ensure things we’ve noticed around the house are being fixed, but I feel that when you pay what these homes cost ($500k+) there shouldn’t be as many issues with a BRAND NEW build. Doors should close ...

I have made it very clear in past that my sales rep Samantha was terrible. I won’t go back through it all but it made buying a very poor and stressful experience and Rebecca who is supposedly managing doesn’t even take the time to return customer concern phone calls The quality of the home and workmanship is not what you should expect moving in as I had over 15 repairs on a brand new house and still 5 open ones going on close to 2 months being here Eric the construction manager has been the only saving grace

There’s hasn’t been a single aspect of our home that didn’t need to be fixed after moving in. There was loose threading on our carpet, scratches on our windows, scratches on closet doors, scratches on our kitchen counters, peeling wood floors and spaces between the wood panels, uneven and unfinished kitchen cabinets, paint splatter in almost every room including the metal fixtures, carpet and wood floors. When you spend this much money on a house, you shouldn’t have to deal with all these mistakes. It’s really been a huge hassle dealing with all these people coming into the house and trying ...

Bad Solar experience

I recently bought a home with Beazer. Most things went fine except for the solar set up. My point of contact was Mikayla H. I was told early July a tech would come out to set up my system. It is late August with the solar still not working, my bill is over 1k with SDG&E. I reached out to Mikayla to tell her no one has called. She said she does not have oversight and they should call me. She then put an "away" message on her email. Communication was not only horrible but I feel deeply disrespected. I contacted SunRun and now am handling it my self. I believe Mikayla represents Beazer not ...

Awful Experience with Beazer Homes.

I purchased a new home with beazer expecting a home in excellent condition and after I closed escrow, I came to notice issues with the property. The flooring that was installed in the downstairs kitchen is scratched and needs to be replaced. Also some exterior lights outside attached to my property aren't working. There are a couple more outstanding issues added to that list but those are just two. I've filed warranty claims with beazer over a month ago and I'm still waiting for my issues to be fixed. I've called numerous times , and I've been given dates the repairs would be complete, ...
