Many buyers experienced long delays in completing their homes, but a lot of that was outside of the control of Beazer. They really seems to care, and they put together a good home buying program with friendly people handling the user experience. I would have given five stars had it not been for the part of the process that Beazer could control - it seemed they sold more properties that they can handle, with the number of builders they had. But once they fixed some issues and got moving, the process was very good. I'd recommend purchasing a Beazer home.

We were very pleased with the regular communications provided by the Beazer team - especially the weekly photos and status of the build, even during slow times when very little was changing or they were waiting for inspections, supplies, etc. The team was also very responsive whenever we had questions about status, what was next, etc. We were also pleased with the closing process. Two negative comments: whomever laid the laminate floor did a good job with fit, but TERRIBLE in selection/lay of pieces! Homes are nicely designed but the overall fit and finishes could be much better for the price we spent on our home. Beazer should do a completion walkthrough and inspect the home for completeness and quality completion prior to the new homeowners' walkthrough. Lots of issues that were found could have been resolved with better time management by Beazer and not rushing to completion.

There were some issues that would have improved the experience. There were no options for paint colors/types choices and the walls should have been painted in semi-gloss. There were visually blemished items found in the walk-through that a Beazer rep should have spotted and remedied before our walk-through. Some of the walls are not even close to being straight/perpendicular. Our dryer vent was not vented to the outside at all and ended inside the ceiling above the front porch. We are almost two months post-closing and we do not have any of our bathroom light fixtures and are missing two ...

Beware of time from start to finish and changes in construction for similar homes from the subs and quality of construction for the price of the home! Also the amount of time to rectify problems after closing.

They conține to build even when they are aware it is wrong. the build it and fix it later is not what we consider quality building. This may have been the process since our builder Rob knew he was leaving Beazer and just cared about getting his numbers for his bonus before he left. Regardless a very disappointing experience.

Everything ran smoothly. A few minor problems were handled quickly by Mike White Very satisfied with the home Was surprised that Beazer puts in a whole house air filter unit by Aprilaire. This eliminates dust and pollen in the house and it is noticeable that dust does not collect on our glass tables which occurred in our previous home. Also Beazer puts in a sump pump and dehumidifier in the crawl space to eliminate moisture and dampness problems. In summary, Beazer has great people to help new owners (Mike White and Ashley Morley) and the home has great features.

The actual purchase of the house went well, however, the follow through has been extremely frustrating. We have been extremely frustrated by how many things are wrong with our home and the pushback and follow through on things being rectified. There have been many issues with the exterior of the house including large mounds of dirt still on our property and a marshland behind our house due to poor excavation. The day we moved in we found out our builder left his position and many items in the home were not completed. We were assigned, like everyone else, to a new builder/manager. His name is Brett. We can only say it has been a blessing to have Brett. He is very professional, has a perfect personality for this job, is genuine, and when he says he is going to do something he does it. Great home design. Great community planning, landscaping and home owner amenities. Awful communication, problem response and finishing work. Inconsistent service and problem resolution. Covid will probably be blamed by Beazer, but the major service response and resolution issues are the result of poor communication and effort during the last phase of construction, and following home delivery (settlement). Very unfortunate given the amount of investment this builder has expended into maturing their internal operations and service systems.

Sales, specifically Shannon, was AMAZING throughout the process, including long after contract was signed. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and her company's brand and balances those appropriately. As for the builders, Reese and Linwood, awful at communicating timelines post closing in terms of completing outstanding items, follow through is non existent. Closed in May, two months later and I still can't get a response on when outstanding items will be scheduled, let alone addressed. That group needs a complete overhaul and they should look to change incentives aligned to ...
