The closing took place in the Sycamore Chase model so it was very convenient. The attorney was 3 hours late due to a flat tire but he was ready when he arrived and the closing took no more than 30 minutes. We had no mortgage to close.

I would say that the buying experience was excellent. Customer service was excellent but the communication about the progress of the home was not so good but that's over now. Now that we're in the home we're having difficulty getting some of the things attended to on the punch list like some of the AC issues plumbing geese etc. That's disappointing because it feels like once we've given them the money then they're gone. This seems to be a common complaint among many of my neighbors as well. So we're hoping we can get these issues attended to in a timely manner and move on with enjoying ...

I had a great salesperson, Shannon. Very helpful when issues came up during the building process. I'm a bit disappointed that issues noted on my punch list during my final walk thru have not been completed. The AC has been an issue since the day I moved in. Downstairs is cool, but upstairs is miserably hot. A two tiered AC system would have remedied this issue. Its definitely a design flaw. John and Roland have been responsive helping with this issue but theres only so much they can do. Poorly designed. The homes are lovely. Care and concern of the team

The team was very thorough in the whole process from purchase to move in. The only problem is there is still some items outstanding especially my refrigerator and dishwasher. I’m waiting for some word on delivery date

We were overall very pleased with our experience. One thing of note, however, is that we have e experienced some difficulty with builder follow up post settlement. We do not seem to be receiving the same amount of attention as we did during the home build process.

Would recommend better communication between the sales person and the buyer during the process. It seems like in most cases we had to reach out instead of Beazer contacting us. The Project Manager on site was very helpful and communicated almost regularly, at least weekly.

Many buyers experienced long delays in completing their homes, but a lot of that was outside of the control of Beazer. They really seems to care, and they put together a good home buying program with friendly people handling the user experience. I would have given five stars had it not been for the part of the process that Beazer could control - it seemed they sold more properties that they can handle, with the number of builders they had. But once they fixed some issues and got moving, the process was very good. I'd recommend purchasing a Beazer home.

We were very pleased with the regular communications provided by the Beazer team - especially the weekly photos and status of the build, even during slow times when very little was changing or they were waiting for inspections, supplies, etc. The team was also very responsive whenever we had questions about status, what was next, etc. We were also pleased with the closing process. Two negative comments: whomever laid the laminate floor did a good job with fit, but TERRIBLE in selection/lay of pieces! Shannon was wonderful and made the buying experience easy. She was a joy to work with. Tim kept me informed on the building process. He and John were very responsive with my issues after I moved in. My only complaint was with some of the trades that installed defective materials and had to come back to fix and/or replace. It was a waste of time and materials when why put in something defective and walk away only to have to come back. Excellent communications with the buyer during the build process.

As the home was being built, we got frequent progress reports and pictures of the construction stages the house was undergoing right up to the pre purchase walk through. Based on the owners inspection and observations, any functional and all anomalies in craftsmanship were noted. Actions were taken to correct the items prior to the final owner's walkdown prior to closing. The process and the corrective actions were timely and comprehensive.

Overall I have had the perfect experience with Beazer Homes. I have settled and do have a list of interior fixes that will be dependent on me being at my summer home. I've had to remind twice that the list for outside hasn't been taken care of yet and am hoping this is done when I arrive at the end of the month. While we love our house, the follow-up after closing was not so great. Part of the problem was that we were out of state and it was difficult to keep an eye in things. I could write a long list of issues, but won't bore you all. However, things like a cracked window, window with condensation, crooked pendant lights are just a few. The window took 6 weeks to replace, not acceptable especially since there is a ton of construction going on around me. We highly recommend a independent home inspection. Visiting the site during construction is crucial. Build a relationship with the construction manager and the team. Purchase the highest upgrades that you can afford. Remember you can’t go back.

I believe Beazer homes did not get a sufficient down payment. We were told to come down to Delaware and do a walk thru on Wednesday and settle on Friday. There were so many things that were not finished that we were told to come back on Saturday and close after the Saturday walk thru. We are still in the process of having things completed.
