We like the house and if things were completed by this time, we would be happy. Appointments were not kept and work not completed as promised. We like the amenities and trails.

Shannon was wonderful and made the buying experience easy. She was a joy to work with. Tim kept me informed on the building process. He and John were very responsive with my issues after I moved in. My only complaint was with some of the trades that installed defective materials and had to come back to fix and/or replace. It was a waste of time and materials when why put in something defective and walk away only to have to come back. It took up Tim and John’s time to have to deal with these issues but they always responded quickly and with a smile. Now Whirlpool is another issue. They should ...

Excellent communications with the buyer during the build process.

As the home was being built, we got frequent progress reports and pictures of the construction stages the house was undergoing right up to the pre purchase walk through. Based on the owners inspection and observations, any functional and all anomalies in craftsmanship were noted. Actions were taken to correct the items prior to the final owner's walkdown prior to closing. The process and the corrective actions were timely and comprehensive.

Overall I have had the perfect experience with Beazer Homes. I have settled and do have a list of interior fixes that will be dependent on me being at my summer home. I've had to remind twice that the list for outside hasn't been taken care of yet and am hoping this is done when I arrive at the end of the month. While we love our house, the follow-up after closing was not so great. Part of the problem was that we were out of state and it was difficult to keep an eye in things. I could write a long list of issues, but won't bore you all. However, things like a cracked window, window with condensation, crooked pendant lights are just a few. The window took 6 weeks to replace, not acceptable especially since there is a ton of construction going on around me. The entire process from beginning to settlement was smooth and easy for the most part. Our walk through issues were taken care of immediately and the home was prepared nicely. We highly recommend a independent home inspection. Visiting the site during construction is crucial. Build a relationship with the construction manager and the team. Purchase the highest upgrades that you can afford. Remember you can’t go back.

I believe Beazer homes did not get a sufficient down payment. We were told to come down to Delaware and do a walk thru on Wednesday and settle on Friday. There were so many things that were not finished that we were told to come back on Saturday and close after the Saturday walk thru. We are still in the process of having things completed.

The structure, itself, is beautiful and seems to be built well. However, we had multiple appliance issues upon arrival...dishwasher and dryer were not working. Also, enclosed porch was not added until I brought it to their attention. I still am unable to have the landscaper turn off the irrigation system because the plumber did not install a certain valve. Also, I'm still waiting for sink to be installed in laundry room. I would advise any buyer to be astute and carry all of your paperwork with you for the final walk through. Also, have everything checked for functionality prior to moving in.

It was a stressful experience. The builders took a lot of short cuts. The house looks pretty for the most part, but a lot of my concerns have not been addressed, and I have been in my home for seven weeks. They cannot deviate from the build at all because they are a national builder.

Our salesperson was wonderful. We have been in our house for over 30 days and things still are not fixed. We have a switch issue with garage lights, incorrect tile in the middle of the bathroom floor, black silt fence is half falling down (our home is the only home with the silt on our side of the street, the grass is 12 inches high between our fence and the silt) and the back of our home looks trashy. I like our new home but the construction quality leaves much to be desired. Things that we were promised were not delivered. Answers went unanswered. Construction was slow moving yet overly sloppy and quick at times. The quality of everything from windows to hinges seem to be second rate and much will end up being replaced. Also, not enough choices were given in the building material and other items. No deviation at all was allowed. Homes are nicely designed but the overall fit and finishes could be much better for the price we spent on our home. Beazer should do a completion walkthrough and inspect the home for completeness and quality completion prior to the new homeowners' walkthrough. Lots of issues that were found could have been resolved with better time management by Beazer and not rushing to completion.

There were some issues that would have improved the experience. There were no options for paint colors/types choices and the walls should have been painted in semi-gloss. There were visually blemished items found in the walk-through that a Beazer rep should have spotted and remedied before our walk-through. Some of the walls are not even close to being straight/perpendicular. Our dryer vent was not vented to the outside at all and ended inside the ceiling above the front porch.
