They conține to build even when they are aware it is wrong. the build it and fix it later is not what we consider quality building. This may have been the process since our builder Rob knew he was leaving Beazer and just cared about getting his numbers for his bonus before he left. Regardless a very disappointing experience.

The buying experience was ok. The post closing, not so much. Plenty of items from day one I am still addressing, such as wrong rail color, defective kitchen cabinets, scratched and not working appliances, and the biggest, which I do not accept BZH has no responsibility, is the lack of cable/wifi available on my block.

Buying process was really good as well as the actual construction However the follow up to problems is not acceptable. Warrany dept is non responsive . If this doesn't improve I will not recommend beazer homes to anyone

We have been in our home for only just over two months and I would never recommend Beazer, not even my worst enemy if I had one. Communication from the office, simply on small things important to existing in the community, is the worst. They’re incredibly friendly, but can’t answer any questions and the info they do have, they fail to share. The construction manager is just a salesman. It’s incredibly difficult to get things done and I spend weeks on weeks changing him down for things he said he’d do. He’s made promises and provided information that’s outright false. Several options that influenced my decision to buy were changed without advising me. Ie: the master bathroom and the master bedroom door(s) It may have been in plans but that can easily be missed. After closing on the home I had issues with an Hd outlet. I could not find the lower end of the tube, making impossible to snake the cable through. The house itself is pretty well built. But Beazer did not tell us prior to closing that MediaCom, the only cable supplier in the Estuary, had not installed any of the necessary infrastructure. Beazer claims they didn’t know-that’s hard to believe. And if true, local management is incompetent and should be fired. In any case they have disavowed any responsibility. The staff was very helpful in selecting "extras". The sales rep did a great job of explaining the use of the select mortgage program and savings. Our disappointment comes in the closing process and the lack of quality control. After 2 months we are still waiting for action on our 2+page punch list. Most items on the list are a result of sloppy workmanship and oversight. Our home inspector referred to the work as below industry standards.

Everything in a Beazer home is builder grade. The workmanship throughout the home's systems is poor quality. The finishes are minimal, for example, there is no molding around windows or ceilings. The trim molding at the floor is cut haphazardly and nail holes are not finished or stick out of the trim in many areas. Every system in the house I bought had to be corrected. The ac, garage door, fireplace. water and duct systems were not hooked up correctly and all had to have corrective work done to make them function. DO NOT PAY FOR PAINT UPGRADE! When you have your walk through make sure your check every thing over really good. DONT close until everything is fixed and working. Our house was a "rush" job to close by Beazer's year end of September and we have had so many issue's that take way too long for them to address.

The wood used around the windows and doors is dented and damaged but it was still used and then they paint over the damaged areas. After spending over $400,000 for a new home we expected to move into a completed home. Instead we will be inconvenienced for months as you come back in to fix or finish a long list of items. Not the way I wanted to move into my new home. I wish we had purchased an NV home at the other end of our block, away from the stench of the chicken farm that we weren’t suppose to smell, that our neighbors say were move in ready.
