They still have not promised fixing what they said they would take care of in April.

Post close issues. Lack of awareness/disclosures

The buying experience was ok. The post closing, not so much. Plenty of items from day one I am still addressing, such as wrong rail color, defective kitchen cabinets, scratched and not working appliances, and the biggest, which I do not accept BZH has no responsibility, is the lack of cable/wifi available on my block.

Beazer Homes responded:
Gregg, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the warranty concerns that have come up after your closing. It's great to hear that our team is addressing the items with your home. We understand that the alternative options for cable and internet service are not ideal for everyone and we will continue to follow up with the preferred network provider's fiber optic installation schedule. - Daniela ...

The Worst

We have been in our home for only just over two months and I would never recommend Beazer, not even my worst enemy if I had one. Communication from the office, simply on small things important to existing in the community, is the worst. They’re incredibly friendly, but can’t answer any questions and the info they do have, they fail to share. The construction manager is just a salesman. It’s incredibly difficult to get things done and I spend weeks on weeks changing him down for things he said he’d do. He’s made promises and provided information that’s outright false. There’s been so many ...

Beazer Homes - Several options that influenced my decision to buy were changed

Several options that influenced my decision to buy were changed without advising me. Ie: the master bathroom and the master bedroom door(s) It may have been in plans but that can easily be missed. After closing on the home I had issues with an Hd outlet. I could not find the lower end of the tube, making impossible to snake the cable through. Eventually the cable was snaked down the wall. “ If I had known , I wouldn’t have paid $165 for something I did not get and could have done myself. It’s been 7 weeks since I closed and I am still waiting to have a door shaved that is rubbing against ...

We still don’t have internet service

The house itself is pretty well built. But Beazer did not tell us prior to closing that MediaCom, the only cable supplier in the Estuary, had not installed any of the necessary infrastructure. Beazer claims they didn’t know-that’s hard to believe. And if true, local management is incompetent and should be fired. In any case they have disavowed any responsibility. Basically, they’ve said “it’s not our problem—deal with MediaCom. They fail to understand that we buyers deal with THEM. We depend on the builder to do their due diligence in all areas. After almost 2 months we’re still dealing with ...

Beazer Homes responded:
James, that you for taking the time to discuss your concerns with us regarding the availability of your preferred network provider. We understand the frustration with installation delays and are glad to have discussed the options available to you with alternative network providers, until your preferred network is available. It is our understanding that MediaCom is working to complete their installation and provide service in the area soon. - Daniela ...

Don’t settle until everything is fixed that is obvious to you. Don’t settle on a house that has construction on both sides of yours. Windows do not lock.

Beazer Homes responded:
It was great speaking with you today, D. We again apologize for the inconveniences imposed with ongoing home construction in your community, especially the neighboring homes. Our Customer Care team has been provided an update on the items which require some attention and will be reaching out to you soon.
