Beautiful home, lot less quality product than expected

All looks good before closing, then you find that you have a lake on each side of the home, your electrical box is not working, chipping tiles, cheap pavers. These are things that eventually will cost a lot of money to replace in the long run. The homeowner should expect to re-do all flooring, outside paint, pavers electric box and much more in less than most newly built homes. Very disappointing - great service from the field but the horrible product in general. If they could have found any other way to save money they would have.

I had with Beazer Homes. On 03/05/2024 I was scheduled to sign documents at the title company. However, upon arrival, I had to wait for an unacceptable seven hours due to the fact that Beazer Homes had not provided the necessary survey documents. This delay not only caused significant inconvenience but also resulted in unexpected expenses amounting to several thousand dollars. The situation was further exacerbated by the unprofessional and rude behavior of Kevin Dixon, the Beazer Homes Sales Director. His response to the issue was dismissive and lacking in courtesy, which only added to my ...

Buyers Beware- Beazer sends back bad reviews

Beazer unfortunately did not like my first review and sent me a notification to redo it. So I dropped it from 2 stars to 1. Plain and simple, the process was a nightmare. Beazer had a ton of mistakes throughout the process and then wanted to penalize me for it. I brought up an issue 3 months before closing and they waited till the month of closing to tell me they can’t get it fixed in time, and that I can either move back the closing date another month or accept it as is with minimal contribution. Then after closing I had a ton of issues that still are not resolved. I am still waiting for ...

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for your feedback, Manuel. We apologize that we did not receive your initial review. The third-party company that processes these will occasionally send a review back if there are modifications that need to be made. With that said, we want you to know that we truly value all feedback provided. We see that your local Beazer representative has submitted several warranty requests on your behalf. We would like to encourage you to feel free to reach out to our New Home Contact Center should you have any other items that need attention. Purchased a new home with Beazer and asked for a few warranty issues to be taken care of, this has been going on for over a month with no response. House has settlement cracks and was told it was stucco, the inside of my garage is not stucco with those same cracks.

Absolutely Terrible Home Buying Experience

I would leave zero stars if it allowed me to. Its been an overall bad experience. Beazer started with a lack of communication. We never knew what was going on during the building process and it’s now clear why we did not. The company was hiding its poor workmanship. Beazer completely rushed through building and their work shows. Now that the house has been completed, we have yet been able to move in comfortably because of the problems that still remain. To name a few of the over 100 documented issues noted by us and our third party building inspector, let’s start with these. Immediately after ...

Bad for the little things

Will they build you a house? Yes. Will they miss the little things they shouldn't? Also yes. Here's some examples: Tons of paint drops on your floor because they're in a rush to fix paint mistakes they made weeks back and it's 3 days out from closing Failing make good on their promises to get you a $600 giftcard you're owed because they put the wrong model of appliance in the contract and got you "upgrades" instead, for TWO MONTHS after closing. Putting in several one-way light switches upside down. Price gouging you on carpets, you pay for a whole house but get it only in 1/4 of the ...

Poor Quality Control and Construction Supervisor has no control about quality of work

  • Charan S.

Everything is left to sub contractors and their vendors, no control by construction supervisor as he may be handling too many jobs, response to customer questions during construction is very negative and try to reply as that is standard in Central Florida as labor shortage, Pressure test on water pipes not done properly and resulted in water leaks under the concrete slabs even after four days of purchase.

Since we have moved in we have had several issues in the home that require repairs. Almost every vendor has either no showed us or showed up on the wrong day when no one was home to let them in. It’s extremely frustrating to have to take time off work and then have the person not show up. We have been in our home over a month and still have several issues that still need to be addressed.

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you so much for your review. We would like to genuinely apologize for any and all issues you have experienced with our vendors and we will be addressing them. We do ask that you continue to report any concerns that you may have with your home, to the New Home Contact Center at 888.623.2937. Do not buy a Beazer home. They are poorly built and the after-sales service is non existent. Once the house is closed on, they are unresponsive and do not care about warranty-related issues.

We have had problems from day 1. The electrical was bad. Water sprinklers in front of the garage don’t work. My driveway is uneven and needs immediate attention. My garage door doesn’t close properly. Lies after lies. We had 4 builders. All said we want you to be happy. I would of never closed on this house with what I’ve been through. Contractors do a lousy job and we have to redo the work. Nobody should have to go through this. I can’t even enjoy the house because someone is always working on something or rescheduling. There’s a lot that Beazer doesn’t disclose. Very shady. Between the ...
