To someone just driving by or visiting the area for their child/grandchild’s tennis/soccer match, the Gatherings would appear as a really nice place to live, and don’t get me wrong, it is a nice place to live. However, as the old saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover, this can, to a certain degree, be applied here. The value of your purchase here might be lower than you’d think and expect. There seems to be a lot of shoddy or cheap work that’s been done (in our unit anyway) which, in some other “new” dwellings might be acceptable, but for what we agreed to pay here, that should not ...

What you have described is not the experience we hope to provide at our Gatherings at Lake Nona community. It has NOT been smooth sailing with Beazer. We have had many post move problems with the house, especially the broken water main. The time to resolve these issues has been longer than expected. There are still some pending issues to resolve. This is less than two into a brand new home.

Working with Beazer was good overall with communication throughout. After moving we see that somethings were not completed as nicely as expected at what seems to be a bit of quantity over quality with new homes being built. Nothing too major but the final product should be better presented.

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for your feedback! While we are very happy to hear the communication with our team was good; from the experience you shared, it looks like we have areas that need improvement. Make sure you keep notes throughout the process, ask plenty of questions. If you don't understand something you are ask to sign don't sign it.Beazer does a well built house just have to stay on top of the Contractor in charge of your house , they seem to take things for granted, I'm still dealing with issues after two months of closing ,that should have been taken care of before closing.

I purchased a home in Osceola County, Florida. Located at PennyRoyal, Florida 34744. The reason for the email is that I am very dissatisfied and frustrated with the way your company is handling my non-working AC issue. I purchased and closed my home in October 25th 2022 and my AC is still not working. This issue was acknowledged during the first walk (shame on me for closing in good faith)and the sales agent/construction promised me the issue would be resolved before I close. It’s been several months since I closed on my new home and I still have not been able to move in or enjoy my new ...

The communication was awful. My wife and I had to relocate to a hotel, because Beazer did not communicate the 2nd time our closing was changed. Beazer made a small attempt to compensate us, but only about half of the expense they created. The warranty department has been pitiful. The warranty guy “Steve” has no business dealing with the home buyer. His supervisor “Ryan” has made no attempt to get in touch with us. He is either unaware of our issues, or he doesn’t care! Neither is acceptable. The good news is, we do like our home.

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Marty. While we are thrilled you love your new home, we also apologize for any confusion during the closing process. Sales Guy Disappeared - Confusion Through Closing - Warranty Mystery

Our sales rep disappeared once we signed the contract, which delayed closing by weeks. Never heard from the original "closing agent" rep from Beazer until I escalated. Team took over to push the closing forward. Warranty is a mystery. At closing the closing team had no idea of the process to notify HOA - I had to reach out to them via escalation. I notified Beazer that the closing process was terrible, hopefully that will improve. HOA management company is strong - so that has been a good experience.

Beazer Homes responded:
John, we appreciate your feedback and have shared your experience with our team. We are always looking to identify opportunities where we can improve. We found that the house has many issues, AC stopped working 4 weeks after closing date, AC tech found a towel inside of AC, water pressure low due to rocks and glue on pipes, no attic lid, laundry room is very hot and there is condensed water in AC vent. Inspectors need to pay more attention to details, customer service reps need to follow up until completion at this point attic lid and the wall opened to fix the water pipes still without paint.

We closed on our new Beazer home on December 31. It has been nearly two (2) months since we closed on our home and we still have a punch list with 15+ items that need to be addressed... from painting to floor fixes to stained grout in our bathrooms. The overall home construction seems to be good, but the attention to detail, quality of work, and respect for the new homeowners by the trades (i.e., painters, drywall, framers, etc.) is badly lacking. When we moved in the house had not even been cleaned, and we even had urine stains on one of our bathroom toilets. Buyer beware, do not close on ...

Beautiful home, lot less quality product than expected

All looks good before closing, then you find that you have a lake on each side of the home, your electrical box is not working, chipping tiles, cheap pavers. These are things that eventually will cost a lot of money to replace in the long run. The homeowner should expect to re-do all flooring, outside paint, pavers electric box and much more in less than most newly built homes. Very disappointing - great service from the field but the horrible product in general. If they could have found any other way to save money they would have.

Beazer unfortunately did not like my first review and sent me a notification to redo it. So I dropped it from 2 stars to 1. Plain and simple, the process was a nightmare. Beazer had a ton of mistakes throughout the process and then wanted to penalize me for it. I brought up an issue 3 months before closing and they waited till the month of closing to tell me they can’t get it fixed in time, and that I can either move back the closing date another month or accept it as is with minimal contribution. I would leave zero stars if it allowed me to. Its been an overall bad experience. Beazer started with a lack of communication. We never knew what was going on during the building process and it’s now clear why we did not. The company was hiding its poor workmanship. Will they build you a house? Yes. Will they miss the little things they shouldn't? Also yes. Here's some examples: Tons of paint drops on your floor because they're in a rush to fix paint mistakes they made weeks back and it's 3 days out from closing Failing make good on their promises to get you a $600 giftcard you're owed because they put the wrong model of appliance in the contract and got you "upgrades" instead, for TWO MONTHS after closing. Putting in several one-way light switches upside down. Price gouging you on carpets, you pay for a whole house but get it only in 1/4 of the ...
