Excited about our new home

We love our home and community. Beazer knocked others out of the park with Belle Vie! It’s quaint and feels very exclusive with the small number of homes. The location is very conveniently located. We are happy to have found it.

A troubled start, as Beazer gave up the sale, but after interference from our broker, the work was completed on time, with a good finish and support from the builder! We are satisfied and happy because we paid the fair price for an excellent house.

Long wait, many mishaps, low quality

  • Hans G.

We have invested more than half a million dollars into our new home, expecting quality finishings. We chose Beazer because they seemed to be an experienced quality builder, even in COVID impacted times. Sadly, after waiting almost 4 months longer than originally expected, the results are not impressive. Missing insulation, bad plumming, very low-quality paint job, poor water drainage, crooked walls, A/C issues, loose wall fixings, among others. They are covering most issues with the warranty, and I get that COVID has impacted our lives, but for such an expensive investment, things should not ...

Hans, we hold ourselves to a high standard for our construction practices and do not take the investment you have made in your home lightly. Beazer Homes - In general terms, the house and the floorplans are beautiful.

In general terms, the house and the floorplans are beautiful. But the lack of attention to detail is sad. I received my house with a lot of missing finishes, like cabinets, floors, paint, etc, Yes, the builder is scheduling people to come and fix things, but that is not the ideal way to buy and receive a brand new house! Also, the told me that the amenities and pool would be built in March 2021, it is now May and nothing has been initiated, very disappointed. The community lacks of lighting for the night time, the mailbox is uncovered.

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for letting us know about your experience, Carolina. We understand that touch-ups needed on a new home can be frustrating. We appreciate you allowing our Customer Care team the opportunity to address these items for you. Please know that your feedback has also been shared with our team at Moss Park Preserve. During the process of construction I visited the house a couple of times and some of the materials used for the framing were in bad shape and were not replaced. The different contractors do not respect other people's job and cause some damages to the work already done, paint job is bad and they installed my bath tub with a lot of dirt underneath and when I informed the inspector about it he stated it was to support the tub, but I have never seen anything like that in my previous new homes and nothing was done about it. The floors on the second floor are not leveled and when I installed ...

To someone just driving by or visiting the area for their child/grandchild’s tennis/soccer match, the Gatherings would appear as a really nice place to live, and don’t get me wrong, it is a nice place to live. However, as the old saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover, this can, to a certain degree, be applied here. The value of your purchase here might be lower than you’d think and expect. There seems to be a lot of shoddy or cheap work that’s been done (in our unit anyway) which, in some other “new” dwellings might be acceptable, but for what we agreed to pay here, that should not ...

Working with Beazer was good overall with communication throughout. After moving we see that somethings were not completed as nicely as expected at what seems to be a bit of quantity over quality with new homes being built. Nothing too major but the final product should be better presented.

Make sure you keep notes throughout the process, ask plenty of questions. If you don't understand something you are ask to sign don't sign it.Beazer does a well built house just have to stay on top of the Contractor in charge of your house , they seem to take things for granted, I'm still dealing with issues after two months of closing ,that should have been taken care of before closing.

I purchased a home in Osceola County, Florida. Located at PennyRoyal, Florida 34744. The reason for the email is that I am very dissatisfied and frustrated with the way your company is handling my non-working AC issue. I purchased and closed my home in October 25th 2022 and my AC is still not working. This issue was acknowledged during the first walk (shame on me for closing in good faith)and the sales agent/construction promised me the issue would be resolved before I close. The communication was awful. My wife and I had to relocate to a hotel, because Beazer did not communicate the 2nd time our closing was changed. Beazer made a small attempt to compensate us, but only about half of the expense they created. The warranty department has been pitiful. The warranty guy “Steve” has no business dealing with the home buyer. His supervisor “Ryan” has made no attempt to get in touch with us. He is either unaware of our issues, or he doesn’t care! Neither is acceptable. The good news is, we do like our home.

Sales Guy Disappeared - Confusion Through Closing - Warranty Mystery

Our sales rep disappeared once we signed the contract, which delayed closing by weeks. Never heard from the original "closing agent" rep from Beazer until I escalated. Team took over to push the closing forward. Warranty is a mystery. At closing the closing team had no idea of the process to notify HOA - I had to reach out to them via escalation. I notified Beazer that the closing process was terrible, hopefully that will improve. HOA management company is strong - so that has been a good experience.

Beazer Homes responded:
John, we appreciate your feedback and have shared your experience with our team. We are always looking to identify opportunities where we can improve. Beazer Homes - We found that the house has many issues, AC stopped working 4

We found that the house has many issues, AC stopped working 4 weeks after closing date, AC tech found a towel inside of AC, water pressure low due to rocks and glue on pipes, no attic lid, laundry room is very hot and there is condensed water in AC vent. Inspectors need to pay more attention to details, customer service reps need to follow up until completion at this point attic lid and the wall opened to fix the water pipes still without paint.

We closed on our new Beazer home on December 31. It has been nearly two (2) months since we closed on our home and we still have a punch list with 15+ items that need to be addressed... from painting to floor fixes to stained grout in our bathrooms. The overall home construction seems to be good, but the attention to detail, quality of work, and respect for the new homeowners by the trades (i.e., painters, drywall, framers, etc.) is badly lacking. When we moved in the house had not even been cleaned, and we even had urine stains on one of our bathroom toilets. Buyer beware, do not close on ...
