Easy experience and great quality home

We have been happy with our home buying experience with Beazer. We found their team to be very helpful and care about making sure our home was designed, built and completed as agreed.

Very happy with our new home purchase in Westfield. The staff has been great to work. Really like the location as well as the house we built. Only a few minor issues that have been resolved quickly.

Beazer did a great job, fixed any mistakes and Matt stayed in constant communication with us through the entire process of having our home built!

I loved building my home with Beazer from start to finish. They were right on the mark with the estimated finish dates. It was easy to select options at the design center and they walked you through the different levels of cost for each. Throughout the process I had weekly updates from the crew onsite as to what was happening with my house. At the end, as inspectors came in, each one kept commenting on the quality of Beazer homes. I love my house and it instantly felt like home.

The entire process went smoothly. Once we settled on a floor plan, we started by selecting structural options. These are things like lot preference, basement, fireplace, ceiling height, extra windows, Beazer Design Choice options (which are options for things like kitchen layout, flex rooms to be a dining room, a study, an added bedroom). The design session came next. The design studio we used was only open certain days of the week. I highly recommend taking advantage of those open days prior to your design appointment to shop all of your options. Beazer offers a generous selection and consequently there is a infinite number of combinations of flooring, tile, granite, fixtures, etc. We used those open studio days to "pre-select" what we wanted and how much it would cost. This made our design appointment go much smoother than if we had not "pre-selected". We had a small window to tweak our choices, but Beazer starts ordering pretty quickly, so shop wisely. The last step is construction. Beazer assigned a construction foreman to build our home. He called every week to give progress reports. Beazer delivered our home on time. We built and picked out our extras which was great, and the superintendents and sales manager were excellent at reporting weekly progress + we lived close enough to watch construction regularly. However, we were not informed that we would have to purchase a refrigerator until the week before closing, which was a hefty out of pocket and did not have one in time to move thus having to throw away food. The private HOA used by Beazer also took out extra money at closing beyond the yearly HOA fees that was not explained and basically a non-explained assessment. Overall good experience. Weekly updates on time. Fixed everything we asked. Travis, Matt and Jenn are great to work with. Disappointed with plumbing fixtures. Steps to loft creak, Preferred lenders was a nightmare at clients. They were still asking for new documentations the the day of class

The experience was good until their preference lender can to play. Very bad experience with their preference lender. The construction process was awesome. The sales rep was very helpful in all aspects.

Seems like I have nice neighbors and I like the area. Poor attention to detail. Sloppy edge painting that I have had to correct. Poir cleaning prior to taking possession. I had to remove taped signs in the guest room window, clean the windows and blinds. Very dirty. I experienced 4 differebt leaks resulting in closing delay, wet flooring less than 48 hrs after moving in. It took 1 month to resolve, Multiple trips by plumbers, painters, floor removal/installation. This started 7/23, with me notifying people on 7/25 and trim is still not finished. Leaks in HVAC, lacking or incorrectly dobe amenities I had paid for. Terrible plants in the landscaping. Going to have to have a tree removed and pay for it myself. My duet mate had no such issues as ger son-in-law was here everyday. I couldn't oversee so clisely. Wish I had had someone to help me do that. ... More

Had a good experience with Builders and office team. Weekly updates on Construction progress and answering all questions was good. Work was completed with the given date but finishing on cement flooring/wood trim and painting was not good because of lack of experienced labors.

No one is pushy but your questions are answered promptly, and courteously.

The purchase process was well done. We felt as if the people that we spoke with did a good job of communicating the steps to the process. Since we have moved it, however, we have discovered that our heat ducts were not hooked up properly in our guest room (after inspections by the builder, by the heating and air company and even an independent inspector). That is concerning. We have also had 4 tires ruined -and 2 of the 3 cars involved needed to get new sets of tires because of the damage. All of the damage was due to nails being left in the road during the neighborhood building process.

Communication is the key, please have them updated on all aspect good or bad. Overall we’re happy with the home.

Overall good experience during construction. Helpful Weekly updates. Little slower during last month of construction and follow up for on time closing. Quality construction and materials.

The quality of the building materials and workmanship were grade A! The superb sales associate, LK and project manager, SC kept me in the loop on everything happening (and not happening) in our weekly meetings from inception to closing. They made me feel they both had my best interest at heart and in mind!! Thanks to all for making this such a great experience!!!

Disappointed with cleaning and orientation. House was not ready until the last day of closing.

Great Sales Team!! Had transition of Job Foreman's during our build. Need cleaning crew to do a much more through cleaning before move in.
