Communication needed to be better.

We had a great experience overall, but our new home counselor wasn't personable and rarely checked in with us. If we didn't call or text him for updates/reminders, then I don't think we'd ever hear from him.

Beazer Homes responded:
Okezie, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that you felt the communication with the sales team was lacking. At Beazer, we strive to ensure all of our homeowners are kept up to date throughout their new home journey. We apologize for missing the mark this time. We'll be sure to pass along your feedback to your team so we can help build a better Beazer going forward. Wishing you all the best in your new home. - Roland ...

Sales associate was fine, but the craftsmanship of the home is subpar. As I live in the home you start to see all the poor craftsmanship.

Thank you for this review, John. We are glad to see your sales experience was a good one. However, we do apologize that the quality of the home did not meet your expectations. Beazer Homes - They exceeded our closing date by 3 months by making excuses

They exceeded our closing date by 3 months by making excuses about supplies while other homes like move-in quick and highly priced ones were being built. We were very disappointed and it created a mess in our timeline for moving. It messed our plans up big time.

Beazer Homes responded:
Kofi, we appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about the delays you experienced. Beazer continuously strives to provide outstanding service and quality and will be using your review to improve. We hope that our dedicated customer care team can regain your confidence in us. The model homes were great. I wish the same attention to detail was paid in the building of my home. I have found so many issues that I had to create a list and my NEW home has more patches and band aids than the one I sold before buying. The material is great, the workmanship is poor. The work done on the 10 day walkthrough which is meant to fix items missed previously was very poorly done and much left incomplete or not addressed at all.

Beazer Homes responded:
This is never the experience we want our homeowners to have, Ronald. We'd love the opportunity to discuss your concerns with you. If you get a chance, give us a call at (888) 623-2937 or email us at nhcc@beazer.com. Thank you. - Sam BeazerHomes

Frustrating Experience

We needed minor items fixed and had some simple questions after 2 days of moving in. We called the person who conducted the Home Orientation and he had left the company. We called our selling agent and never received a call back. Come to find out they had all left or been moved to another location. I had to go to the leasing office to get an answer to my issue. Simply seemed unprofessional that no one returned our calls and I had to go to the office to resolve it myself. Hope this isn't the norm.

Beazer Homes responded:
We are sorry to hear that you were unable to reach us for assistance. Please know that this should not be a typical experience while submitting warranty claims. I am not sure who thought it was a bright idea to build a partial trail so close to a home. I will say as the homeowner it was not such a bright idea. The half trail has somehow given neighbors the green light to cut through my yard everyday, all day and without hesitation; resulting in damaged grass/yard, dog feces, etc., etc.!!

Good morning, I recently purchased a house with Beazer. I will breakdown 3 phases from the beginning to the end: Phase 1 - Beginning: I and my wife felt in love with the model home right after we saw it. I would say the design is gorgeous. The negotiation was hectic though due to Beazer's internal communication and price was adjusted. However, we were happy with the counter offer and moved on. I want to say thanks to the sales team and my agent to work out the deal. Phase 2 - Building: you will receive an update on the weekly basis from the Project Manager. It's great when you ...

Solidly Built House, Poor Finish Work

Beazer builds a solid home but some of the finishing details including drywall work and painting need significant improvements. Floorplans make great use of square footage. I will likely need to touch up drywall and repaint the entire home. As well, noise isolation between units could be improved.

We have had many problems with this house, but luckily most appear to be minor. We spoke to lots of our neighbors who seem to have the same issues. We had a crack in the foundation that resulted in a leak within 1 week of moving in. Apparently this happens a lot and fortunately didn't have our basement finished by them so it limited the damage. At this price point you would expect a certain quality. We spend about 50k in additional upgrades. Our quartz counters had huge scratches in it that they buffed out, but now you can see a big area of discrepancy. some of the stainless steel ...

It was all good experience till the closing date. After closing there were many issues and big one was HVAC which is still not working after 1 and a half month of closing. I think Beazer should do a thorough check to test and review the home/appliances/others before closing with customer. Overall not a good experience.- Vik

Just moved into a new home built by Beazer. I'm extremely disappointed at the quality of materials used and the lack of good quality assurance inspections. I owned previous homes built by Pulte and Ryan, and their quality is much better. A home priced at over half a million dollars should have top of the line construction materials and hardware. After moving in, I found out my A/C compressor was never connected (hence never tested). Once connected by sub-contractor, it didn't cool at all. Sub-contractor came back and found out valves were never opened. I paid $1000 for a car charger ...

The construction of the home is mediocre at best. I am finding all kinds of issues where the dry wall is paper thin and if you press your finger in the wall, it will go straight through! I will contact the better business bureau for homes made so cheaply but, you are charging consumers upward of $450,000. This is our hard earn money and we don’t want to spend it on subpar product. There are more people complaining in this subdivision.

In response to this survey I do have items that were being addressed by warranty claim It seems that the follow up is laxidasical as the 10 day inspection was initiated by me after 20 days Promised items aren't on time and usually require multiple calls to remind them, filter, hose, sprinkler, wood plugs for steps, etc. The items that were deficient are the drywall , Lot of cracking in the ceiling and multiple joints The garbage disposal did not have electric cord, windows, door adjustments The same goes for the 45 day inspection...Have yet to hear from Joe Warranty or anyone else
