My overall experience was standard. Get your paperwork in prior to closing and you are fine. There were some additional charges at closing that were we're not expecting so make sure to plan for that but that has nothing to do with Beazer. The Customer Service team that handles service repairs could improve by being more efficient in handling requests in a more timely manner.

Quality Workmanship on the Homes - HOA Issues

Five stars go to Carmine and Tiffany in the sales office because they are so customer service oriented and dedicated. Five stars also to Corey, the home inspector who is so helpful and meticulous, ensuring everything is complete with no deficiencies. Inexpensive blinds are included on all windows except the window at the entrance of the town home, overlooking the stairs. The glare coming from this uncovered window makes going up and down the stairs dangerous so we've added blinds there. Cliffs at Dover isn't quite 75% built yet so Beazer is controlling the HOA (there are three members on ...

The home is a standard designed community. Home is comfortable but very few (plan) options to make it unique to your personal needs. Marketing Reps are comfortable to work with, can get you information you request in a timely manner. The HOA paperwork Guidelines is not always complete requiring delay in getting approvals. Using recommended lender made that process go fast and smooth. So far a good community to be a part of.

Beazer Homes - Having a guide walk me through the home was really an add to

Having a guide walk me through the home was really an add to an excellent product. He explain every feature and innovation, including any maintenance. His presence during the walk thruway preferable to an excellent product manual you provided. The 2 bedroom townhome presented at 4542 Pencester St was move in ready in the best sense as every aspect was completed in a professional manner with eye on the details detailed. I appreciate the fire suppression systems coverage. The kitchen cabinet peninsula layout provides additional drawers and storage but they are a bit inadequate in width if ...

We purchased our home from beazer after it had been built. We weren’t able to pick any details, so that was a downer but we have done a lot after the fact. Some issues have come up and we’re handled relatively quickly, reason for not five and contemplated a three. Our HVAC was not functioning properly and we weren’t given the treatment one would expect. We are hopeful we won’t have to deal with the issue again.

We purchased a new home but many things were not right on the celebration walk. We’ve been in the home for two months now and are still dealing with taking time off work for contractors to make everything right - as it should have been when I moved in. Just noticed today that most of the windows look like they have mold in them and the seals are all cut up or pinched. Ugh.

Many steps along the way were disappointing. Seeing that the sill plate foam was only around about 40% of the house instead of all the exterior walls, while the roll laid around in the dirt for weeks after partial installation. Sales guy said the gaps would be filled with caulk, but upon my inspection during construction I found many gaps where it was stuck to the wood but not the slab, it was remedied. I was told the house would be below a 2ACH, but it tested around 2.5 instead. 1 wall switch was placed in the far side of a nook between the living room and bedroom, instead of near the door ...

I have avoided doing this review because my experience with buying my home had a few bad experiences for me. Although I love the final product there were several things the sales person neglected to inform me about. The two major items were the lot he put me on and the designer upgrades he did not explain in full detail. It made me feel that because I was a female he felt he could get things past me, which he did. I would appreciate that my review not be published. Thank you.

The buying experience was great! Our salesman was great! Our builder was great! Our customer service person was great! The issues started after we moved in. There were minor issues and unfortunately our on-site customer service person was on vacation; the person filling in did not provide the same customer service that we received from our team and what we've come to expect from Beazer. He had no sense of urgency about our concerns. Ryan needs to take lessons from Vito, Dave and Jim.

Warranty service is slow.

The customer service representative has taken my warranty claims and submitted them to the responsible contractors. Some of the claims have been outstanding for close to 2 months. I hold the contractors responsible for the delays in making the needed repairs. The customer service representative has contacted the contractors and is as frustrated as I am. He has fixed a couple of the items and the rest can only be repaired by the contractors.

When doing my final walkthrough, I notice small ants in the home. I mentioned it to advisor of the walkthrough and he told that I had to get the exterminator. That just put a bad taste in my mouth, that he was so unconcerned.

Beautiful and quality home, typical home buying experience

The final product is fantastic! Love my new home. The buying process was typical though. Our house was delayed 3 months and while it was expected with all the supply problems, we were hardly notified. We were talked down to when we asked questions as if we should know the answer. Once we were able to move in, they seemed to wipe their hands clean and move on to the next house. I’ve put in a warranty request form for a number of items and after the first week and haven’t heard anything since. I’ve heard this same thing about other builders but was hoping Beazer would be more professional.

The initial application process was great and I was kept up to date with the progress of the building. However, there were certain things I was not made aware of and which I was upset to find out later. I have spent over $12000 prior to and after moving in, to do certain upgrades that I would have liked to be given the option at the onset. I have had to install back splash tiles on the kitchen wall, long kitchen sink faucet, under cabinet rolling trash collector, hang additional lights, towel hangers in the bathroom, moving the wall sockets up to accommodate TVs to be hanged and installing a ...

Initially, the visit to the model homes were a great experience. The agent for Beazer and models was open and professional. We made an offer on a completed model home and it was accepted by Beazer. Once we moved into the initial process to complete purchase, earnest money, lender approval, and escrow, there was little contact with Beazer. Once under contract and walk through was started, Beazer CCR called for intial contact. Since it was a model, there was a "Pricing Addendum Worksheet" given to us detailing the upgrades installed in the model. No one went over the worksheet with us so we ...

Start up for us a as pretty good. We were relocating from another state and selling our home. They waited for us to close on our home to pay the down payment. We thought that was awesome and asked if it would delay our projected finish date … they assured us it wouldn’t but turn out it was delayed. Communication wasn’t the greatest. We constantly had to be fishing for updates and were only informed we would get the home a whole month after the initial estimate date when WE asked about it. As the checkpoints went through we got the very rare picture update but nothing detailed. Some of our ...
