Nice layout, disappointing experience...

While the layout of the home is beautiful, the quality of work is poor. The building process left us feeling exhausted, like less of a client and more of a checkbook. Client care could seriously be improved, cheap labor could be replaced by quality craftsmen, and contractors need to learn a thing or two about their own profession. We unfortunately frequently felt deceived, and like we honestly should have been paid to do the job since we ended up being the ones who had to manage everyone at the end of the day. Happy to have a new home even with the poor quality craftsmanship, but very very ...

Got cracks in concrete drive way within few days and faced few other quality issues. Good thing is customer support post closing or warranty period.

There were unexplained delays, and communication was very poor. I had 4-5 project managers during the building process, so continuity was lacking. The finished house is nice on the inside, and so far, I’m pleased with the quality.

Beazer Homes responded:

We appreciate you providing this feedback and hope for the opportunity to improve your experience moving forward. Bad buy

Dont know if its a good or bad decision to buy a townhome with Beazer. It all started with the signing of the initial documents, and the sales representatives were so rude that they do not care if you buy the home or not and they take advantage of the current sellers market. . Beazer do not care for their customers or hear their concerns. The quality of the project is so poor that on the first day of stepping into the house we got our downstairs flooded because of the construction debris that clogged the sewer system as it was not properly tested/inspected, and the water damaged 50% of our ...

The quality of the workmanship is very poor. I wish I had done more research on Beazer before I bought my house, The quality of the workmanship on the doors, trim and windows is the equivalent of a cheap apartment build. My house is brand new but it looks like it is a couple of years old because of the poor quality of interior workmanship. I am actually embarrassed to have people come to see my new home.

Beazer Homes responded:
We strive to deliver a high-quality home that is built to last and that our homeowners can be proud of. What you have described is not how we would want any homeowner to feel about their new home. Worst home buying experience

I have bought several homes before including two new homes. But buying home from Beazer is the worst experience I have had. They rushed to build the homes with many problems including cracked sink and cracked tub and numerous other issues. The repair was slow and and I have to check with them multiple times to get it resolved. One repair issue was communicated almost two months ago and still didn't get resolved. I regret deeply buying home from Beazer Homes.! This is one of the biggest mistakes in my life.

Beazer Homes responded:
We’re truly sorry to hear that your homebuying experience has been frustrating and that some of your repairs have taken longer than expected. That’s not the experience we work to provide, and we understand how disappointing it can be when expectations are not met, especially with such an important purchase. We would appreciate the opportunity to look into this further and support you. If you’re willing, please contact our New Home Contact Center so we can review any open cases and assist in any way we can. Our team can be reached at 888-623-2937. We look forward to hearing from you and to helping make things right. ...

We had so many issues with our home during the build process, at the end nearing closing, and afterward, and it was as if no one was watching and no one really cared. Like asking for things to be correct was a burden instead of quality work being a point of pride. When issues were raised, we were ignored for several weeks and several emails, and then when we brought up the lack of communication and dismissiveness, we were treated like we were hysterical and obnoxious for expecting professionalism. We have had 3 new construction homes before, and never had such an awful experience in our ...

Beazer Homes responded:
I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience. It’s disheartening to know that we didn’t meet the expectations or provide the level of service we strive for as a company, which you deserve to receive throughout the build process and beyond. We strive to deliver exceptional quality and service, and it’s clear we fell short in your case. This very important feedback will help ensure that we continue to improve as a ...

Feeling Trapped

I will limit my comments here; (1) I was not aware until I read the fine print that Model homes represent prototypes or ideas, and necessarily the home that will be built for you. (2) Read section 9 of the contract -- very important -- I only skimmed it and it cost me. (3) Always ask for in writing a copy of the plat map of the lot you are purchasing; I asked many times but only received the actual lot map at closing. This came back to bite me. (4) I constantly felt at odds with the company, as in; the company wins and you the customer lose situation. This seems odd to me, ...

Closing process is horrible. Especially the closing agent. They never call you. Just send emails and after you go to your closing on the set date and time, they tell you it's delayed. Even some of the jobs were not complete prior to closing till date. I was supposed to buy another rental property but decided not to go with Beazer homes anymore. I think they lack coordination and proper execution. Horrible experience.

Beazer Homes responded:
Ramesh, your feedback is appreciated and will be shared with our leadership team. We would like the opportunity to address your concerns and work towards providing you with a better overall experience with Beazer Homes. Poor quality, unethical sales team

Starting from foundation, everything used in construction was poor quality. All vendors (plumbing, electrician, painter, construction) were cheapest possible who does not do work properly. Leaks, and mold in new home. They cut the corners even to save penny. I would not buy again from Beazers when it is charging top dollars. Sales team does not stand up to the mark once contract is signed. They try to steal all promised credits, and run away from resolving any issue. They keep threatening customers with penalty if house is not closed on set date by them. Few Beazer personnels are good but ...
