Working with Beazer was a great experience and we’re very happy with our new home

I was in need for a move in ready home, I knew a townhome was what I wanted, needed to downsize. Saw duets in Townlake & compared to other builders Beazer offered more/checked off more of my boxes. The customer service from my initial walk in the model home was what set Beazer apart immediately. Tiffany was busy with a customer but made me feel seen, she acknowledged me right away & checked in ensuring she would be right with me. The communication throughout the process was timely & working with the builder (Josh) was a very good experience as well. He was very attentive & followed up quickly on all my questions, after closing he still remained available to assist as applicable. Beazer needs to better select sub-contractors. Too much sloppy work that needed to be corrected. Should have been addressed AND NOT TOLERATED by management in real time

Overall the experience wasn’t terrible, but there were so MANY issues and problems that it made the experience unpleasant. It wasn’t one terrible issue, but rather several small issues constantly. The quality of the finished home also didn’t match what I felt I paid for.

Many steps along the way were disappointing. Seeing that the sill plate foam was only around about 40% of the house instead of all the exterior walls, while the roll laid around in the dirt for weeks after partial installation. Sales guy said the gaps would be filled with caulk, but upon my inspection during construction I found many gaps where it was stuck to the wood but not the slab, it was remedied. I was told the house would be below a 2ACH, but it tested around 2.5 instead. 1 wall switch was placed in the far side of a nook between the living room and bedroom, instead of near the door and doorway where it would actually be utilized. A 10000 hour light burned out after about 8 hours on, it was replaced. ... More

The Beazer team I was working with had amazing communication with me through the entire process. Truly went out of their way to make sure I was accommodated. Even after property was closed, super fast response times to repairs. Quality of the home is next level!!! Thank you Kierstyn for amazing 5 start service.

We worked with Angela Yarbrough. She was very responsive on all our queries. The community is very nice and quiet. So far we love our stay here. I will not hesitate to recommend this community.

Our original home counselor was let go shortly after our buy which led to a few issues with our deal. For the most part they were worked out to the best of our local Beezer contacts' ability. When doing a corporate build, my best advice is to go slow as there is not much flexibility to make changes. Shoutout to Phil!! Thanks Much!!

The overall buying and building experience was great. However, their choice lenders should be vented more. Our original loan officer with Embrace had the worst customer service and communication skills. We were locked at one rate; however the loan officer unlocked our loan to lock it higher 3 weeks prior to close. We had to escalate our file to another loan officer with Embrace for him to attempt to lock us back at the original rate. He was only able to get us a temp buydown. To have a military family stressed out 3 weeks prior to closing is unacceptable.

I am very satisficed w/Beazer home particularly after occupying the home. My choice is correct and accurate choosing Beazer home as my option. The house construction quality is great. The floor plan marvelous , The Construction Engineer Gregg Horton ( Lakewood Hills) has ensured the best outcome an highly responsive to address the customer requests. Even sales (Sanjeev) and maintenance team is very responsible for customer queries and addressing their needs. I would say I am lucky to get a better quality, better floor plan, better warranty support /service at Beazer.

My Experience with Beazer homes was a great one. The whole process from beginning to end was amazing. Communication throughout the whole process was very good. The Builder Sam was unbelievable, she helped with any need or question I may have had. She definitely went above and beyond what I have seen from other builders. Would definitely recommend Beazer to anyone looking to purchase a new home.

Great experience purchasing a home with Beazer. We received pictures and updates weekly and always received responses to our questions quickly. Paul was great with the walk thru portion and didn't hesitate to fix anything we pointed out before our final inspection. The house is beautiful!

It’s great to be in our custom home! The house wasn’t perfect when we first moved in, but what is? Super D worked with us regularly to make things right. He goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy in our new community.

My husband and I moved to Maryland towards the end of August 2022. We were looking to buy a house or townhouse in Maryland, mostly looking for properties in Howard County. We spent many months without success. When we noticed the new Beazer townhomes located in Hanover, Maryland (The Ridge Community), we went there at the community and looked at the design (from outside) and the community/neighborhood. We liked it. Then, we went ahead and made an appointment to visit model homes as well as to learn more. The Beazer sales representative who worked with us (Matt) gave us a tour and provided detailed information related to the community, available model townhomes, approximate price, time of completion, etc. Matt is very knowledgeable, resourceful, and friendly to work with. We learned a lot from him. Thank you so much Matt. This was towards mid-February 2023. By end of February 2023, we signed a contract and became potential owners of a Potomac model Beazer townhome. Again, with help from Matt we were able to connect with Beazer Choice Lenders and got approved within a couple of weeks. We approached three of the four choice lenders, and we selected one – all of them have great customer service by the way. We were so happy! Then, time comes for visitation for the progress of our future townhome. During this phase (for about three months – March to May), Matt continued to assist us in answering any questions we had and scheduling time for us to visit our under-construction townhome including for inspection times. During the time construction was underway through completion of the construction including the final walkthrough, we were working with Paul. Paul was there in person or via phone almost all the time to answer our questions. Paul is very professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about his work/responsibilities. Paul is always timely, cooperative (within permitted scope), resourceful, and willing to assist when possible and as needed. Overall, we are very happy and satisfied with our experience with Beazer – The Ridge Community. We also had the opportunity to talk to The Ridges Association representatives a couple of times and they all have good customer service. We are happy that we are part of Beazer-The Ridge Community thanks to those who helped us achieve our dream goal – especially to Matt and Paul!!! ... More

Customer Service fell off drastically the last 6 too 8 weeks before closing. The change of assignment to Beazer staff did not provide the Customer Service we expected. It also affected the quality of work on the home.

Sale person was very good to help me to understand what is going on with house and he tired. However, there were several issues with the house to fix and had hard time to fix couple issues that I had with house.

While the home buying process was easy the home itself could be better. A lot of cheap materials were used for a house at this price point. For instance the garage door is super flimsy, the faucets and light fixtures are cheap. For the amount of money to upgrade these items would not cost Beazer much money and would have made for a better experience and a happier customer. Everything shouldn't be an upgrade. My question is the products used the same stuff the leadership at Beazer has in their homes and would you want it in your home. I understand these aren't million dollar homes but they are also not $100,000 homes either. Do better! ... More
