I gave it a 4 star because I live my house. However the privacy fencing around the community was poorly built. We have foxes crawling under the “privacy fence” that was built. I have personally seen people crawling under those fences during night time trespassing. I do not feel safe in my house even with all my security system.

The homebuying process was rough but beezer helped us through. My largest complaint is being unable to pick the floorplan we wanted and had to settle for a bathroom layout that was not our 1st choice. Joe has helped us address any lingering issues when we moved in and we are grateful for that.

Working with Sales team was great, Timely updates about the progress was very helpful. Builder was super helpful throughout the construction process with answering all of the queries and extended their best support. Beazer homes could have been little flexible and accommodative with atleast some of the minor design change requests. At the end Its all about timing, Supply and Demand but currently the same homes are offered with more flexibility and design options.

I would say that the buying experience was excellent. Customer service was excellent but the communication about the progress of the home was not so good but that's over now. Now that we're in the home we're having difficulty getting some of the things attended to on the punch list like some of the AC issues plumbing geese etc. That's disappointing because it feels like once we've given them the money then they're gone. This seems to be a common complaint among many of my neighbors as well. So we're hoping we can get these issues attended to in a timely manner and move on with enjoying ...

I had a great salesperson, Shannon. Very helpful when issues came up during the building process. I'm a bit disappointed that issues noted on my punch list during my final walk thru have not been completed. The AC has been an issue since the day I moved in. Downstairs is cool, but upstairs is miserably hot. A two tiered AC system would have remedied this issue. Its definitely a design flaw. Marie did a great job helping us through the process of buying our home. However, once we closed it has been a bit of a nightmare to get things fixed. It took 5 week to get some electric completed, trash was left above the cabinets in the kitchen, plants need to be replaced and that is taking a lot of time. There doesn't seem to be much accountability or proaction on anyone's part. The customer has to chase people down to get things done. Not a great experience.

not enough updates

For the most part things went fairly smooth. There were some pretty big mess ups in the beginning but they were corrected quickly. Waited a long time (2 months) for windows but that wasn't the builders fault. The trim paint is pretty sloppy but other than that i did get a beautiful home.

Josh (Building manager) , was very attentive to our needs and questions. He was always available. The loan process was another story I would not recommend Ben Loan officer or the preferred lender. I never had conversation about rate, process or anything with him, would take forever to get any response from him or the operations team. The title company was Great and always answered and were very friendly. The design center team was Awesome also and very honest and upfront. Overall a good experience minus the lender.

Overall you will get a nicely built home. The foam installation really helps and there are great options and plans. It's a journey and nothing is perfect but Beazer will do what they can and take care of everything. Jason, Rich, Jacob and Danielle were great

Had a good experience with Builders and office team. Weekly updates on Construction progress and answering all questions was good. Work was completed with the given date but finishing on cement flooring/wood trim and painting was not good because of lack of experienced labors.

The home completion seemed rushed. There were several areas of paint touch-up after I closed and moved into my home. There were several spots on my flooring downstairs which are still stained with paint. Although I marked several spots during my official walkthrough they were either untouched or the blue tape was just left, so I took it upon myself to remove it. Beazer Home builder for Erwin Farms really do care about their home buyers. For many who are new to the area, there's many codes and process(s) that are involved in building a home more than ever for the City of McKinney which I think is great. If you don't have patients for things to change or take longer than anticipated it might not be for you. I would share that we enjoyed the experience, we learned a lot both good and bad. For the new buyer, do your research, and it's not just the home but the community as well.
