We had a great experience from start to finish with everyone we came in contact with. Folks were extremely helpful with selection of everything inside and outside our home. The neighborhood is great and we are looking forward to spending our retirement years in the Estuary. If there was one thing that I would suggest be done differently; all the punch list items should be taken care of before settlement.

I feel that they knew I was moving in and at the last minute just threw stuff together. Have had several issues which some have been taken care of. Had trouble with my water heater and they had the plumber come out. If someone represents a company they should have a card with their name on it. You may know who they are, but I don't. Am not new to moving as we have moved 10 times and built 3 custom homes. Grant it this is not a CUSTOM hone, but it is my home and one I hope to enjoy. Construction is not good. I seen few issues with flooring and kitchen cabinets. I heard lot of wind sound on windy days.

My oven door is broken as well as my dishwasher door. I was told I couldn’t have a new appliances “it would remove the warranty “ because the appliance was associated with my house .? Seriously? We were happy to purchase our second new home together in the beautiful Willowsford neighborhood in Aldie. We love the Brightons floor plan and it is perfect for our needs. However after a month of living there, we have found quality issues in the plumbing system and also the granite as well as the quality of the light fixtures. The high-end kitchen and butlers pantry area have granite counter tops. Overall, the house is OK; however, there was a lack of attention to details. In particular, the paint job was sloppy -- where there unpainted areas and paint spots on the floors and stairs. Another issue we had was missing stone work on the garage, which left parts of the garage exposed to the outside.

I have heard great things about Beazer homes and am excited to be a part of the community now. I must say that I have not started off as I had expected. In the last three weeks I have had no heat- No hot water- I still have no heat down stairs. My toilet has already backed up twice. The door stop for the front door broke and I have a dent in my wall. When I am in my bathroom I can hear my neighbors talking, moving around. Overall our home is very nice, but I feel like it was not finished out well. The trim/caulk/paint are shoddy at best and it feels like the guys finishing the house rushed as much as possible. We had issues with things not being hung straight even after multiple attempts to hang them.

My husband and I recently purchased/ built our home with Beazer. We love our home but unfortunately it has not been the best experience. Our realtor was great and very helpful since day one. Our home was not ready when we closed and is still pending a few items after being here for almost two months. It's quite annoying still having blue tape on our cabinets. Our heat did not work, our dishwasher does not work and we did our final walk through the day of our closing since it was not complete the Monday prior.

My husband and I are first time home buyers. During the process, the builders main point of contact was very hard to reach. At times, information communicated was not precise or clear. During the closing process we felt rushed and felt like they didn’t want to fix all the minor things in the home. When we pointed out changes needed they tried to steer us away from making those changes. We love our home but didn’t like the overall process that we went through.

Overall, I love the new home. However, all building and finishing was done with me living in another state. While most things were handled well, the lawn was not - it's green and growing but so uneven it's extremely difficult to mow - it should have been properly leveled prior to sod being put down.

Keep in mind the old cliché during the whole process of building a home to do your due diligence. Do not rely on much help or detailed advice when choosing extra amenities such as wiring for surround sound or surveillance cameras. Also don't assume your coax cables will be fully complete with necessary end connections attached. Everything is wonderful and my builder Rick was the best. After closing no one cares about you. My floor not fixed and the easements are being taken care of why would I buy a lot next to water if I didn’t want to see it.

There are several reasons for this review starting with bad communication. The sellers agent for beazer promised many things to be standard but when I went to the design studio I was told differently.. alot of confusion but they did infact honor what was promised (only because I had proof of what I was told). When my final walk through date was coming close I told the agent I will be having an inspector come by, This was not communicated with the builder... more confusion. We had to reschedule.
