Had a nice experience with Beazer Homes purchasing new built home. Well informed and co-ordinated. Could be better with the options in Design Studio and they could have suggested more useful option items bit more in detail, so the buyer can understand how important the options are. Overall a good builder :)

Great, fast build! Everyone was really friendly and easy to work with. Scheduling went well about 90% of the time. The only issue we had was that we were not told that a garage door opener did not come standard in the house until we were in our second to last walk through. Otherwise no issues with our home!

I thought the home was very well built and I have nothing to say but good things about construction, but they did not take into consideration the clay soil and appropriately add addition top soil so it would help absorb Water. Excavation and landscaping is horrible. Our property has not dried out since we have taken possession on September 27. I believe additional drainage is needed or it will never dry out.

Happy with the home but not with HOA

Marie was so helpful and super nice. Very patient with us. Always available and happy to help. Very happy with the home and the way everything turned out. However, I have been trying since October to get a hold of our HOA. Absolutely no response from any of my e-mails nor phone calls. I sent in paper work in order to get our Lania approved and today is November 20th and I am still not sure what's the status. I have also discovered that other community members are also unhappy with our HOA. They are experiencing the same issue of no one ever returning calls or e-mails. I'm asking ...

Overall experience was very good with project manager Johnathan. He was responsive and kept us in the loop in everything as it was progressing which was very important to us since we were doing this from out of state. Kathryn has been very timely and responsive on the finishing touches that were needed after closing. Very happy with our home and the area. We’ve recommended to others looking to relocate.

The quality of the house is there. We have not had any issues with the structure of the home or accessories. The only issue is that you can tell they are trying to complete the homes as fast as possible which affects the "little things." For example the dirt around the foundation is caving-in which means they did not establish a quality process to prevent this from happening. There was a focus on building homes and getting them done before the end of Beazer's Fiscal Year. Also a number of neighbors are experiencing the same issue. Our sales and construction managers were great. Helpful and responsive. We love our new community and home, but had a few hiccups during the building process. We were one of the last homes built our development, after the sales office was closed and Beazer had moved their attention to other, newer developments, which made it seem like like the focus on our build was not what it might have been. Would recommend at least weekly visits and reviewing your punch list regularly to be sure no details are overlooked. We love our new Beazer Garden Home. All the staff from Jenny, our sales rep to Matt our walk thru guy, gave us wonderful service. The staff has been on top of any problem we have had, thanks to Rudy, the warranty worker. Only complaint we have is with the management company employed to represent the garden homes. Why do they need a key to my house? To receive a threatening letter about taking me to litigation if a key is not provided seems to me to border-on Gestapo tactics. The experience was over all good. The GC on site was amazing and made sure he got everything done... after move in though I did see things in the quality of craftsmanship that was less then good. Far as paint splattered left behind small things, no deal breakers but it could have definitely been a lot crisper finish.

Initial interaction with salesperson was pleasant and informative. Construction process could be enhanced by affording homebuyer the opportunity to meet with individual subcontractors (as necessary) to ask questions relative to the contractors discipline. This process should continue thru completion with appropriate trade rep present assuring direct communication between buyer and contractor. Project manager would also be aware of buyers concerns. Overall we are happy with our neighborhood selection, and home elevation and plan. There have been many building and design issues that were a complete mess. They were either missed or done poorly. We actually had a pipe that was missing, which caused a leak through our master bedroom ceiling and laundry room ceiling. The drywall and paint has still not been fixed.

We have enjoyed our building experience overall. Some of the issues we had, were eventually addressed to nearly 95% complete. The one or two remaining items are scheduled to be fixed or finished soon. Overall, we like the design models to choose from however we weren't able to change much as we purchased a spec home (design was complete). Beazer did work with us quickly to change the granite and add backsplash. Overall, we are settling in nicely and it does feel like home to us.
