They kept in touch with us since we were 100 miles away

Make sure that you know the quality of the standard products verses the upgrades. and the finishing results of the painting and the windows and the drywall is a little questionable. I just feel that for a home over $330,000 I should see pristine quality finishes. We have already replaced the shower heads and some faucets. We will also need to hire painters to improve the quality of the interior paint. Very disappointed with the end results we were given.

Beazer Homes - My starting experience was good with Beazer.

My starting experience was good with Beazer. The sales team respond to clarify my queries. But sales team need to be more transparent for first time home buyers like what exact things are going to available in new home vs what's not. And there is a gap in communication within Beazer group sales, builder, closing personnel which create issue for customer to run after them. And traders working for builder has a poor workmanship which builder need to take responsibilities not customer.

Beazer Homes responded:
Ipsit, thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns. We missed you today but would like to help in addressing any questions or pending warranty items. At your convenience, we can be reached through our New Home Contact Center at nhcc@beazer.com or (888) 623-2937. - Daniela BeazerHomes

Beazer Homes - In general terms, the house and the floorplans are beautiful.

In general terms, the house and the floorplans are beautiful. But the lack of attention to detail is sad. I received my house with a lot of missing finishes, like cabinets, floors, paint, etc, Yes, the builder is scheduling people to come and fix things, but that is not the ideal way to buy and receive a brand new house! Also, the told me that the amenities and pool would be built in March 2021, it is now May and nothing has been initiated, very disappointed. The community lacks of lighting for the night time, the mailbox is uncovered.

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for letting us know about your experience, Carolina. We understand that touch-ups needed on a new home can be frustrating. The builder is great. Their plans are great. Just that the pandemic has caused a lot of demand and shortage of resources makes it hard. However the buyer still pays the premium and does not make sense delivering homes with a lot of cosmetic issue from damaged doors to improper painting.

They are anxious to get you in the home but not so ambitious to fix things that were pointed out prior to closing

The initial process of getting the home built was actually a good experience and the builders that you work with are friendly, courteous and responsive. However their subcontractors leave a lot to be desired. From using low grade materials in the home to sloppy work and the list goes on from there. We have been in the house now and are still waiting on the builder to complete the work from our punch list prior to closing. Some of the items were pointed out multiple times and the sub contractors merely just pull the tape off the issues and say it is finished. Communication after buying ...

It started off good then things went haywire. From the appliances being stolen, closing date moved a few times, My great interest rate snatched from me, it could have been better, there was just too much going on I believe if John and Todd had stayed on the experience would have been much better as far as customer service goes., but at least I closed better late than never.

I feel for the amount of money spent on the home the construction workers were messy they left gravel everywhere in the street. From the beginning of the process, we had a much different experience with Beazer than we had with previous builders. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. It was an easy, seamless process. Chris and Jeff communicated with us throughout the building and buying process, and we were thrilled. Prior to closing, we met with someone from Beazer’s customer service, and were impressed with her (I can’t remember her name). Then we closed, and were turned over to Phil. I had a fairly nice experience purchasing the home. Everyone was friendly. The reason more stars were not given is because I don't believe the sales office and construction manager communicates very well. Things could have gone smoother. Craftsmanship is construction speed build, hope that explains it. :-P Information after purchase is not completely provided and not so easy to find. The home itself is well built and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Love my home, but it does feel like a constant battle with the Warranty process. After you submit and you have to constantly prove what's wrong for them to come back and just say no. Then when you get a no, they tell you how to fix it that costs the buyer extra money. I would look at how you can make the Warranty process simple especially when you are building homes around someone's finished home.

The purchase process was fantastic.  The sales people were very helpful and knowledgeable. But less than 2 weeks after we got the keys there was water intrusion in the Master Bedroom.  The repairs including mold removal took over 2 weeks done by about 20 people.  This caused delays and massive interuptions to our moving-in plans. Plus there's the nagging fear that there are other damages hiding between the walls.

Multiple pieces of work were completed much after I moved in. During the building process i noticed that many of the studs were cracked all through and the earlier builder (first of 3) told me those would be replaced. I was later told that the cracked studs do not impact the main structure...my question was why put damaged studs, no replacements done. Some of the doors are not aligned correctly, this is quality control The painting job wasn't good, 2 months after moving in i am still noticing color differences. This may be minor to the management, but is poor quality to the end user. If ...
