Overall process was ok but the actual build is not the best quality. A lot of things not done up to expectations. Seems the only thing they were worried about was their 5 star energy rating

We have had many problems with this house, but luckily most appear to be minor. We spoke to lots of our neighbors who seem to have the same issues. We had a crack in the foundation that resulted in a leak within 1 week of moving in. Apparently this happens a lot and fortunately didn't have our basement finished by them so it limited the damage. At this price point you would expect a certain quality. We spend about 50k in additional upgrades. Our quartz counters had huge scratches in it that they buffed out, but now you can see a big area of discrepancy. some of the stainless steel ...

We had a fairly easy experience from start to finish with the purchasing process. The realtors in the Cactus Ridge office went above and beyond to ensure we had answers to every questions we had. All in all, we were very satisfied with the process. Unfortunately, once we got into our home, we have noticed multiple issues with the quality of work that was done. We have received quick response from the warranty team, but to me, an unqualified/non-construction professional, these issues are easy to spot if you are an inspector, and certainly things I wish we had enough time to notice during ...

I like the value for the price paid. I love the layout, location and space. However, been having an extremely difficult time working with Beazer to have my warranty issues worked. I have not had any problems with 90% of the house construction however the doors quality is bad, and getting them to replace them has been a nightmare. This is not my first new home that I have purchased, I understand with new constructions there are always things that will need to get fixed/replaced ect. It should not take me calling over the span of 2 months, getting empty promises of follow ups (never to be ...

I am very thankful for the home in a safe community with good neighbors. The heat unit didn’t work fully for the first two weeks. It is still an ongoing problem with my upstairs unit reading 10 degrees hotter. When I asked the company about the issue the only response I got was, heat rises. Yes I understand heat rises, but for a gas unit it should only be about 3 to 5 degrees, not 10. The HOA manager is non compassionate towards individuals. She tried to compare me wanting the safety of my pets to someone wanting to change out their door or add onto their patio. The drywall is cheap, I can ...

We had a frustrating experience with Beazer Homes during the purchase of our new home. Despite some positive interactions with the construction manager, several issues have left a sour taste. Unresolved Issues 1. Unauthorized changes to contract: A random broker's name was added to our contract without our consent. Beazer then removed their own name and re-added it at closing, which felt deceptive. 2. _Restrictions on customizations_: We were not allowed to make changes to the home, such as paint or carpet upgrades. 3. _Poor yard conditions_: The backyard is prone to flooding, has poor ...

If you are considering buying a Beazer home, you will get a well constructed home. The building supervisor, Colton did a great job at seeing that our home was a quality built home. He addressed our concerns and questions. The appliances in the Beazer homes are below standard unless one upgrades them. House was supposedly finished a month after the initial closing date. While we were doing the final walk through, the house was still being worked on but we had to close that day. We were told not to worry because there was a warranty. Then after closing we were told that the defects, such as scratched cabinets, paint drippings or any other defect isnt covered unless they were on the pre closing list. Carpet strips weren’t installed correctly, which resulted in cutting our feet and we were told to repair it.

I know each person and experience is different, but I can't provide many positive experiences with purchasing a new home with Beazer. I know that in the future I would think twice and look at other builders. Now that I have moved in, I feel they care more about the sale and getting it done rather than making the experience and home good for the buyer. Beazer has very streamlined process. There is nothing much to add considering their magnitude of projects. The main question is the value to your money. It might be very attactive with initial lower costs, but they quickly add up in their upgrades and crazy lot premium costs. Considering the lot sizes they have and the house plans it doesn't make sense to me. They have in built some or almost un noticeable cost cuttings or cheap materials unless you live in the house. On the closing day, Beazer claimed to have deep cleaned the house, but this was clearly untrue as the house hadn't even been properly vacuumed. Since I moved in it’s been one headache after another. After a week and a half of sticking bandaids on things after I moved in the entire hot water heater needed replacing, as well as a breaker and toilet. My lights constantly flicker and my ceiling fan makes noises and wakes me up at night. The service providers Beazer recommends are awful as well.
