Do not trust that appliances will work just because they look new. Run each appliance through a complete cycle (especially washer & dryer) or to maximum capacity, as applicable. Damage to unit between closing and taking possession. Beazer makes it nearly impossible to deal with these issues. So many other complaints, but to be brief, do not expect service after the sale on warranties and other issues. Even though Beazer controls the HOA Board and hired a management firm, they will take no responsibility if there are typical but ignored HOA issues like pest infestation, access to units, ...

I didn’t enjoy my home buying experience because the building of my home was not a great experience for me. I feel that the higher management should check more on the building of the homes so that some of these many mistakes can be alleviated. I was given 4 different Construction managers and I don’t think that helped my process. I would also suggest that if your representative completing the contract doesn’t know anything about how long it will take that they shouldn’t give any of that information. Read the small print. Know that you will not be told everything about your home upfront. It is until after you have signed your papers, closed and moved in that you will find out so many inconsistencies with what the sales person may have told you. And you will then see that you were misled with dishonesty. We only dealt with one sales person, so I cannot speak other than that, but she was overly assertive and more concerned about us selling our home when we needed up waiting on Beazer to actually finish the condo we were purchasing. Initially, the condo was ready in weeks time and turned out 3 months! Their promotion to use their lenders is probably not the best deal in the end, so be aware of that! Just feels like they did a rush job. So many little issues and they all add up. HVAC & Heating system issues after 3 weeks in the home. Not just us but across the entire community. Lead Builder was upset that we had an independent inspector but they found a ton of issues. They have clearly cut the budget for our neighborhood too. What was advertised as lower end luxuary homes has now flipped. Dissapointing in all honesty.

The lenders process was time consuming. Having a bidding war between 3-5 lenders. By the time they run your credit and turn all you information in to 3 different lenders. Having to wait and see who gives you the best numbers. They all want your service but my personal experience was bad. Focused on one lender and close to the end everything changed. False information just not good. So we used a different Lender also from Beazer didn’t meet the closing date ended up paying a lot more for fees. Just horrible.

Bad Experience after Closing

Construction Manager Greg agreed to do some lawn work after closing as the nearby house is not finished yet. But after Closing, it is very hard to reach to him and the warranty people also not taking up any of the work and giving other reasons and states construction manager should have done it already. Also, Construction manager wants the rating for him on the same day as Closing which is horrible. They conveniently have the rating process in their Favor. Beazer should run one more review Rating process 45 days after Closing. Bad Experience Overall

I thought building a home would be better and more rewarding than buying a used home but it’s just a major headache. From the lack of quality work, to customer service after closing is horrible! There are things getting fixed that should’ve been taken care of prior to closing and it’s still ongoing. During closing, a few things were missed that just prove how much these workers do not care (from light fixtures not secured, gashes in the walls, grout and chipped cabinets, lack of paint on doors, paint on hinges, nails all over the backyard, poking through the roof etc.) and the list goes on ...

Bad home buying experience and so much issues

First of all, the sales person Sanjeev did not tell me anything about what was going on with the house I bought. Later I found out there was a person who had contract but did not buy the house. Sanjeev only told me I was not able to make any changes to the house they were building because peleevious potentail buyer picked all the materials he/she wanted. We bought the condo because its new construction and in a good location, but it's not worth it to experience poor service and construction workmanship! First, the sale person Alej was only nice before contract signed, then he continued "threating" me that if i terminate the contract, I will loose my earnest money! Wow, Where do I begin. My wife and I were told by Beazer after purchasing the house to mark areas with painters tape so those areas can be repaired. My wife and I spent 3 hours- TWICE applying tape. After they attempted to make repairs-over half of the issues were not addressed as the tape was still all over the house. We had work order set up through Beazer for a carpenter and an electrician. The maintenance staff was incredible in making sure our home was meeting our needs. GREAT disappointment in that we have been here for 2 months and still do not have a mailbox or working address. I have to fly from Georgia to Seattle to pick up my W-2 forms and tax information. That is a $1,000 out of my pocket. Lipstick on a pig. It looks pretty, however they use cheap subcontractors that do the job quick but not with good quality. I have many things breaking inside the home within 30 days of living. They will reassure you that you have a warranty, but don't be fooled because they send 1 guy to do a 2 person job, with multiple trips, who will damage and ding up the rest of your stuff while fixing what was originally broken. I dont have trust in the home quality.

I don't think i would recommend Beazer homes given we had so many issues with the building process, getting anyone to help and listen to us. Now we are living in a house that has countless issues and cosmetic problems. plus a sagging ceiling with more drywall in the kitchen that is folding and creasing. Just terrible quality. The paint job on the whole house is so poor.

This home was poorly built and was lazily finished, so many spots missing caulk and paint. Hard to get a hold of anyone to get it fixed. My bathroom mirror was installed incorrectly and randomly came crashing down one day, luckily my pets weren’t in there.
