The one negative thing we did not like about dealing with Beazer was their total lack of willingness to make changes that were not on their options list. I asked for a hot water stub out behind a toilet, "we don't do that". Well what about an electrical outlet behind the toilet, "we don't do that". We don't like the three interior paint colors, how about if we buy the same exact paint you use just a different color and your painters apply it, "we don't do that". I haven’t been able to meet my warranty contact. Fixes around the house I’ll still pending three months after I moved in. Needs to have a better turnaround time in taking care of a new homebuyers. Thank you

Took too long to do the punch lists

make sure you have everything done before closing. They did 2 walk thrus, and none of the punch list items were done on the day of closing. it got delayed another week, and then on the 2 scheduled closing, it still was not done. we had to move forward and get them done after the fact. very stressful

Double check all workmanship and push if something needs corrected. Really check. Everything seemed OK from normal inspecting but once we moved into the house we noticed a lot a little things that could have been done a lot better. For the most part they did a good enough decent job but for the overall price they could’ve done better

Shannon was wonderful and made the buying experience easy. She was a joy to work with. Tim kept me informed on the building process. He and John were very responsive with my issues after I moved in. My only complaint was with some of the trades that installed defective materials and had to come back to fix and/or replace. It was a waste of time and materials when why put in something defective and walk away only to have to come back. It took up Tim and John’s time to have to deal with these issues but they always responded quickly and with a smile. Now Whirlpool is another issue. They should ...

Energy Efficient and Open Floor Plan

We really enjoyed viewing the model home. Being able to have a 2 story home with 10ft ceilings gave a very open feel. Overall seeing how energy efficient the home could be was also a plus, especially in Texas heat. I would highly recommend Beazer Homes, we had a great experience overall!

Overall I am happy with Beazer Homes. The home was not really ready for a walk thru when I had it. Also, some of the things that needed attention should have been done and thoroughly checked before move in.

Earnest money deposit requirement should be disclosed at earliest buyer interest and showing. Other builders do not require this I am told. Although I had this covered, it impacted my overall budget for funds needed for moving and logistics.

As the home was being built, we got frequent progress reports and pictures of the construction stages the house was undergoing right up to the pre purchase walk through. Based on the owners inspection and observations, any functional and all anomalies in craftsmanship were noted. Actions were taken to correct the items prior to the final owner's walkdown prior to closing. The process and the corrective actions were timely and comprehensive.

This builder will get things done even when you close. The only problem is when you claim a warranty it will take weeks to a month to get things done. I just hope they change that and I will give this builder 5 stars.

We had a great experience with Beazer. They were helpful and didn’t try to sell us things we didn’t need. There were some construction delays but that is likely due to things out of their control (pandemic delays etc).

The home itself seems to be very well built and Beazer provides up to date pictures each week during the building process. We were given two on site walk thrus and every detail was clearly explained. They include a one year guarantee from front to back and if anything goes wrong they fix it. Good choice of floor plans and Beazer home offices were staffed with competent employees.

This is my second new home built by Beazer. We had a very good buying experience the first time. We have been happy with all aspects of the home buying experience ... up until the end. The interior, paint-related finish work was atrocious. Beazer did try to rectify the issues, and to a great extent did. However, to some degree, the damage was done. Do NOT pay Beazer for a premium paint. It is NOT worth it.
