I cannot say I'd do this experience again. The best part was at the design center with Cari B. But I went through two sales consultants and three construction managers from purchase agreement to completion. Brian E., who handled most of the construction, was a loss and it was a great thing when he quit. He never walked the property or addressed concerns which is why I have an untrue wall in my entry and my electrical meter was installed on the wrong side of the home which caused a significant construction delay. Introduction and subsequent showings; help and suggestions about the economic benefits of owning one of Beazer’s condos and price negotiations were all excellent. Our Realtor and Beazer’s Sales Representative, Angela, worked well together, and the incentives were adequate to influence our decision to buy. It was a stressful experience. The builders took a lot of short cuts. The house looks pretty for the most part, but a lot of my concerns have not been addressed, and I have been in my home for seven weeks. They cannot deviate from the build at all because they are a national builder.

We purchased a new home but many things were not right on the celebration walk. We’ve been in the home for two months now and are still dealing with taking time off work for contractors to make everything right - as it should have been when I moved in. Just noticed today that most of the windows look like they have mold in them and the seals are all cut up or pinched. Ugh.

Hot water issue is HUGE

First, the home is comfortable and well made, and pleasing to the eyes. My major complaint is that hot water takes a full 2+ minutes to reach any sink. That is 10 minutes a day standing and waiting while 50 gallons of water a day go down the drain. We tried a hot water recirculating pump but it didn't work, so we were forced to install 3 under sink small water heaters in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. That is a HUGE DESIGN FLAW that cost us $1800 to remedy. The yard is a bit TOO small, would prefer 50 X 50 and not 40 X 40 back yards. Overall the experience wasn’t terrible, but there were so MANY issues and problems that it made the experience unpleasant. It wasn’t one terrible issue, but rather several small issues constantly. The quality of the finished home also didn’t match what I felt I paid for.

Over promised and barely delivered.

Many steps along the way were disappointing. Seeing that the sill plate foam was only around about 40% of the house instead of all the exterior walls, while the roll laid around in the dirt for weeks after partial installation. Sales guy said the gaps would be filled with caulk, but upon my inspection during construction I found many gaps where it was stuck to the wood but not the slab, it was remedied. I was told the house would be below a 2ACH, but it tested around 2.5 instead. 1 wall switch was placed in the far side of a nook between the living room and bedroom, instead of near the door ...

Customer Service fell off drastically the last 6 too 8 weeks before closing. The change of assignment to Beazer staff did not provide the Customer Service we expected. It also affected the quality of work on the home.

Our salesperson was wonderful. We have been in our house for over 30 days and things still are not fixed. We have a switch issue with garage lights, incorrect tile in the middle of the bathroom floor, black silt fence is half falling down (our home is the only home with the silt on our side of the street, the grass is 12 inches high between our fence and the silt) and the back of our home looks trashy. I made a mistake of not adding every issue I found during the walk through in the exception list. The construction manager didn't fix more than 50% of the issues I had verbally told. It's a hassle to chase them once you close so make sure you get everything fixed before closing. Although the warranty manager is good but I think I made the mistake of trusting construction manager. I also don't think that the construction process should have taken this long. I have avoided doing this review because my experience with buying my home had a few bad experiences for me. Although I love the final product there were several things the sales person neglected to inform me about. The two major items were the lot he put me on and the designer upgrades he did not explain in full detail. when we came the first time to see the model home one thing, the mention was the quality of finishing. was superior from other companies. but when we moved, we found out a lot of issues. the first issue was the AC was not cooling enough need to rum almost 24/7, second issue was a leak in the ceiling not to mention this house id two storage units. the third issue was cool air coming out of the walls also some hosebit outside is clogged. and other minus issue.

I have found the experience frustrating. I was rushed to close and had issuers that needed to be fixed and addressed that I am still dealing with. I have to call repeatedly to get a response. When we met I got reassured things would be addressed and fixed but it’s been 11 days and I have heard nothing. I do not feel comfortable so far. Maybe it will improve but I would not close until things are done right.

The buying experience was great! Our salesman was great! Our builder was great! Our customer service person was great! The issues started after we moved in. There were minor issues and unfortunately our on-site customer service person was on vacation; the person filling in did not provide the same customer service that we received from our team and what we've come to expect from Beazer. He had no sense of urgency about our concerns. Ryan needs to take lessons from Vito, Dave and Jim.

1st off I love my house & neighborhood! It would have been nice to know up front of new home issues (bugs to work out)! I had no idea that 2 months later we would still be sorting out issues…a few are the builders fault but for the most part it’s just new home issues & building houses to fast & no attention to details!

We had very high expectations for Beazer Homes especially for their build quality, but are very disappointed with the quality of the house, as we are noticing many issues with the build, and a very poor response from the construction manager. For example, I was charged full price for my kitchen but still have some issues, as equal I still have issues with the color of the stairs they did painted as they wish no mine, and few more details that I will need at least one page to escribe all the issues.
