After 30 days of closing, the plumbing has backed up twice in my unit and the neighbors. They have to pull up the concrete to try to find the problem. Bathroom floors have to be pulled up afterwards and redone. The wood fence separating the neighborhood from neighboring housing area keeps getting kicked in by those looking for a shortcut to the local plaza. Not only do you have to pay ($60) for your own key fob for entrance Gate Access after closing, but it doesn't always work for guest using the key pad. The numbers won't dial the homeowner. So if you leave your Fob, you will have to ...

Overall I would not recommend Beazer homes. While our builder was good to work with and was very attentive, the craftsmanship is lacking in many areas and it is obvious Beazer cuts corners with small things. Doors are hung crookedly, cabinet doors are uneven, small nicks in the sheet rock are evident, and there were several items left over after we bought that took several weeks to fix. We are also already on our third warranty request within 3 months. It is evident that once you sign a contract with Beazer their effort goes out the door and they are slow to fix things that they agree to ...

We have had many issues in our new home, some of which we are still waiting on being resolved. This whole process of moving into a brand new home you might as well get used to the idea that it's not going to be perfect. Everyone has issues with there new homes, but we have had more issues than anybody should have in a new house. Siding issues, plumbing issues, drywall issues, flooring installed poorly, dishwasher not hooked up from builder, windows hard to open even after repair, air conditioning issues on first floor, sewage backup after 1 month, and on and on. We bought a home that the builder built with no buyer. They chose all of the options and lot. While we love the floor plan and the options, the workers attention to detail is definitely lacking. Things like the bathroom lights not covering the holes in the wall, paint splattered all over our hardwood floor, nicks and dings everywhere. Stay on top of them!

In response to this survey I do have items that were being addressed by warranty claim It seems that the follow up is laxidasical as the 10 day inspection was initiated by me after 20 days Promised items aren't on time and usually require multiple calls to remind them, filter, hose, sprinkler, wood plugs for steps, etc. The items that were deficient are the drywall , Lot of cracking in the ceiling and multiple joints The garbage disposal did not have electric cord, windows, door adjustments The same goes for the 45 day inspection...Have yet to hear from Joe Warranty or anyone else

The homes are beautiful, but it’s a shame of how little regard goes into the construction process! We have moved into our new home after the final walk through, and found many imperfections in the final outcome. You really need a good final inspector to oversee your construction before the final walk through! Now that we are moved in, we have found too many errors and lack of oversight on craftsmanship and this is very unfortunate. I use to do this for David Weekly years ago and the builder was satisfied with my work and it should be applied to all your new homes!

Poor Home Building Experience with Beazer

I would not build with Beazer again. I had a bad experience dealing with the sales office where the sales manager stated that they would match a price drop in backlog sales. The amount was much smaller than what was promised. The builder was not flexible at all on the home construction. Little things like the height of a fire place mantle or length of the fence was not customizable. I'm still having ongoing issues with punch items identified in walk through that have just been finished, approximately 3 months after I closed. I constantly have the builders' construction vehicles run over my ...

We enjoyed working with Beazer Homes on our new home - the people we dealt with were wonderful. However, we moved in February 20 and have already had the HVAC and electrician out to repair/replace parts of the system. The paint job throughout the house is horrendous, there's a literal river running beside our home from a terrible drainage system, and the stain on our stairs is a nightmare. We love our floorplan, we love our neighborhood, and we've loved the Beazer people - but the actual construction details leave a LOT to be desired. We closed on our new Beazer home on December 31. It has been nearly two (2) months since we closed on our home and we still have a punch list with 15+ items that need to be addressed... from painting to floor fixes to stained grout in our bathrooms. The overall home construction seems to be good, but the attention to detail, quality of work, and respect for the new homeowners by the trades (i.e., painters, drywall, framers, etc.) is badly lacking. Beautiful home, lot less quality product than expected

All looks good before closing, then you find that you have a lake on each side of the home, your electrical box is not working, chipping tiles, cheap pavers. These are things that eventually will cost a lot of money to replace in the long run. The homeowner should expect to re-do all flooring, outside paint, pavers electric box and much more in less than most newly built homes. Very disappointing - great service from the field but the horrible product in general. If they could have found any other way to save money they would have.

My punch list was not completed because sub-contractors did not cooperate despite the best efforts of the Beazer supervisor. So, I still have grout and paint spots all over my tile floors and my granite counter top is not anchored properly and has rough spots on the underside that fray clothing. My back yard was left full of debris from construction, so we are constantly cleaning it up and finding nails, etc. The interior walls were painted with one coat of flat paint, so anytime we even just touch it there is a spot and if we try to clean it the paint comes off and leaves a bare spot. Very poor quality workmanship. Seems to be a crew of day laborers changing weekly. Inferior wood trim, drywall finishing, door hanging, finish work.and on and on. Have called many things in to fix already, and more to come. Sound proofing is non existent, you can hear from one end of the home to the other. This home is on par of a Walmart purchase. The initial phase of purchasing the home was very easy and pleasant. But once the contract was signed, it was a totally different experience. Before we signed the documents, we were assured on closing around our desired time frame as we were moving from another state. Well the closing was six weeks late and it took getting the VPs of construction and sales involved. The floor plan (Summerset) is fantastic and fits our family to a tee.
