Responsive and propmpt

Our sales and construction managers were great. Helpful and responsive. We love our new community and home, but had a few hiccups during the building process. We were one of the last homes built our development, after the sales office was closed and Beazer had moved their attention to other, newer developments, which made it seem like like the focus on our build was not what it might have been. Would recommend at least weekly visits and reviewing your punch list regularly to be sure no details are overlooked. We discovered small things, like the wrong shape sink in the guest bath, wrong color fan in the living room, no fan remotes. Not big things, easily fixed, but attention needs to be paid. ... More

We love our new Beazer Garden Home. All the staff from Jenny, our sales rep to Matt our walk thru guy, gave us wonderful service. The staff has been on top of any problem we have had, thanks to Rudy, the warranty worker. Only complaint we have is with the management company employed to represent the garden homes. Why do they need a key to my house? To receive a threatening letter about taking me to litigation if a key is not provided seems to me to border-on Gestapo tactics. Why does FSR need emergency access to our homes? Their office is in Murrells Inlet. By the time a key would be delivered here, the emergency would be over. So why does FSR need a key?It took 3 weeks to have a trash can delivered. Multiple phone calls were not returned. We went to the Murrells Inlet office and the representative couldn’t be bothered to come out to greet us. Beazer Homes are great ,but beware of the management company they employ. ... More

Do not Settle until House is ready

Seems like a nice cozy community. Hoping the association keeps it nice and respects all residents

The experience was over all good. The GC on site was amazing and made sure he got everything done... after move in though I did see things in the quality of craftsmanship that was less then good. Far as paint splattered left behind small things, no deal breakers but it could have definitely been a lot crisper finish.

Initial interaction with salesperson was pleasant and informative. Construction process could be enhanced by affording homebuyer the opportunity to meet with individual subcontractors (as necessary) to ask questions relative to the contractors discipline. This process should continue thru completion with appropriate trade rep present assuring direct communication between buyer and contractor. Project manager would also be aware of buyers concerns. Design/layout suited us well. Basics are limited and options are pricey. Home appears to be well built, hopefully time doesn't paint a different picture. All our concerns were addressed. Some timely, some not so much. As with any major purchase, buyers needs to do some home work, and educate themselves to insure the finished product is worth the investment. ... More

Overall we are happy with our neighborhood selection, and home elevation and plan. There have been many building and design issues that were a complete mess. They were either missed or done poorly. We actually had a pipe that was missing, which caused a leak through our master bedroom ceiling and laundry room ceiling. The drywall and paint has still not been fixed.

Prompt communications and easy transactions Throughout the whole buying process.

We have enjoyed our building experience overall. Some of the issues we had, were eventually addressed to nearly 95% complete. The one or two remaining items are scheduled to be fixed or finished soon. Overall, we like the design models to choose from however we weren't able to change much as we purchased a spec home (design was complete). Beazer did work with us quickly to change the granite and add backsplash. Overall, we are settling in nicely and it does feel like home to us.

Although we felt rushed at times I would still have to say that our buying experience with Beazer Homes has been Top Notch! The Sales team was a pleasure a to work with. Chris our sales consultant did a fantastic job in putting our deal together and making sure that all of problems / concerns where answered in a timely fashion. Mark the building supervisor has also done a fantastic job in answering and fixing and problems that we have noticed during and after our walk-thru. Buying our first home from Beazer went well for the most part, but we did have some bumps in the road. The thing I’d say that could’ve been better in terms of actually buying the home, not the home itself, would be wait times. Something would come up & we’d have questions, but we had to wait usually two days before we heard anything back & usually it was an email & not over the phone. Email was a lot quicker, but some things you need to be able to talk about over the phone. For example, we had moved money around a lot, so they were having to ask us for multiple statements and there would be miscommunication as to what went where & having to send the same statement over & over & over again becomes quite frustrating. I know office staff has to do their job but I wish someone would’ve returned my phone calls sooner/at all. I would also say they can improve on communication in terms of just knowing who to speak to and sticking to that. I am always busy with side businesses, plus my job and I honestly just don’t have time to talk to anyone so I asked my wife to handle everything. I was the only one on the loan, so I know I have to be the one to sign for things, etc. However, numerous times we were having to tell the SAME people to include my wife on emails, that she was the one to make decisions/take care of the whole thing in its entirety, especially for things that have a deadline. She takes care of all of it. Not only did I request for that, she did too and she’s on the title. She would inquire about any concerns or problems, and they would email me or call me eventually to follow up & not call her/include her on emails and I would have no idea what they’re talking about. The only person who consistently made the effort to talk to the right person was our sales rep, Matt. I think our home buying experience went well for lack of problems, but I definitely think it could’ve gone more smooth if they would’ve followed up quickly & just accepted that my wife needed to be the point of contact. There are definitely things I wish would have done with more quality, but the value I am getting is validated. For the price, the house is good. The drywall has some issues and the paint in the windows was poorly done. Since window treatments have been added, the impurities aren't visible. Overall, I am happy with the house, but I do wish more time would have been spent on the areas listed above.

Lack of parking, homeowners parking on side of street blocking the sidewalk, not impressed with lawn service. Street lights not on

I'll start by saying we are very happy with our home. It's beautiful and the overall construction quality is solid. The pros of the "home buying experience are: 1) the home was finished ahead of schedule. 2) Almost everyone at Beazer is great to work with. 3) Our sales rep was absolutely amazing. He was the best part of the process. The cons: 1) Not always great communication, 2) Lots of little issues to deal with and it takes a lot of prodding and back and forth to complete even the most menial tasks. 3) We had lots of turnover with the builders. It caused mistakes and miscommunications. We are happy with the end result, but the transitions were trying. From what we hear the issues we experienced were not unique to Beazer. When you're trying to crank out many houses as quickly as possible there are going to be errors. At the end of the day we are pretty happy with the overall experience. My wife and I really love our new Beazer homes, we have gotten numerous compliments on the home and it’s interior finish and design . Although there are some issues to fix such as grout in the bathroom tile cracking and some issues with the finishing of the backyard we love our home. We hope to hear back from Beazer soon about drainage issues in the backyard.

The experience over all was great from start to finish. The only feedback I will submit is that there could have been more options at the design center. We were interested in some special textiles that were nit obtainable.

Overall we are enjoying our new home even with a few design flaws that we couldn’t change when building. We’re waiting with anticipation to see how efficient this house will be in the winter, so far it’s doing pretty well with the summer heat. Hoping to be here for many years.

I moved into my new Beazer home in July and am enjoying it. I found the homebuilding process to be relatively easy thanks to my wonderful sales executive who was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Issues were attended to promptly and I felt like customer service was important to everyone I came into contact with. My only reservation was around attention to detail. I felt like my construction manager was stretched too thin to handle his workload (I guess it's good that Beazer is doing well and building a lot of homes). Things were missed, but when brought to everyone's attention, they made good on everything. You just have to stay involved, be attentive and be your own advocate. Good location

The location can’t be beat. 45 minutes from LV Metro area, but also a world away. Good prices for homes compared to the inflated LVM market and you actually get ROOM in Burson Ranch. Decent floorplans and amazing views are available. Staff is much better than you expect, especially if you have shopped around. Is it perfect? No. But it is a fantastic alternative to the other alternatives on the area. I am pleased with my decision.
