My husband and I are first time homeowners. We moved into the community because it was close to the military base where my husband is stationed. However, from the get go there were issues delaying the house completion date making us close a week later then planned. The concrete has multiple cracks and the front of the house has a chunk missing which has still not been fixed. Cracks in the doorways were never fixed even though they were taped to be fixed, the plumbing was not hooked up under the kitchen sink and to the refrigerator causing a large puddle of water to pool upon move in, I am ...

Selling experience was good. Building guidance throughout the process is was average. But the main reason I’m giving a 2 star rating on a respectable and reputable builder as Beazer is for the poor quality finish. We are happy for our beautiful home but extremely disappointed by the quality given in such a costly house.

The finish work on our home is terrible. During our final walk the home was practically pushed on us as the contractor said that we would find things overtime and he would address and fix them later. We have a list that keeps growing as we have found many mistakes made in the finish work. Bill has been great to work with and has assured us that he will get the items fixed. Thanks Bill!

I bought a beautiful model in a lovely Beazer neighborhood. Our sales experience was fantastic - everything upon inspection through the first 30 days has been a mess! Countless repairs required, broken (new) appliances, electrical issues all over the home, inconsistent follow up, weeks to complete repairs. It has been 45 days with several issues still not resolved. Shop your builder and get feedback on how they handle post move in issues!

Don’t get me wrong, the people I’ve dealt with associated with Beazer homes have been friendly, professional, and helpful with regard to the home buying process. However, upon purchasing the home, and after walkthroughs where we told that blemishes we observed would be fixed before we got the keys....didn’t get fixed before we got our keys. Since that time Beazer has outdone itself to ensure things we’ve noticed around the house are being fixed, but I feel that when you pay what these homes cost ($500k+) there shouldn’t be as many issues with a BRAND NEW build. Doors should close ...

The construction of the home is mediocre at best. I am finding all kinds of issues where the dry wall is paper thin and if you press your finger in the wall, it will go straight through! I will contact the better business bureau for homes made so cheaply but, you are charging consumers upward of $450,000. This is our hard earn money and we don’t want to spend it on subpar product. There are more people complaining in this subdivision.

Disappointed with some of the choices taken. Bought a spec home, so we didn't go through the build process with Beazer - but it's clear that the quality of materials and workmanship is basic at best. - Laminate flooring that is fine - except how unlevel it is. - Certain tile and countertop selections that are impossible to keep clean (cheap?). - Doors that are so lightweight that every time the AC shuts off, they vibrate. - A really cool microwave that is built into the cabinets of the island ... except its just the cheap one that has a swing open door - not a drawer ... so you have ...

I love my new home and especially the community but I have found it difficult to get issue inside of or pertaining to my home fixed after the purchase. It almost seems as though they will apse you until closing day and then you are on your own. While it appears that the main structure of the home is great, I have found a lot of the finishing are poorly done. For example the title in my master bath which was an upgrade is not caulked all the way around allowing water to get in the wall which I’m sure will cause mold in down the road if it doesn’t dry properly. A lot of the quarter round ...

The reason for the 2 stars are specifically for the people who made the experience pleasant such as Valerie in home design and Wayne during orientation. There were options that weren't presented to us. Changes in lay out that I wasn't made aware of and a long list of issues from floor damage, cabinet damage that Wayne took care of, and stairs that I hope will be fixed as promised later. The laying of the stairs is not up to par and the staining of the stairs to main floor is clearly visible.
