Beautiful home, unprofessional sales staff and lack of responsiveness

Beazer built a beautiful home, albeit with a few kinks that still need to be ironed out. Namely, a small portion of vinyl siding that is missing on the exterior of the home, the gas fireplace not working and a few places that were not sealed properly on the exterior of the home. All of these items can and will be fixed but are delayed due to COVID-19 which is 100% understandable and perfectly alright. Worst new home I have owned (this is my 4th new home). Track home quality, fit and finish is terrible, nothing cleaned before being painted, all trim is rough, cracked, paint looks like a 2 year old did the work. Several cracks in walls after just 2 months. What a disappointing home. No builder pride in work and no quality control. Area is nice but home is rated at a 1 out of 5. If you want a nice home keep looking. If you want a low quality track home this is it.

Changing of deadlines, subcontractors used not the best

The completion date of our home was changed several times, initially the house was to be complete before thanksgiving but was not actually complete until December 20th. With the extra time taken, you would think that everything would be perfect, yet despite having 2 walk-throughs prior to move in, everything was not perfect or fixed. Very frustrating to be paying almost half a million for a house that has missing paint, cracks in wall, chips in granite, etc.

storage area above garage should be included in price. garage painted should be included. other new housing developments in the area with similar pricing include these.paid for a premium lot but with all the setbacks it's useless. you should tell us the details of the lot before you buy. Several items not revealed from Beazer during the building process. I only found out because of others building in the neighborhood. They do not provide a list of all standard features for your home design, and then are not forthcoming with what your upgrade options are (e.g. 8' interior doors, bricking on back patio concrete, etc.). Basically they give you a 20 page list of all upgradable fixtures and then you have to figure out what is already upgraded in your model vs. what you can upgrade to; its a basic "highlight" activity put on the buyer. Wonderful Experience

We had a great experience from start to finish with everyone we came in contact with. Folks were extremely helpful with selection of everything inside and outside our home. The neighborhood is great and we are looking forward to spending our retirement years in the Estuary. If there was one thing that I would suggest be done differently; all the punch list items should be taken care of before settlement.

I feel that they knew I was moving in and at the last minute just threw stuff together. Have had several issues which some have been taken care of. Had trouble with my water heater and they had the plumber come out. If someone represents a company they should have a card with their name on it. You may know who they are, but I don't. Am not new to moving as we have moved 10 times and built 3 custom homes. Grant it this is not a CUSTOM hone, but it is my home and one I hope to enjoy. My oven door is broken as well as my dishwasher door. I was told I couldn’t have a new appliances “it would remove the warranty “ because the appliance was associated with my house .? Seriously? We were happy to purchase our second new home together in the beautiful Willowsford neighborhood in Aldie. We love the Brightons floor plan and it is perfect for our needs. However after a month of living there, we have found quality issues in the plumbing system and also the granite as well as the quality of the light fixtures. The high-end kitchen and butlers pantry area have granite counter tops. Overall, the house is OK; however, there was a lack of attention to details. In particular, the paint job was sloppy -- where there unpainted areas and paint spots on the floors and stairs. Another issue we had was missing stone work on the garage, which left parts of the garage exposed to the outside.

I have heard great things about Beazer homes and am excited to be a part of the community now. I must say that I have not started off as I had expected. In the last three weeks I have had no heat- No hot water- I still have no heat down stairs. My toilet has already backed up twice. The door stop for the front door broke and I have a dent in my wall. Decent, but not great.

Overall our home is very nice, but I feel like it was not finished out well. The trim/caulk/paint are shoddy at best and it feels like the guys finishing the house rushed as much as possible. We had issues with things not being hung straight even after multiple attempts to hang them.

My husband and I recently purchased/ built our home with Beazer. We love our home but unfortunately it has not been the best experience. Our realtor was great and very helpful since day one. Our home was not ready when we closed and is still pending a few items after being here for almost two months. It's quite annoying still having blue tape on our cabinets. Our heat did not work, our dishwasher does not work and we did our final walk through the day of our closing since it was not complete the Monday prior.
