Buying process wasn't hard was probably the easiest. However the building process was long and very painful. We were promised something and they didn't follow through on it. However we understand due to delays but I feel.towrads the end the whole time stuff was rushed to get the house up and stuff.

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for sharing with us, Ephraim. While we try to stick to the estimated closing dates, we understand there may be times when outside circumstances come into play. We are thrilled to see that your local team was able to get you nice and settled into your new home. We hope that you are busy making memories with your loved ones. Very difficult process

My home buying experience was not great to say the least. I had to work with multiple different home counselors for whatever reason and throughout the first half of the process, it seemed like nobody knew what was going on or could provide me with accurate updates. I was originally told that my home would be competed no later than end of October. Well when it comes around that time, I was told the home is no where close to being ready to close. They then gave me a date of beginning of December which is when my already extended rate lock, was due to expire. Come december, home was still not ...

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for sharing with us. We're sorry to hear that your new home experience was less than ideal. While we always try to meet the estimated closing date, we understand that there may be times when some extra care in the home is needed first. We apologize for any frustrations this may have caused, but we are thrilled to see that Brandon and Laura were able to take charge of the situation and get you settled into your new home shortly after. Lots of warranty calls and poor subcontractors

I have had to call almost weekly on different items to get fixed since moving in less than a month ago and the window subcontractor is a joke. They have brought the wrong windows or broken windows twice and had to take them back. They don’t communicate very when setting up a time and when they do agree on a time they either don’t show and Adam had to call them or they come way early and we “miss” them because we expect them at the time agreed upon. The overall buying experience was great even though our house took over a year to be completed. Once we moved in, we realized the materials used and work done is horrible. It’s like the did everything in a rush and didn’t care how the final result looks like. We keep finding issues with our home such as damaged blinds, shower door leaking water, caulking in multiple places is cracking, carpet falling apart (shedding), toilet not installed correctly, issues with cabinets and much more. I will not be purchasing homes with Beazer in the future.

My closing date was pushed up by 2 months, and the way I was supposedly notified was via email. Finally Beazers salesman called me to let me know I was in a violation of my contract ( because I haven't locked an interest rate in), and that's how I found out. The product that produced was good, but the hassle with it all had me wanting to backout at least 3 times during the process.

The home buying process was smooth with the Beazer team. The downside was that we had a leaky sink, a heater that installed incorrectly and would not heat the house, the new oven did not work at has taken 2 months to fix. Also, the dishwasher was wouldn’t drain at first, the air conditioner was too close to the wall per the code, as well as other minor cosmetic fixes needing to be done.

When deciding to purchase a new build we went with Beazer because the Sales Representative Monika was quick to get back to us and answer any questions we might have. The process was slow and there were delays some due to material shortages others due to personnel and priority to spec homes. My experience overall was somehwat satisfied. The builders tried to work with us on the price of the home and the deal we got for our home was very good. Except when they didn't tell us that we needed to settle on the home before September was over or they were going to take back the discount. That was very stressful to deal with that bc loans don't get approved right away. I like our new home but the construction quality leaves much to be desired. Things that we were promised were not delivered. Answers went unanswered. Construction was slow moving yet overly sloppy and quick at times. The quality of everything from windows to hinges seem to be second rate and much will end up being replaced. Also, not enough choices were given in the building material and other items. No deviation at all was allowed. Painting and wall board taping was so bad I will have to end up repainting almost everything. They need better quality control and someone who can respond quickly ...

For the most part very satisfied with my new home. The design is absolutely beautiful. The process to get my new home could have been better. It would have been nice to know exactly how much land I would end up with as backyard and side before purchase. Since you don't know where exactly they will place the house on the lot makes it difficult to know what space you will have around the home. There were also some issues inside the house that had to be corrected so early into moving in. Overall if you look at the big picture I love my new home and am happy with the purchase.

Our experience was a mixed one. Firstly, it took a very long time to complete. We understand these are turbulent times with all kinds of supply issues ect. So, no one is to blame for that but maybe the current administration. We love our home and love living here. What needs to be mentioned is the people who are in charge of the trades. Our overall experience was good but we did have delays in closing and there were some things that weren't completed on the final walk through. they told us that it would be completed but when we called back to follow up we were told that it would be handled under warranty, which is not what they said on closing day. it took several weeks to get it fixed so I feel like I was getting the runaround.
