It was good experience overall and we enjoyed it and we love our home. I am not satisfied with backyard because it was not leveled and grass is very low. Also, one of backyard sprinkler pipes was burst open and now we are waiting to get this fixed up.

My initial experience was not good. My first Beazer real estate agent and I had a ratified contract that he annulled without my acknowledgement. My agent thought I knew about contract was cancelled and sold to another client. I told my agent to find out what's going on and I purchased another house same price next street over from original house. I had a bad experience with final walkthrough. This is why my score is a three.

I like our new home with the exception of a couple issues. Main issue I have is with the Heat system or it could be Duck work, either way unit with master bedroom in back does not get the air flow need to properly heat the bedroom in winter without turning up the thermostat. Gas bill higher than you would think for such an efficient unit as stated to us. Did not like the Gas Stove, was not given an option of Electric.

Could Have Been a Better Experience

This is my third time buying a home and the overall experience could have been better. I understand there will always be growing pains with new builds but what I’ve experienced is a lack of thoroughness and quality control. Disappointing Air Conditioning and Water Heater in this Home.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the air conditioning system in this house. Despite the dimensions of the property, the air conditioning appears to be insufficient, it is annoying that we woke up every night sweating even though we set up the A/C @ 62 °F, and what is even worse we are in winter time I don’t want to imagine how it will get in summer. Upon examining the unit’s identification plate and the sizing chart, it is evident that the air conditioner should be twice its current size (current is 2 Tons, and according to the house dimensions should be 4 Tons). ...

There are a lot of things needing repair already. Since day one our roof gutters were full of concrete and other debris. My husband had to get a ladder and clear it himself and his hand was bleeding. They have a one year repair guarantee but so far our case has been open for 2 months and no one has come to repair anything. Our list of repairs is 2 emails long by the way.

I can't say with confidence, I'd purchase with Beazer. The building process wasn't cumbersome, but our realtor had to follow up on a few things and we got an inspection. For the final inspection, they hadn't done everything by the first or 2nd walk through. For the identify and tape process, their were weird rules. Our realtor couldn't help, it had to be so many feet away, had to be a certain size, etc. Mind you, you're spending over a half million on your investment! Street Sweepers Wanted...

I cannot say I'd do this experience again. The best part was at the design center with Cari B. But I went through two sales consultants and three construction managers from purchase agreement to completion. Brian E., who handled most of the construction, was a loss and it was a great thing when he quit. He never walked the property or addressed concerns which is why I have an untrue wall in my entry and my electrical meter was installed on the wrong side of the home which caused a significant construction delay. It was a stressful experience. The builders took a lot of short cuts. The house looks pretty for the most part, but a lot of my concerns have not been addressed, and I have been in my home for seven weeks. They cannot deviate from the build at all because they are a national builder.

We purchased a new home but many things were not right on the celebration walk. We’ve been in the home for two months now and are still dealing with taking time off work for contractors to make everything right - as it should have been when I moved in. Just noticed today that most of the windows look like they have mold in them and the seals are all cut up or pinched. Ugh.

Hot water issue is HUGE

First, the home is comfortable and well made, and pleasing to the eyes. My major complaint is that hot water takes a full 2+ minutes to reach any sink. That is 10 minutes a day standing and waiting while 50 gallons of water a day go down the drain. We tried a hot water recirculating pump but it didn't work, so we were forced to install 3 under sink small water heaters in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. That is a HUGE DESIGN FLAW that cost us $1800 to remedy. The yard is a bit TOO small, would prefer 50 X 50 and not 40 X 40 back yards. Overall the experience wasn’t terrible, but there were so MANY issues and problems that it made the experience unpleasant. It wasn’t one terrible issue, but rather several small issues constantly. The quality of the finished home also didn’t match what I felt I paid for.

Over promised and barely delivered.

Many steps along the way were disappointing. Seeing that the sill plate foam was only around about 40% of the house instead of all the exterior walls, while the roll laid around in the dirt for weeks after partial installation. Sales guy said the gaps would be filled with caulk, but upon my inspection during construction I found many gaps where it was stuck to the wood but not the slab, it was remedied. Sales person was great.

Our salesperson was wonderful. We have been in our house for over 30 days and things still are not fixed. We have a switch issue with garage lights, incorrect tile in the middle of the bathroom floor, black silt fence is half falling down (our home is the only home with the silt on our side of the street, the grass is 12 inches high between our fence and the silt) and the back of our home looks trashy.
