Bad custo.er service during construction and after closing. My dishwasher is not working for one month and there is no update on that.

Lots of promises but beware

I like our new home but the construction quality leaves much to be desired. Things that we were promised were not delivered. Answers went unanswered. Construction was slow moving yet overly sloppy and quick at times. The quality of everything from windows to hinges seem to be second rate and much will end up being replaced. Also, not enough choices were given in the building material and other items. No deviation at all was allowed. Painting and wall board taping was so bad I will have to end up repainting almost everything. They need better quality control and someone who can respond quickly ...

Building phase is great but no QA Inspection team for first walk through to measure the quality of built house

The sales and building phases are great. Design upgrade center really screws the customer. It has to really flexible for the amount of money poured by the customer. Also no inspection team from Beazer for first walkthrough to measure the quality of construction by the contractors. Average ratings from me.

For the most part very satisfied with my new home. The design is absolutely beautiful. The process to get my new home could have been better. It would have been nice to know exactly how much land I would end up with as backyard and side before purchase. Since you don't know where exactly they will place the house on the lot makes it difficult to know what space you will have around the home. There were also some issues inside the house that had to be corrected so early into moving in. Overall if you look at the big picture I love my new home and am happy with the purchase.

Beazer Homes responded:
Betsy, thank you so much for your feedback. We, here at Beazer, are committed to excellence in all we do which is why we strive to ensure all of our homeowners have as much information for their home as possible before closing. We will be sure to pass along your sentiments to our local teams. Please know, your feedback will help us build a better Beazer going forward. Our experience was a mixed one. Firstly, it took a very long time to complete. We understand these are turbulent times with all kinds of supply issues ect. So, no one is to blame for that but maybe the current administration. We love our home and love living here. What needs to be mentioned is the people who are in charge of the trades. Their job is to make sure the trades do an acceptable job building the home. In our case the person in charge of our home missed a lot of things. There are too many issues to name here. We will now be inconvenienced with major repairs in the coming weeks. We ...

Our overall experience was good but we did have delays in closing and there were some things that weren't completed on the final walk through. they told us that it would be completed but when we called back to follow up we were told that it would be handled under warranty, which is not what they said on closing day. it took several weeks to get it fixed so I feel like I was getting the runaround. In the future, I would not go to closing until all the punch items were fixed.

Poor experience

I am very disappointed with the carelessness and poor protection of counter tops, flooring, cabinetry, as a result of people (primarily contractors) improperly placing tools and causing damage. I am also disappointed that Beazer staff did not resolve these matters prior to final inspection. The post move-in 45-day, 90-day follow-up appointments for inspection and repairs have been delayed. Everyone involved in the build of new homes should treat each new home as if it were their own home and paid with their hard owned money. This will be my first and last Beazer purchase.

Beautiful and quality home, typical home buying experience

The final product is fantastic! Love my new home. The buying process was typical though. Our house was delayed 3 months and while it was expected with all the supply problems, we were hardly notified. We were talked down to when we asked questions as if we should know the answer. Once we were able to move in, they seemed to wipe their hands clean and move on to the next house. I’ve put in a warranty request form for a number of items and after the first week and haven’t heard anything since. I’ve heard this same thing about other builders but was hoping Beazer would be more professional.

Overall, we are very happy with our Beazer home. It's beautiful and spacious. The experience, however, left very much to desire. We signed our contract in June 2021, and we were told that the estimated closing date would be January or February of 2022. Unfortunately, we were not able to close until the end of August 2022. A huge mistake was discovered and it literally took 5 months to fix it. Jack was overseeing construction at that time. There were very many issues we had at closing of our home/ I fully understand all the delays in supply issues and getting permits from county. In the beginning, we were getting weekly updates, keeping us posted on progress of the house. There we many issues we had found upon checking out our house as it was in the building process. This is our 4th new construction home & although all of them had problems typical to new construction this Beazer home was truly a nightmare from beginning(lying sales girl who "forgot" to tell us the $10,000 rebate she promised was a no go) to the very end, when the Corporate Director of Construction was scrambling to get enough things fixed so we would close. Pavement at the entrance already has several cracks in it. My lawn front and especially the backyard is nothing but weed, little bit of grass infront Badly fitted back door. Might as well leave door open for big spiders and other pests. It’s at least 1/8 inch gaps between door and door frame. When we call, it’s always someone else’s area to address the issue The shower always leaves poddle of water on the bathroom floor, every time.
