We enjoyed working with Beazer Homes on our new home - the people we dealt with were wonderful. However, we moved in February 20 and have already had the HVAC and electrician out to repair/replace parts of the system. The paint job throughout the house is horrendous, there's a literal river running beside our home from a terrible drainage system, and the stain on our stairs is a nightmare. We love our floorplan, we love our neighborhood, and we've loved the Beazer people - but the actual construction details leave a LOT to be desired. Beazer builder

At least in Plumas Lake the builder gives out subcontracts but does supervise the work. The sub contract rush through the work. They inefficient and leave a mess behind. The nice concrete gets stained with red clay and they dont clean it. Beazer does not want to take responsibilty for that. My new home has concrete that has red clay stains all over.

In our home two months and still not complete

We closed on our new Beazer home on December 31. It has been nearly two (2) months since we closed on our home and we still have a punch list with 15+ items that need to be addressed... from painting to floor fixes to stained grout in our bathrooms. The overall home construction seems to be good, but the attention to detail, quality of work, and respect for the new homeowners by the trades (i.e., painters, drywall, framers, etc.) is badly lacking. Beautiful home, lot less quality product than expected

All looks good before closing, then you find that you have a lake on each side of the home, your electrical box is not working, chipping tiles, cheap pavers. These are things that eventually will cost a lot of money to replace in the long run. The homeowner should expect to re-do all flooring, outside paint, pavers electric box and much more in less than most newly built homes. Very disappointing - great service from the field but the horrible product in general. If they could have found any other way to save money they would have.

Somewhat disappointed in final product.

My punch list was not completed because sub-contractors did not cooperate despite the best efforts of the Beazer supervisor. So, I still have grout and paint spots all over my tile floors and my granite counter top is not anchored properly and has rough spots on the underside that fray clothing. My back yard was left full of debris from construction, so we are constantly cleaning it up and finding nails, etc. The interior walls were painted with one coat of flat paint, so anytime we even just touch it there is a spot and if we try to clean it the paint comes off and leaves a bare spot. Very poor quality workmanship. Seems to be a crew of day laborers changing weekly. Inferior wood trim, drywall finishing, door hanging, finish work.and on and on. The initial phase of purchasing the home was very easy and pleasant. But once the contract was signed, it was a totally different experience. Before we signed the documents, we were assured on closing around our desired time frame as we were moving from another state. She absolutely refused to respect boundaries. From the start the communication was terrible from the office staff. Slow response or none at all. Date of orientation was rescheduled twice without considering the buyers work schedule, etc. The electricity was not turned on until the day before closing, 26 hrs to be exact. The sales team Amber and Beth are absolutely amazing. They are always keeping you up to date on the progress of your home and answer your questions. As far as everything else no so good. The quality of workmanship is poor. Our grout is not even and has gaps and holes in it, we have asked multiple times for this to be repaired and it has yet to be done. I would give it a 3. Boughtvacnew home in Charleston sc from pulse and felt they were a little more on point. Our house when we moved in was not really even cleaned. Punch list items were I would say normal. But the cabinets are horrible. They are having to replace over a dozen doors and our entire vanity in second bath.

There’s hasn’t been a single aspect of our home that didn’t need to be fixed after moving in. There was loose threading on our carpet, scratches on our windows, scratches on closet doors, scratches on our kitchen counters, peeling wood floors and spaces between the wood panels, uneven and unfinished kitchen cabinets, paint splatter in almost every room including the metal fixtures, carpet and wood floors. Quality control is non existent

We have been in our home about 6 weeks and have found many issues. We found many during the build itself also. We installed a security door on the front and now our front door is unusable because the overhang is too low and the door won't open. Beazer tells us it's been inspected and it's built to specs, funny that my security cameras didn't catch anyone at our front door inspecting it. Don’t close before completion of punch list items

I had several items that were not completed prior to closing and it has been extremely difficult getting them done. List was provided to construction manager over a month ago and nothing has been done, nor has he responded. My advice to new buyers is not to close until all items from your punch list has been completed. They will promised you that they will get it done, don’t trust them, it will be painful. I was warned by another buyer and should have listen.

Never again will I get a BEAZER home. Too much imperfection. Huge shout out to construction manager who did a terrible job and for those workers who have no passion at what they do or they are just not good at what they do. I will never forgive BEAZER for not fixing the ceiling and wall. Too bad I did not notice it before closing. It’s a huge quality issue for me but for BEAZER it’s a cosmetic issue.

Experienced fraud from Beazer management since the day I gave them the security deposit. They kept on increasing the price, first within 30 minutes of giving them the security deposit. Started sending text messages daily after 8:30 pm in the nights to sign the contract or risk losing security deposit, is it even legal to send texts at such odd times? Low Quality Rushed Work

First off, Jennifer was very good at her job. The buying experience was pleasant. The quality of work is very underwhelming. There were several framing issues in the pre drywall inspection that as a homebuyer I should not have been the one to point them out. The fix for those issues was as good as it needed to be to pass inspection. The painters did a horrific job.
