Great experience with first time buying new construction

We are very pleased with many factors of our Beazer home. The finished design exceeds our expectations from our original ideas. Seeing the house come to life has been an exciting time for us, and we were very pleased with the total outcome from start to finish, this neighborhood have been safe secure and enjoyable living space thanks to Beazer Homes and company.

I don't know anything about the company, but my wife and I like our 100 townhouse community. Both our salesperson and the superintendent on our home were knowledgeable and caring; pleasant and competent.

From the beginning, Cathy was very welcoming and was well informed on the process. Any questions I had she answered and if she didn't know she always try to find out. Todd the assistant builder was great, he kept in touch with the progress of the house and I was not left wondering what was going on. I am a little disappointed on the time it is taking to process my repair, I have squeaky floors and have submitted a claim, to date no progress on that.. I am been told that they will get to me after COVID, what if that takes 2years, will I need to live with squeaky floors for 2 years. I lowered the stars to a 4 based on that. ... More

Home construction was superb and includes extensive environmental and energy saving concepts. Support of the sales and construction managers made the entire process easy. A couple things off in the home, but not so much a big deal. Overall very satisfied with the purchase of our new home. Glad we did this. Thanks!

Don’t get me wrong, the people I’ve dealt with associated with Beazer homes have been friendly, professional, and helpful with regard to the home buying process. However, upon purchasing the home, and after walkthroughs where we told that blemishes we observed would be fixed before we got the keys....didn’t get fixed before we got our keys. Since that time Beazer has outdone itself to ensure things we’ve noticed around the house are being fixed, but I feel that when you pay what these homes cost ($500k+) there shouldn’t be as many issues with a BRAND NEW build. Doors should close properly, door knobs shouldn’t come off just by opening the door, and counters shouldn’t be scratched up after they’ve been “smoothed”. I’m generally unhappy when it comes to the home and I shouldn’t be. I should be ecstatic about our new home, and highly recommend it to other people but I don’t and won’t do that. ... More

Great quality overall and even better service. Any issues or defects I have come across have been corrected quickly.

wanted to paint garage floor prior to moving in. could not get the keys prior to moving in even though house was finished and absolutely nothing going on five days before moving in. i would have gladly signed a waiver in case something happened and we couldn't move in. just too much for you people to handle !

Carmine is very welcoming. One of our reasons we bought at Beazers we felt at HOME! We love Beazer homes.... its quiet, friendly people and the views of mountain hills are beautiful.

The whole process of buying the house of our dreams , was exceptional. I was out of town for most of the process, and Beazer really made it easy for my wife while I was gone. We couldn’t be more please with the exceptional help of the whole Beazer homes team.

Beazer Homes did an excellent job building our home and worked with us every step of the way during the building process. Excellent customer service from the sales team to the build team. We are very happy with the home they built for our family.

The only advice I'd say which is my experience. Thoroughly review document from design. We are all human we all make mistakes and in my experience I overlooked something on the design session paperwork and the color of my home is not the color that we chose. The design specialist chose that color for us. And when we brought that to her attention, nobody would fix it as to the house was being painted at that moment. We was not happy but we accepted it at the end.

Amazing experience

First of all I’d like to praise Don, the Construction Manager. He’s gone above and beyond for us in ways he shouldn’t have had to. Our initial experience was with a salesman named Ryan. We fell in love with the floor plan before we even arrived so it didn’t take much for us to sign a contract. During that process we negotiated for a fridge and specifically chose a fridge & agreed on it. Ryan wrote the contract. Over the next few days Ryan sent us several versions of the contract because our real estate agent kept finding mistakes he’d made. Apparently Ryan got transferred to another location after that but for some reason he continued to be our point of contact instead of transferring us to the other salesperson, Frank. That would have been the right thing to do because Ryan continued to drop the ball. Fast forward to our celebration walk. The fridge they bought was the one we said we absolutely hated (the water spout is on the inside of the door and impossible for my 5 year old to use). We were assured that they’d make it right but we were backed into a corner with closing being only two weeks away. They came back and offered a few hundred dollars off closing which we had no choice but to accept because they refused to correct RYANS mistake despite admitting we did nothing wrong. So we ended up having to buy a new fridge out of pocket and that money off closing didn’t come close to what it cost. We end up moving in on time and I spend the next 3 weeks trying to get water & trash service set up. Do you know what it’s like to move in somewhere and not have trash cans for 3 weeks? We were instructed to leave the bags on the street, which would get ripped open every night by animals. Leaving it in our garage in hundred degree temperatures made our garage smell like a landfill. It was awful and despite calling and emailing daily it took every bit of 3 weeks to get this resolved. Who even has time for that? Then the water heater goes out 4 times in one week & they tell me I’m going to be out of hot water for 5 days while they order a part. So now I have to live in my own filth with trash everywhere??? Again, Don to the rescue. He let us put our trash in a construction dumpster and called the plumbers and insisted they get the parts for the water heater before the holiday weekend. Don saved this experience 100%. Our friends are moving in soon and they talked to Frank about the water/trash situation and he told Them the reason I had so many issues is because Ryan didn’t do what he was supposed to do before we moved in. It was his job to notify the HOA of our move in so they could get accounts set up and trash cans delivered. Once again, Ryan dropped the ball and we paid for it. The unfortunate thing about this whole thing to me, is that Beazer didn’t make it right when their employee screwed up. As someone who deals with upset customers every day, I know the value is making sure the customer is taken care of at the end of the day especially when one of my employees makes a mistake. Beazer made homebuying easy for me. Im a first time homebuyer and the sales consultant was patient, knowledgeable about the brand and outgoing. The home sold itself. The work and detail were amazing. The builder was transparent, and educated me on every detail. I've been in my home for 45 days and had very little issues. The issues I have experienced were handled expeditiously by the builder and warranty center. I am beyond impressed and happy. Beazer made my himebuying experience truly easy and rewarding.

Why can’t I get the problems in our house fixed? Who do We have to contact? We Are getting very frustrated with Beezer

I received $5000 in closing costs paid by the builder! Beazer Homes new construction homes is one of which I ended up choosing. The front office staff were great to work with, very informative and answered all the questions I had prior to purchasing. Overall I had a great experience buying my first home. The process went smoothly! I am very happy with my new home!

I would full heartily recommend this place to look at. They build very fast and with amazing attention to detail. I give them a truly great/amazing rating
