Not the best experience

I know each person and experience is different, but I can't provide many positive experiences with purchasing a new home with Beazer. I know that in the future I would think twice and look at other builders. Now that I have moved in, I feel they care more about the sale and getting it done rather than making the experience and home good for the buyer. Be mindful about what you see if the model because they don't always provide you what you think is standard and will state "it is subject to change by the builder, and you signed that in your contract" (to me this is false advertising if I fell ...

Beazer has very streamlined process. There is nothing much to add considering their magnitude of projects. The main question is the value to your money. It might be very attactive with initial lower costs, but they quickly add up in their upgrades and crazy lot premium costs. Considering the lot sizes they have and the house plans it doesn't make sense to me. They have in built some or almost un noticeable cost cuttings or cheap materials unless you live in the house. The paints of the house are cheap even with upgrades and they don't even leave anything behind for any quick fix ups after ...

Moved in and saw some things were missed with the final walk through. Additionally, some things were completed after walk through which left a mess. No one has cleaned it up. My yard is a mucky swamp with green slime destroying the shared fence. Some contractor walked through paint after final walk through and it’s all over my pristine sidewalk and entryway. Everyone is very attentive until after closing. No returned emails regarding repairs. No follow-up for email requests over 1 month. No response, no reply. No call, no follow-up. Product overall is highly over priced! Right now a/c is not working correctly. Called a/c service several times since it is on warranty and get the same old story each time. Door knobs came off the first day of move-in, very little water pressure upstairs, no towel racks installed (had to call on this too) Seems like this condo has more problems than what it is worth! We recently purchased a brand-new home from Beazer Homes, and our experience has been far from satisfactory. Despite their promises of quality and energy efficiency, we encountered numerous issues post-purchase that were poorly addressed. On the closing day, Beazer claimed to have deep cleaned the house, but this was clearly untrue as the house hadn't even been properly vacuumed. Their promise of energy-efficient homes, tested with gas to ensure no air leaks, was also misleading. We discovered a significant gap in the entrance door, which took over a month to get fixed. Since I moved in it’s been one headache after another. After a week and a half of sticking bandaids on things after I moved in the entire hot water heater needed replacing, as well as a breaker and toilet. My lights constantly flicker and my ceiling fan makes noises and wakes me up at night. The service providers Beazer recommends are awful as well. I have not had 1 week of uninterrupted internet service since I moved in. I work from home. The energy savings they were so proud to sell to me have not materialized even a little. I feel like I was taken for a ride.

I was originally soooo excited to move - talked with a sales agent on two different occasions that I would get to design the home and that the backyard would be 20’ by 20’…fast forward to walk though and there were many issues including the fact that they were now telling me the backyard would only be 20’ by 14’ which is a massive difference. To say that we were excited to move into our first new build, is an understatement. We were so thrilled by the salesman in the office who was helpful and informative. From the second we moved into our home we have had nonstop work orders placed under warranty. Now I do understand that things happen but the amount of time we have had to take off work for repairs continues to add up and we’re not even done. I didn’t enjoy my home buying experience because the building of my home was not a great experience for me. I feel that the higher management should check more on the building of the homes so that some of these many mistakes can be alleviated. Just feels like they did a rush job. So many little issues and they all add up. HVAC & Heating system issues after 3 weeks in the home. Not just us but across the entire community.
