Homebuilder touts quality/warranty and fails to deliver

Where do we start... We purchased the home in April 2021, we were constantly bombarded with phone calls "We need your Deposit, payment, etc" and by the way, you can only work with their lenders. Once we closed, communication ended there, when we needed warranty work, no communication. Mind you we have only been here 2 months and these are the issues that have Not been taken care of, or taken care of with a lack of professionalism: before we even moved in, we noted that the landscaping was horrible, we were told "oh it's okay, it will be fine", landscaping completely dead, okay we can wait ...

Poor quality management (sloppy finishing, or not finished???)

I was a first-time home buyer, and Beazer Homes ruined my experience. I love the location and the residents but I hate to say that I wouldn't have bought this condo if I was aware of such poor and sloppy quality of this building. There is no parking for visitors. Bad planning. With regards to the access to the entrance door to the building, I couldn't find my name for more than one month after I moved in. Bad management. Beazer's engineers seem to be trying to respond to the residents' claims but the progress is very very slow because there are so many problems being reported by the ...

Our experience with Beazer has been very stressful. During the building we had many issues that were both structural and cosmetic that I caught in time and had to argue to have fixed. Thank God I visited the site regularly and caught these things. During the wacky through we had tons of things that were to be fixed and 2 months later were still fighting to get those things completed. The first week there I decided to take a bath and ended up with water in my kitchen. The kick boards to my cabinets were pulled out in the kitchen and bathroom and they are still open! Multiple issues are been raised during final walk-thru but Beazer homes didn't consider as they need to get closing as soon as possible. I observe more than customer satisfaction-Beazer homes wants to hand-over to the home owner and wash the hands. After closing-now I am following up with Warranty team, no proactive response on the issues listed.

The pictures used to represent the color of my home do not match the color that I was given. The excuse I keep getting is that the color I was given is correct because the numbers given for the order were correct. My problem is that the color of my house looks pink NOT GREY like the pictures represented. I did not choose the color of my home based on numbers, I chose the color of my home based on the model I was given. The house itself is pretty well built. But Beazer did not tell us prior to closing that MediaCom, the only cable supplier in the Estuary, had not installed any of the necessary infrastructure. Beazer claims they didn’t know-that’s hard to believe. And if true, local management is incompetent and should be fired. In any case they have disavowed any responsibility. Basically, they’ve said “it’s not our problem—deal with MediaCom. They fail to understand that we buyers deal with THEM. We depend on the builder to do their due diligence in all areas. Decent product, but you can easily find similar craftmanship with better customer service elsewhere. I signed for building plans that were not completed correctly and then I was given a hassle for an issue that was clearly defined graphically and contractually.
