We purchased a new home and have had issues. First the design did not give us accurate information, after the fact we found out items were available that we were told they did not have. We made changes and the change orders didnt seem to make it to the job site. Our master shower tile has been an issue. They have made "repairs" several times. Each time the repairs made it worse. We are still fighting with this. We have other small items that have not been resolve yet. We hope they get to them. But it seems like if we dont follow up repeatedly nothing happens. We pointed out items ...

Feels like I bought a lemon.. the entire experience up to not has not been enjoyable nor similar to prior experiences. Keys didn’t work day of closing, garage door didn’t work, more than 5 electrical problems, terrible communication and customer service. Would not recommend this company nor will I buy a Beazer home again.

The pantry and linen closets has only 3 shelves. The bathroom light fixtures are very dated. Toilet tanks has about a liter of water, need to flush twice at a minimun. No light fixtures at all in any bedroom. I took care of all the modifications above to my liking on my own. There's one more issue that im dealing with at the moment. Ron and Larry don't think it's a problem. These door knobs are unreal. The plate on one side comes loose as you turn the knobs and it makes a "clang " noise. There's about 6 knobs that are like that. Steve came to the house yesterday and said, there's no ...

Construction person is really horrible

When we are building a house and request for touching up and etc., the majority of the construction person, Rob, is saying no or it's fine. Not only for that, but their service was also rude and not supportive. The process of building a house was a nightmare experience for me and my family. Even after building the house, the services aren't great. We love the community but Beazer wasn't a good experience at all.

There is no great place to start. Sales assured a radiant barrier was included in the home, it wasn't and I didn't discover that until the second floor was going up. I requested the build in one orientation and was told after contract it had to be built in the other direction. I cancelled an out of country family vacation to accommodate the "only" design center appointment they had; they subsequently canceled on me and couldn't reschedule so we had to make our design elections in pieces during preview dates, text messages and screen shots.. including electrical selections which I am living to ...

Will they build you a house? Yes. Will they miss the little things they shouldn't? Also yes. Here's some examples: Tons of paint drops on your floor because they're in a rush to fix paint mistakes they made weeks back and it's 3 days out from closing Failing make good on their promises to get you a $600 giftcard you're owed because they put the wrong model of appliance in the contract and got you "upgrades" instead, for TWO MONTHS after closing. Putting in several one-way light switches upside down. Price gouging you on carpets, you pay for a whole house but get it only in 1/4 of the ...

We worked with very nice people that did not tell us the entire truth throughout the process. We have been in our home for over a month with the sloppiest new home finish ever. If We had known the quilts of finish out before we purchased, we would have never bought a Beazer home. Lazy and sloppy is how I would characterize the workers. Most of the interior of home needs to be repainted and that is unacceptable for the amount of investment this was.

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had buying a home. When I inquired on a Friday about purchasing a new build home, I was informed there were no lots in the first phase that would accommodate the house I wanted, but that they would be opening the second phase soon. Surprisingly the next Monday I was told that lots had opened up in Phase 2! The lot I was interested, well, someone else had expressed interest in it to so I needed to hurry. I signed a contract on Tuesday, March 18th and was told construction would start in May and the house would be ready in October. May comes around ...

Completely dissatisfied with the build of the house. Beezer must use the philosophy quantity over quality. Too many issues to list with the build process and the first two months has only highlighted additional repairs required from their build process. My wife and I bought a Beazer home after considering doing a remodel of our previous house. We decided to go with Beazer because we liked the floor plan, the sales person, the quality and craftsmanship of the model homes. Unfortunately the craftsmanship of the house we bought is very poor. Our close date was pushed 3 times because the house was not ready. It's been almost 2 months and we are still working out issues the builder agreed to fix prior to closing. Everything is left to sub contractors and their vendors, no control by construction supervisor as he may be handling too many jobs, response to customer questions during construction is very negative and try to reply as that is standard in Central Florida as labor shortage, Pressure test on water pipes not done properly and resulted in water leaks under the concrete slabs even after four days of purchase.
