Beazer Homes - I've been in my home for almost 4 month now.

I've been in my home for almost 4 month now. There are still things that have not been fixed, and emails go unanswered, promises made to come by with no show, or call, or email. Super disappointing. Buyer beware.

Disappointed with some of the choices taken. Bought a spec home, so we didn't go through the build process with Beazer - but it's clear that the quality of materials and workmanship is basic at best. - Laminate flooring that is fine - except how unlevel it is. - Certain tile and countertop selections that are impossible to keep clean (cheap?). - Doors that are so lightweight that every time the AC shuts off, they vibrate. - A really cool microwave that is built into the cabinets of the island ... except its just the cheap one that has a swing open door - not a drawer ... so you have ...

Some promises was not even kept after they was documented. Hopefully my follow ups will get everything done, but the jury is still out.

The worst buying experience ever.
- Braeden M.
- Verified HomeBuyer
- May 12, 2026

This would be one of the worst buying experiences I have ever had. It was delayed 18 months to begin with. The whole buying experience was so disorganized, I had insurance companies calling me before they had even broken ground asking to sign me up. The forced mortgage providers was one of the most unprofessional I have ever seen. Tiffany from Cross Country Mortgage was beyond unprofessional, rude, and used tactics that I have never experienced. I tried following with the multiple lead people on the project. Eventually was put in touch with Janise, who ultimately told me to get lost as they ...

Incomplete work

Multiple delays in closing for 6 months and still the house isn't completely finished, 2 months after closing. Time will tell if this house was worth the hassle of a new build because I think I got the "rustic" style home with exposed nails, trim that doesn't line up, and splintered ends. Not a good experience.
Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for reaching out about your experience. We apologize for the frustrations you have encountered with your new home. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality home while providing great customer service to our homeowners and would like to help address your concerns. Beazer Homes - Delayed process, poor communication, been in home for over a

Delayed process, poor communication, been in home for over a month and there are still repairs that they have not Come back to fix (after telling us they would during final walk through). Can’t trust anything anyone says. So much work falls on you as the home buyer, to hold these people accountable. Doesn’t help having company turnover throughout the process...should’ve known to back out when employees of Beazer were leaving.
Beazer Homes responded:
We can imagine that the delays you've experienced must be upsetting and we want to assure you this is not the experience we strive to provide our homeowners. We've shared your frustrations with our Charleston Team, and would like to discuss your concerns further with you. Please give us a call back at (888) 623-2937 or via email at nhcc@beazer.com. We look forward to connecting with you to ensure your experience is a much smoother one. Thank you. - Sam ...

Worst Buying Experience Ever

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had buying a home. When I inquired on a Friday about purchasing a new build home, I was informed there were no lots in the first phase that would accommodate the house I wanted, but that they would be opening the second phase soon. Surprisingly the next Monday I was told that lots had opened up in Phase 2! The lot I was interested, well, someone else had expressed interest in it to so I needed to hurry. I signed a contract on Tuesday, March 18th and was told construction would start in May and the house would be ready in October. May comes around ...

Not happy with Beazer Homes!
- Jerry W.

- November 26, 2019

I like my home, but the problem is that my car was damaged by a Beezer subcontractor and Beazer has made no effort to rectify the situation. The repair cost is minimal to the car, it's the principal that Beazer does not accept responsibility for it's subcontractors. Considering this I do not encourage anyone to buy a Beazer home.
Beazer Homes responded:

terrible!

We were told we had a contract on one of their homes. On the drive back to the state we live in still was told we had the contract. Get home five hours later and told her we lost the home. Pick a new home explained how we needed to move quickly because we thought we were getting the other home and our current home had sold. They said we would close within two weeks it was a month! This was our worst experience ever purchasing a home and we have done this 11 times.
