Beazer Homes - Many good features with the house but also many deficiencies.

Many good features with the house but also many deficiencies. Toilets had the bowl 14-1/2 inches off the floor which does not meet the ADA minimum limits. Like sitting on the floor. We had to replace the toilets. Salesman showed us the shower we were getting in the sample house. Well it was deficient and we had to replace the shower head system. Salesman said just because it was in the sample home doesn't mean we would get the features. The alarm company always puts a module in the master bedroom. Our bedroom doesn't have a phone line. All ventilation outlets and return air filter are the ...

Late closing date

We purchased a spec house that was approx. 70% completed and signed contract in early August. At that time the estimated completion date was on or about November 1. Based on this date we contracted the sale of our current residence with a closing date of December 1st which based on buyer mortgage commiments we excuted on such date. As December approached I could not get a firm closing date and closing finally took place on December 27. This delayed essentially left us homeless and necessitated a double move, rental of storage facitilites, and renting a place to live for the ...

No Attention to Detail, poor workmanship, overall bad quality
- Rosalie R.
- Verified HomeBuyer
- December 28, 2022

No Quality Control. Bay window has uneven spacing across and uneven height. Closet supposed to be in hall was in bathroom. Toilet does not have a seat that fits. Screen room is constructed so poorly an alligator could get in. Today at 7:30 am there was banging on my house. Without notice they decided to fix the wrong facades they originally put on the building. And using my electric. Constant water and mud running down the street and a lump of dirt in the middle of my driveway. I guess that was payback for my complaining. That’s only some of it. BUYER BEWARE. They are an inferior ...

Sure a poor quality builder So many issues with the house The cosmetic appearance is like a preschool project Water leaks, no heat, doors wrong, broken trim, terrible paint jobs…and that’s just the beginning Don’t buy a house from Beazer The construction manager on site was useless, I wouldn’t have him build a dog house
