We built a Beazer home and closed in October. Our salesperson, Brad Jones, was great to work with and kept in touch weekly throughout the entire process. Our builder was also present on the weekly calls. We love our new home and would recommend Beazer Homes without reservation!

Working with Brandon & John throughout the process was extremely easy & enjoyable. Brandon helped take care of everything we needed.

No Quality Control. Bay window has uneven spacing across and uneven height. Closet supposed to be in hall was in bathroom. Toilet does not have a seat that fits. Screen room is constructed so poorly an alligator could get in. Today at 7:30 am there was banging on my house. Without notice they decided to fix the wrong facades they originally put on the building. And using my electric. Constant water and mud running down the street and a lump of dirt in the middle of my driveway. I guess that was payback for my complaining. That’s only some of it. BUYER BEWARE. We were looking for a specific size lot to build our home and had difficulty finding a big enough lot for our size home. When we found Belle Mer , Jessica presented the remaining lots and one was exactly what we were looking for. Our experience was a 5 star rating from beginning to end. Jessica is the best and did a wonderful job keeping us informed with weekly updates and pictures of the building progress. If we had any questions or concerns, Jessica was available at any time. The building supervisor, Mike and Brandon were also helpful and available for us throughout the building process. From our pre construction meetings to the walk through and move in check list , they have been the ultimate professionals. Items that needed fixed were addressed in a timely matter and if they couldn’t be, they gave us a reasonable time frame to be fixed. Sure a poor quality builder So many issues with the house The cosmetic appearance is like a preschool project Water leaks, no heat, doors wrong, broken trim, terrible paint jobs…and that’s just the beginning Don’t buy a house from Beazer The construction manager on site was useless, I wouldn’t have him build a dog house

When deciding to purchase a new build we went with Beazer because the Sales Representative Monika was quick to get back to us and answer any questions we might have. The process was slow and there were delays some due to material shortages others due to personnel and priority to spec homes. We finally were able to close on our home but it was far from quality work. The paint job was terrible with multi shades, random brush strokes, missed spots, and drips. The drywall tape lines show across the ceilings and there are cracks and poor repair work that show. There are holes, dents and dings/chips throughout the house in windowsills, floors, doors and trim. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are cracked and need replaced. The caulk and grout around sinks and counters was already cracking. The screen porch had pieces that had holes drilled from a prior installation. The concrete has pits, holes, cracks, and marks from shoes and saw blades. The a/c and heat already needed fixed. We could go on but there is just too much to list. We did submit everything to warranty but we were told that process is slower than the building process. It is a disappointment that you spend over 400k on a new house and this is what you get. I would like to recognize John M and his team. John was amazing and made sure I was kept up to date on the progress of my new home. I would also like to recognize the folks you reach when calling the Beazer warranty department. They are so polite and helpful. I found everybody I have worked with at Beazer Homes just great. I love my new home!

Despite the fact that it was a challenging year with supply chain issues, John and Mike always communicated with timely updates and quickly responded to any requests we had. Very professional team and very customer focused. Best quality home.

Beazer provided weekly updates throughout the build that included reviewing the work done the prior week and expected work and or deliveries for the coming week. Weekly pictures were also provided to show the progress which was helpful because I was out of state during the build. We are pleased with the quality of the home, the Beazer staff (especially Brad, Matt, and Phil), and the Harborview Community.

We’ve been in the house for 3 months. We’re disappointed with the interior finishing construction on the inside. We’ve had quite a few major problems. The master bathroom has cracked sink and shower needs major work. Our roof leaked during a storm, cold are coming through the vents in master bedroom and microwave. Finished trim work is poor. Had to replace the stove-fire hazard. That’s just a few. It’s under warranty but no one has come over to fix those listed above for a month. Contractor told us to wait about 6 months to see if the roof leaks again. Extremely disappointed!

Too many miscommunication with loan and builder

We have had a great experience so far with everyone involved. We have a few minor cosmetic issues being addressed promptly. We would tell any potential new home buyers to get ready to move into a great new home. Sincerely, Mike and Ellen

Jessica was a very positively involved part of the process. She sent photos with her status weekly status update. The builder, Mike, did an excellent job of being involved in the weekly meetings. Our only concern comes to the contractors. We have a mostly small list of issues that are in the subcontractors hands. They don’t seem to be responding in a timely manner.

There were very many issues we had at closing of our home/ I fully understand all the delays in supply issues and getting permits from county. In the beginning, we were getting weekly updates, keeping us posted on progress of the house. There we many issues we had found upon checking out our house as it was in the building process. We purchased a Camden model with Option B kitchen. It seemed that contractors did not know how to read blueprints. When we signed the contract to purchase, we picked out all our design. options. The signed contract had a linen closet in the 2nd bathroom. Upon checking out the house, the closet was being closed up We brought it to Stacy's attention, and he said there was not a linen closet in 2nd bathroom... We told him to look at the plans. He checked and agreed. This was fixed, but if we hadn't found it, it would have been not put in. Since we had the Option B kitchen, which has an island instead of the peninsula that the standard Camden model has, this option, caused many mix-ups. We discovered that the island in our kitchen did not have electric hook up. We again brought this to Stacy's attention. He said that electric was indeed installed int the island... We asked him to check this out. He did, and agreed that there was no electric hoop up... They would have to dig a ditch in our kitchen floor... I am just happy that we discovered this before the floors were installed. The Option B kitchen has a full walk-in pantry in a different location from the standard Camdem. We came in to discover that we did not have pantry shelves, but instead pantry shelves were installed in the coat closet near the garage entry way. Again, we discovered this and had to bring to Stacy's attention. At some point Stacy was out sick I understand he was very ill; however, things were overlooked. Another check on our house we walked in our master bedroom and the master bath linen closet door was taken out. The house had been painted and looked very nice. The master bath looked great ... On a check we found the linen closet door jamb had been removed. No one we asked knew why the door was taken out and replaced. We were wondering if they had the wrong house... It was put back in. They did not change the hinges, or reverse the door opening... It was mysteriously taken out and replaced. The drywall installers covered up 2 internet cables. and a ceiling light in the kitchen and the ceiling light in the 3rd bedroom closet. CPI came in and put multiple 12-inch holes [ we have photos] in our front bedroom and in our Master, bedroom walls looking for the internet boxes. that he the drywall installers had covered. up. We had sighed a paper with CPI and had a drawing of where the internet boxes were to be installed. After our floors were installed, we came to the house during a rainstorm house to see sliding door was open We closed it, but waster was in the tracks of the sliding door. This was brought to Stacy's attention. This was several weeks prior to closing. We were concerned about the floors. Monday August 8th was the day of our walk through before our Friday August 12 closing. We had several issues that. were addressed. Stacy was not there; he had been out sick several weeks. The morning of our closing, we arrived at 845am for our scheduled 9 am walkthrough. We had a 10 AM closing at the law firm. We were not allowed int the house, because the air test was being done. It did not pass several times Finally, it passed. We got in our house 940 for our 9 am walkthrough. I find it hard to believe that this test was not scheduled before morning of closing. There were several things still not taken care of. Our 2nd bathroom had a hole in the sink. We were told it was a faulty mold, and on the following Tuesday, August 16th the sink would be replaced. The plumber showed up before they removed the faulty sink.... The sink was removed but it was almost 2 weeks before the plumber came back to hook up the plumbing. This was after we spoke with Stacy about it. He had the plumber come right out then The afternoon of our closing, we had a terrible rainstorm with torrential rain. We came back to the house to see water on floors and the sliding door track overflowing. I had towels and paper towels trying to soak up the water. We reached out to Mike who came over and said he would have to send someone over to come to drill the drain plugs. This was an issue that was pointed out several times... We had water on floors. We were informed we have a year if we see any lifting of the flooring There were several broken screens. which since then have been replaced. After making several calls to Beazer, and no one would reach out to us, After a few weeks, a very nice man, Rudy met with us and spent extended time going over all our concerns. He has been taking care of quite a few of our issues. He keeps in touch and responds to us and check to see if the work items have been taken care of. He contacts the contractors. and has them contact to us . He is an asset to Beazer... We feel that after closing on the house no one cares. Beazer has our money. We also feel that there is no quality control to check on completed work, in progr.ess. There are still issues with the painting. Some of the drywall and painting is sloppy. We want to report the workers leaving trash and food all over. We came many times to find containers of rotten food in house, open bags of doughnuts, soda cans fast food sodas, fast food and all the trash. I was often collecting these items from our house and putting in the trash. Even now, after moving in house, we still have trash blowing in our yard and front lawn. from workers food and construction material On the weekends we often see children of workers in houses playing on construction sites This has to be a safety issue.. ... Our New Home Consultant and Construction Manager went over and above to provide us an exceptional home buying / building experience. They remained in contact with us throughout the entire process and kept us updated on progress and always answered any questions we had. Building a home can be very stressful and they made it seamless with such positive attitudes. We cannot thank them enough.

The entire team was Great to work with! From the beginning of the process through the end. John provided weekly updates and Mike always made himself available to answer any question! We enjoyed our home buying experience very much!

Great person. Very honest. Always helpful

It was just shy of a year to get a modest home without upgrades. People have babies in less time. In addition there were other homes labeled as 'quick move-ins' that were started significantly after our home was started, but completed much quicker than ours. Needless to say, not happy! The build quality seems good so far, but time will tell. We did get a THIRD builder during the process and he has been very good and quite possibly the reason we are in our new home now.

I want to thank Penny and Josh for all their great help during the construction and move to our new home. Everything was on schedule and completed in a timely manner. All our questions were answered as requested during this process. My wife and I want to thank everyone involved.

From day one talking to Brad who is a no pressure and very knowledgeable laid everything out to the tee. He had answers for every question even on one of his days off which was all me forgetting which days he was off. Also Phil has been a gem calling to see if things got fixed and even stopping by just in passing while I was outside just to double check things. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends or family without hesitation. A 10+ experience.

So far so good…we love our home and community!

This is our second Beezer Home . The first one we owned for 12 plus years . We shopped for close to 4 years for a larger home and decided to stick with a builder we know , and can trust . We continue to hear horror stories from our friends who went with other builders . Our home closed almost 2 months ago and we have had very little issues with the house ,and anything that does go wrong , they have a wonderful warranty system set up . You just call and someone gets right back to you . I have not needed the emergency numbers (i.e Gas leak , water leak ) but have them handy on a sheet they provide . Very happy with this purchase ... The entire construction management team we’re extremely competent, informative, & genuinely courteous.

Our home was a spec house. We walked in and fell in love. Beazer helped us obtain our financing too. Everyone we dealt with was very professional, nice and went out of their way to help us close on our new home. Thank you!
