2 months after moving in we still have items from the exception list that are not completed. I feel I've had to stay diligent on other items of concern which I don't feel should be necessary for wanting things fixed the way they should have been the first time. Beyond that we are happy with our home.

Overall construction was fine but never completed the punch list of items and wouldn’t return phone calls. Once they get their money then they disappear so make sure everything is done before closing.

Closed September 11th, 2024 still many issues not remedied. Jeremy was our builder agent more than 10 things were not complete before closing though he told us multiple times he had it under control. He needs a lot of training and was not able to explain most systems to us. Joel saved most issues Jeremy is a -0- Joel is 5 though so not everything was bad. Jeremy is a very lazy kid he just wanted to blame others for issues. Jeremy also told us many things we should have noticed before closing that were not possible as no exterior caulking and many inside items were not completed until after ...

Great energy efficient but cheap kitchen cabinetry and paints. crazy lot premium costs

Beazer has very streamlined process. There is nothing much to add considering their magnitude of projects. The main question is the value to your money. It might be very attactive with initial lower costs, but they quickly add up in their upgrades and crazy lot premium costs. Considering the lot sizes they have and the house plans it doesn't make sense to me. They have in built some or almost un noticeable cost cuttings or cheap materials unless you live in the house. The paints of the house are cheap even with upgrades and they don't even leave anything behind for any quick fix ups after ...

I was originally soooo excited to move - talked with a sales agent on two different occasions that I would get to design the home and that the backyard would be 20’ by 20’…fast forward to walk though and there were many issues including the fact that they were now telling me the backyard would only be 20’ by 14’ which is a massive difference. I had a list of things to be fixed and only half of them were done by the time of closing and the rest went on exception list. I also had a rough time dealing with their “preferred lender” hindsight I should have gone with my own as I didn’t get a very ...

Lipstick on a pig. It looks pretty, however they use cheap subcontractors that do the job quick but not with good quality. I have many things breaking inside the home within 30 days of living. They will reassure you that you have a warranty, but don't be fooled because they send 1 guy to do a 2 person job, with multiple trips, who will damage and ding up the rest of your stuff while fixing what was originally broken. I dont have trust in the home quality.

I don't think i would recommend Beazer homes given we had so many issues with the building process, getting anyone to help and listen to us. My experience has been relatively disappointing throughout. Started off with a $8,000 Closing Credit that changed overnight to $5,000 when allowed to sign. Builder assured/promised the HOA wasn’t going to raise fees (they jacked up the fees right after closing with their preferred HOA company that makes money off of the owners of the homes.) Their vendors screwed up the shower, I still don’t have mirrors two months after closing. They rushed me to close, and then didn’t bother to follow up on half the items I pointed out on the punch list. Months later I’m filing warranty claims. They built ...

Poor craftsmanship and lack of effort

The quality of craftsmanship and effort putting these homes is poor. Our house was $900,000 to build and the cement on our back patio AND in our garage started crumbling before we even moved in. Tile work was poorly done and had to be torn out and replaced. The grout is unevenly spaced and for a bathroom that is all gray they put in brown grout which doesn’t make sense. We have been through two construction managers already in the past nine months. I would not recommend Beazer to anybody.

Overall, a bad experience. Would ask our sales contact questions on status of home build and they would either ignore our questions or push us off to another contact who would not respond in a timely manner. If there were updates on the home, it was about a week late, as we would drive by the home ourselves and see the updates first hand. It was frustrating as a home buyer to have inconsistent communication with no accountability. Our move in date was also moved multiple times due to supply chain and labor issues. This led to the builder not completing the finishes in a professional manner. ...

While we love our new home, the entire experience was diminished by not being able to construct a fence. Before contracting, we asked about fencing our yard as this was one of our top priorities when choosing a lot and a builder. We were ensured this would not be a problem. Unfortunately, we were told by the city after closing on our house that we would lose over half of our yard if we were to fence it in. This ruined our entire experience as we invested a LOT of money for a home we now are unhappy with. While this has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the home or the initial ...

Overall this has been a disappointing experience. Our home has had so many issues. We have had construction crews in almost daily and things torn up everywhere. In almost every case we have needed a repair, Beazer has sent their “expert” (actually a rookie handyman at best, who even admits they are) who then makes the issue worse. Then they have to send another crew to repeat or repair even more the next time. We have had our sink get destroyed then need replacing. To replace it they had to take counter off, when they slammed it back down it caused separation all around they have to fix now. ...

The building process was great. Wonderful communication entire time but once I closed I couldn’t get repairs done. The stain on my wood stair treads was horrible and rubbed off every time I wiped them with a damp clotht, there is paint in my grout and on my tile floors, and there was never a screw or screw hole put in the bottom portion of my front door handle, and the concrete as you enter the garage was chipped and jagged, was repaired, and is already starting to crumble again. Good communication and nice people but the quality of construction is poor. I honestly can’t recommend Beazer ...

Closing date was pushed back multiple times. On final walk thru a list was generated by Beezer of items needing fixed. 2 months later still not corrected. Stopped into office to inquire about list and was told that I now have to go thru the warranty dept. So we were lied to on closing day that issues would be remedied without having to file a warranty claim. Also told on closing day we could only call warranty dept one time. Not very happy with Beezer at all.

Your home will not even closely resemble the model in any way. Nothing is centered, paint is sloppy, caulking and grout is sloppy. Doors and transition strips (none between wood and carpet) poorly installed. Security doors don't close and latch correctly. The contractors leave their trash & mess everywhere. The buying portion was great. However, we have seen nothing but inconsistency from home to home, even the same model being built next to us isn’t done the same. It seems as though some folks are offered a ‘secret menu’ with different options that we wished we’d have known about while building. Very disappointing. We also figured out that your builder doesn’t care about any issues you have with your home once you’ve filled out a survey on how he did. We also were told we couldn’t adjust certain things, while the home next to us has those adjustments made to it, which is being built after our ...

I love my new home and especially the community but I have found it difficult to get issue inside of or pertaining to my home fixed after the purchase. It almost seems as though they will apse you until closing day and then you are on your own. While it appears that the main structure of the home is great, I have found a lot of the finishing are poorly done.
