Cabinets even upgraded are MDF. Closet shelves were not hung on any studs. They already fell down. I fixed them by mounting them in the studs where I could and GOOD drywall anchors and screws where I couldn't hit a stud. Trades seemed sloppy and not finished well. Lots of imperfections and cheap materials are abundant. HOA doesnt seem to enforce the rules. Already had to have HVAC techs out twice to fix issues were it was installed wrong. Again sloppy trade work. Ridgeline shingles were cracked from roofers stepping on them. Once again trades dont care. I'm sure there will be more found.

Just another house builder cutting corners

We are now in the house for six weeks and they still haven’t completed everything they owe us. If they do complete something, its not done completely. Example: they painted our house including the ceilings tan which we only paid for the walls to be painted tan and per contract the ceilings white. They did paint the ceilings white but they did not take down the light fixtures so when we installed ceiling fans we now have tan rings around the light fixtures! Another example when we closed on the house they let all the sod die. It looked like a abandoned shack. They still haven’t done ...

I was in love with my new home until everything started to fall apart. I do not believe that this home was built with integrity and seems that the job was rushed. I moved in a month ago and not even a day later I started having issues with my appliances, plumbing, drywall, ceiling, and my mailbox was even knocked over by a construction truck. All of which I understand things happen. With that being said when I reported each of these issues none were resolved in a timely manner. For example, my oven/microwave started smelling and I reported it and it’s been over 4 weeks that I have been able ...

We have had many issues in our new home, some of which we are still waiting on being resolved. This whole process of moving into a brand new home you might as well get used to the idea that it's not going to be perfect. Everyone has issues with there new homes, but we have had more issues than anybody should have in a new house. Siding issues, plumbing issues, drywall issues, flooring installed poorly, dishwasher not hooked up from builder, windows hard to open even after repair, air conditioning issues on first floor, sewage backup after 1 month, and on and on. House seems structurally sound however just had forth visit to get hvac balanced window problem took 6 weeks to correct. Drawer that was broken when our walk-thru took a month to get fixed. Front yard was sodded rear seeded I had to reseed. It has been a terrible struggle for us. The design center failed us in selections and relaying them to the builder. We had 3 leaks in the roof before CO. The brick was wrong color, a urine yellow stain ran through it. The factory said it was a defect in the brick coloring. The company was forced to paint the brick. The painting and trim work is less than mediocre. The cement work is horrible. The fireplace stone work had to be redone over and over again. Toilet were not centered( instead of a 12 to six placing , they were a 1-7position. There is little plumb, squared or level. Work was done ...

Though we love the space and design of our home, the build, materials and contractors used are less than sub par. The builder doesn’t focus on customer satisfaction rather throwing the houses up and getting them sold to move on to the next. There isn’t one family I’ve spoken to in our new neighborhood who hasn’t had some sort of issue before and after closing. They have one person working all complaints after the closing period so nothing gets resolved quickly. Buyer beware if you go the Beazer route and I’m actually being nice!

I have lived in my house for two months and had the sewer pipes back up twice. This last time the sewage backed up into my two downstairs bath tubs. It also overflowed into my garden in the front yard. Totally unacceptable and a health hazard. Beazer sent a plumber out twice to clean out the pipes. There is only one person living in the house and I work six days a week. The plumber has said to me twice the line needs to have a camera put in it to see what is blocking it. Don't be fooled by the response letter you will get from them stating that they will be InTouch with you in two days ...

Moved in a month ago. I have already had 4 doorknobs fall off, had to have drywall repaired from poor installation, hvqc stopped working, tile needing to be replaced, and light fixtures needing to be replaced. Beazer uses the cheapest material they can and do a terrible job installing it. If you buy from beazer, literally micro manage every step of the process. They will do everything they can to not do things correctly until you force their hand by wanting to back out.

Will not recommend. Our "new" home has multiple defects that do not even need an inspection - it's outright inferior workmanship. The walls are unfinished, flooring is uneven, creeky staircases - to name a few. Several items were pending post-closing that are just labeled as pandemic-related delays. Overall, the build quality is certainly well below expectations. Will consider & recommend other builders for future purchases.

If buying a home from Beazer homes, please make sure you do a walk through every week to make sure your home is build properly and you are getting what you pay for. If not, you will be buying a home that will needs thousands of dollars worth of work after you close on the home.
