We had a great experience with Beazer builders, the home building quality is top notch, we had great experience with the staff from the weekly update with Mr. Robert to the quick responses from Brett regarding our questions. We are very happy with the finish product and excited to call Herrington home.

Nice homes but have some more noises when someone walking on the 2nd floor.

Staci and Jerry were amazing!

Staci and Jerry have been so helpful and informative throughout the entire process! The only thing that my wife and I are disappointed about, is our backyard grading. We've submitted warranty request, but communication with the grader has been less than ideal. We have had standing water in our backyard since we moved in, and it tends to attract insects.

Prompt to answer my concerns....however, Beazer needs to offer more choices. Only a couple of choices especially if you do not upgrade. The model of course has all of he upgrades and then your cost becomes much higher if you institute these upgrades. Again, Brad, my project manager is the best and made the overall experience a great one.

Beazer Homes - Earnest money deposit requirement should be disclosed at earliest

Earnest money deposit requirement should be disclosed at earliest buyer interest and showing. Other builders do not require this I am told. Although I had this covered, it impacted my overall budget for funds needed for moving and logistics.

Overall, very happy with our home and glad we purchased with beazer. However, days after closing we noticed quite a few items that need to be addressed and am still waiting for a call to be returned. Jeff and Angelo were very pleasant to work with.

Good and not so good

For the most part, My experience was good. A few issues were (1) lack of design options (2) turnover in project managers although they were all very nice (3) the biggest complaint is getting my mail and the central mailbox situation. I’m still not getting my mail almost 60 days after closing. They are trying to save money installing central mail center instead of mailboxes at everyone’s home. I don’t live in an apartment community and we should have a mailbox in front of our home. Coordination with the post office has been a nightmare that still is ongoing.

Great Team, Many Repairs

So far everything has been great. The service request I have called in, have been scheduled for a month out (which seems to be a lot of time for a new home repair). There was an improper drainage system put in the side yards, so they constantly flood and are a MUD PIT full of mosquitos. The grass can’t grow. Really disappointed that if you are going to put homes this close together, the least you could do is make sure the shaded side yards aren’t flooding and muddy.

Love my new Beazer home but still a few issues to fix

My wife and I really love our new Beazer homes, we have gotten numerous compliments on the home and it’s interior finish and design . Although there are some issues to fix such as grout in the bathroom tile cracking and some issues with the finishing of the backyard we love our home. We hope to hear back from Beazer soon about drainage issues in the backyard.

The service of the salesman, head of construction and follow up customer service is good. Sub-par on the quality on some of the materials and sub-contract work. Many bowed walls and rough/poorly done drywall jobs. Stairs are a mess from chips/dents ruined during construction and filled in with wood filler.

The Beazer family is a great group to work with. Tom was a real asset to whole process. We had a great experience with the purchase and during the building process. Things moved along very well and quickly. However after moving in and getting settled there are some issues. The grout that is used in the home is a sanded grout which tends to crack and deteriorate over time faster than unsanded. The drywall team does quick work but leaves room for error that have to be address later. I would advise home buyer to not rush the process but to allow the home to set and settle after the new ...

The quality of the house is good over all. We like the plan/design of the community. However, we have some HVAC and water issue very early on, and is still working with warranty to resolve the issues.

The builder is great, home is beautiful! but their preferred lender was a nightmare and Beazer is still referring customers to them which is just so disapointing

The builder is great, home is beautiful! Everyone we worked with at Beazer has been nothing but wonderful! However, their preferred lender was a nightmare and almost ruined everything for us, cost us an additional $10k, delayed our closing for almost a month where we had to go to a different lender when we had waited 10 months for the home to be built. The most dishearting part was Beazer not doing anything about the lender, after an epic disaster like this, I can not believe Beazer is still referring customers to them which is just so incrediblly irresponsible.
