Disappointing Craftsmanship; Great Sales Person

Our experience with working with the Sales Representative, Tom, was great. Tom was very thorough and supported us through the entire sales related process. However the build craftsmanship was mediocre at best. Too many issues to report them all. In summary, no attention to detail - appeared speed of completing (in some cases, not completing) task was the goal. And, the landscaping in terms of grading and sod was horrible. Sod laid on top of large rocks, plastic trash, even a broken pressure gage was the norm.

House seems structurally sound however just had forth visit to get hvac balanced window problem took 6 weeks to correct. Drawer that was broken when our walk-thru took a month to get fixed. Front yard was sodded rear seeded I had to reseed. Sod has all kinds of gaps which makes walking on it difficult apparently the ground beneath had not been make smooth and squares instead of rolls used making more seams. The service of the salesman, head of construction and follow up customer service is good. Sub-par on the quality on some of the materials and sub-contract work. Many bowed walls and rough/poorly done drywall jobs. Stairs are a mess from chips/dents ruined during construction and filled in with wood filler.

The Beazer family is a great group to work with. Tom was a real asset to whole process. We had a great experience with the purchase and during the building process. Things moved along very well and quickly. However after moving in and getting settled there are some issues. The grout that is used in the home is a sanded grout which tends to crack and deteriorate over time faster than unsanded. The drywall team does quick work but leaves room for error that have to be address later. I would advise home buyer to not rush the process but to allow the home to set and settle after the new ...

My home buying experience with Beazer has been extremely positive. Everyone from Beazer seems to take pride in their work and go the extra step to make sure that as a home buyer I am completely satisfied. I am very happy with my home, the quality of construction is awesome and aesthetically our home is vey. Great community,l and definitely no buyers remorse.

Bad service cheap quality

Very bad material quality used in my new house, a lot of issues with my new house in my first 2 weeks like my heater stop working, my water pipes became a part and it took them one day to fix it and I stayed without water for one day, my backyard landscape unbalanced so water staying in my yard and so many other issues with my house, I thought if I buy a new house that will give me peace of mind for at least 5 years or so but unfortunately NOT.

I have a lot of issues in my new house 2018 new construction and so far I did not find the person who can help and sort out all of these issues and the most of the materials which was used to build the house is very cheap materials

Beazer’s customer service was amazing until after we moved in. Once we closed in our home, no one cared to make sure things were satisfied to our liking. Too many “corners” were cut to save time & money. (For example: having to have our brand new home repainted, because upgraded paint is still flat builder-grade, spray paint.)

We have lived in our brand new house for almost 5 months and we are still having issues in our house that were never fixed. Some of these issues are from the inspection done a month before we even closed on the house. The more we live in the house, the more we see the flaws in the workmanship of the sub contractors because their only goal is to do the work as fast as they can to move on to the next house, even if that means cutting corners or doing sub standard work. Beazer needs to get new vendor partners to replace Symspire and Kaiser. There should be 2 HVAC units instead of a split unit. Other than that everything has been handled well.

2 months after moving in we still have items from the exception list that are not completed. I feel I've had to stay diligent on other items of concern which I don't feel should be necessary for wanting things fixed the way they should have been the first time. Beyond that we are happy with our home.

Overall construction was fine but never completed the punch list of items and wouldn’t return phone calls. Once they get their money then they disappear so make sure everything is done before closing.
