I would say the experience in buying was great but the wait was not so great. Many issues needed to be addressed once we moved in and they have done well in completing them but not enough information/instructions on appliances and functional items for future projects and repairs.

Beazer Homes responded:
Virginia, thank you for sharing with us. At Beazer, we strive for greatness in all we do so it's concerning to us when we hear there are issues with the customer's homes. We are so glad to know that your team has been able to resolve any reported warranty items for you. We'll be sure to pass along your feedback so we can help build a better Beazer going forward. Building phase is great but no QA Inspection team for first walk through to measure the quality of built house

The sales and building phases are great. Design upgrade center really screws the customer. It has to really flexible for the amount of money poured by the customer. Also no inspection team from Beazer for first walkthrough to measure the quality of construction by the contractors. Average ratings from me.

Beazer Homes responded:
At Beazer Homes we have the confidence and experience that comes from nine generations of home building. We provide flexibility at no additional cost with our Choice Plans® that offer flexible floorplan configurations or “Room Choices” that allow you to influence the design of your new home at no additional cost. Overall, I'm happy with place. Of course there are problem that arise, but they are really quick to fix or repair items. The staff is good and really professional Harry and now Jackson have really helpful. Beazer has a really good track record in the industry and that was one of reason why we went them. Beazer's lender Thrive Morgage was the difference in our situation and they worked with us to the end. We feel really fortunate purchasing at Bayside and it will be a great community once everything is done.

Beazer Homes responded:
Maurice, thank you for sharing this great review. We are thrilled to see that our Mortgage Choice program helped you pair with a lender that was able to make your purchase one that is worth while. We will be sure to pass along your kind words to Harry and Jackson's teams. From all of us here at Bayside, welcome to the neighborhood! - Roland ...

My purchase experience was good overall. The home advisor was thorough in answering my questions throughout the initial process. I greatly appreciated the weekly communication from the builder; even during the weeks where nothing was happening due to supply chain issues. Their constant communication and quick response time has allowed me some measure of comfort and security in knowing I chose a good builder to work with. Most of the issues have occurred during the final weeks of the build, "celebration walkthrough"/new home orientation, and post closing. I've been told that what I ...

While we are sorry to hear that you experience after closing has not met your expectations, rest assured that our team of warranty professionals are here to assist in any way they can. We don't see that you've reported any of these items to our warranty team for review. I love my Beazer Home! It comes with a year warranty, so the little things that needed fixed, are being fixed as we speak. However, I was not offered window blinds in the beginning of the build! I'm the only house in my neighborhood and block that don't have blinds, it bothers me! I spoke with several people whom still have not resolved the issue for me, I still have not received a call back. Tomatoes! The home is absolutely gorgeous other than that!

Beazer Homes responded:
Shana, thank you for sharing with us. We're sorry to hear that your experience with the blinds has been less than desirable. We have reached out to the local division to ask that you be contacted for the blinds concern. We are thrilled, however, to hear that you are overall very happy with your new home and we wish you a lifetime of happiness in your new build. - Roland ...

They are following through after close, but it was a long painful build process. The lack of ability to remove the original general contractor has put the entire community behind schedule and at poor quality. Six weeks post close, we still do not have a functioning faucet in a bathroom.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Ryan. Our goal at Beazer is to ensure that every homeowner is provided with both quality care and a quality home. The buying process of working with Beazer was fine. No problems. The condition of the unit is another story. Had/have three doors with issues. One won't open without using brute strength, one won't close, and one can't be locked. Dishwasher supply line was not turned on. These are the functional issues. There are a number of cosmetic issues.

Started our home build in February 2021 and we closed Dec 2022. Construction delays aside, Beazer didn’t fully commit to keeping us in the loop of what was going on a weekly basis until the last few months of construction. We recognize that the pandemic made all things anything but normal, but we expected to be well informed at every step of the way and that wasn’t always the case. In the end, our home was completed the exact we wanted it and Beazer has had frequent contact with us to make sure that it stays that way.

Beazer Homes responded:
Arturo, we appreciate your feedback. It is wonderful to hear that our team is making sure your transition to your new home runs smoothly. Sales team ok. Builder gets a 5 star rating. House gets a 3. This house has the worst quality of finish work of any home i have ever owned. Your sub contractors do a terrible job. The texturing of my walls is terrible. Most walls have 2 or more obvious differences in the textures. It looks like kids came in and did it, not professionals who do it for a living. It needs to be totally redone but no way would i have your subcontractors come back in my house to do it.Same thing on back porch. Same thing on stone work and brick. Everything about the property was fine. However I was promised a $5000 credit if I used one of their choice mortgage companies. I did use one but got zero credit for it at closing. Also, within two weeks after moving in I had ants in my condo. i complained to Beazer and they told me that "This is on you." I had to call a pest control company to treat the condo which cost me $138.

Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, John. The building process was great. However, our oven wouldn’t work and it took a month for Whirlpool to come fix it. We just ran the heater for the first time and it wouldn’t heat. I called the Beazer warranty office and there was no sense of urgency. Someone reached out after hours and said they would have someone who is on call contact me but no one ever did. I am still waiting on someone to reach out this morning. When you spend this much money on a house, everything should work the first time.

First of all I’d like to praise Don, the Construction Manager. He’s gone above and beyond for us in ways he shouldn’t have had to. Our initial experience was with a salesman named Ryan. We fell in love with the floor plan before we even arrived so it didn’t take much for us to sign a contract. During that process we negotiated for a fridge and specifically chose a fridge & agreed on it. Ryan wrote the contract. Over the next few days Ryan sent us several versions of the contract because our real estate agent kept finding mistakes he’d made. Apparently Ryan got transferred to another ...

Worst new home I have owned (this is my 4th new home). Track home quality, fit and finish is terrible, nothing cleaned before being painted, all trim is rough, cracked, paint looks like a 2 year old did the work. Several cracks in walls after just 2 months. What a disappointing home. No builder pride in work and no quality control. Area is nice but home is rated at a 1 out of 5. Keep in mind the old cliché during the whole process of building a home to do your due diligence. Do not rely on much help or detailed advice when choosing extra amenities such as wiring for surround sound or surveillance cameras. Also don't assume your coax cables will be fully complete with necessary end connections attached. Those are little issues compared to a huge process to keep a close eye on.... your foundation and cement work. Make sure you inspect all floor areas for any dips or cracks. Overall we are happy with our home. However the construction manager overlooked many things that should have been fixed before it was put on the market. There is a cracked tile in the bathroom, kitchen cabinet doors have dents, small visible holes inside doors where staples were used, a small dent with no paint in between cabinets, cracked caulking in some corners and window seals and our sprinkler system is not working properly. We are waiting for all of these items to be fixed since we moved in August.
