Disappointed in the quality of the Beazer Home. Certainly not up to the standard I expected. People were friendly but had little work with. The lack of operating and warranty documentation was a concern The QR codes that were given were inactive. All in all I picked out Beazer because I expected a quality product. I was disappointed. No different than all the other builders that cut corners.

Blue Tape issues

Blue tape issues did not get fixed. We were told after we move in they would be completed. Due to us possibly scuffing up walls more. They would paint over that as well. Once in new home if they were to come fix issues it would void out 1 year warranties. We had signed contract meaning issues were fixed even though there was a verbal agreement and recording of it taken.

Lots of room for improvement

Beazer needs better quality control processes and oversight of contractors. We've worked with multiple builders over the years, and have found the quality control during construction to be lacking with Beazer. With that being said, the customer support team is good, polite, and friendly.

Overall we had a very positive experience with our sales consultant, Mark. He did everything in his power to get us the best possible price and connect us with a great mortgage company. We love our new home, but unfortunately within the first two weeks of living here we had a slew of issues. First, our HVAC system went out and took almost two weeks fix. Here in Texas it’s hot and humid, so you can imagine it was quite uncomfortable. It was good experience overall and we enjoyed it and we love our home. I am not satisfied with backyard because it was not leveled and grass is very low. Also, one of backyard sprinkler pipes was burst open and now we are waiting to get this fixed up.

I made a mistake of not adding every issue I found during the walk through in the exception list. The construction manager didn't fix more than 50% of the issues I had verbally told. It's a hassle to chase them once you close so make sure you get everything fixed before closing. Although the warranty manager is good but I think I made the mistake of trusting construction manager. I also don't think that the construction process should have taken this long. We had very high expectations for Beazer Homes especially for their build quality, but are very disappointed with the quality of the house, as we are noticing many issues with the build, and a very poor response from the construction manager. We were promised that the pending items will be fixed 45 days after closing, but the construction manager stopped responding right after we moved in. Unfortunately, the sales representative has been unreachable since signing the contract, leading to difficulties in the delivery of keys after the closing process. Additionally, they misplaced my mailbox keys, resulting in a delay of three to five days to obtain a replacement key despite numerous efforts and phone calls. The best part about buying our home was the sales consultant. She was thoughtful and knowledgeable about the home process. We do have a lovely home, but there are lot of incomplete details that still need to be done on the home after close.

Rushed closing resulting in low quality

Very impressed with model and other homes builder did. Our was pushed up a month to meet quarterly numbers and we feel very much this contributed to a lower quality build. So many items from framing to drywall have bad defects that are not being repaired by builder.

While doing our walk throughs we noted numerous items that had to be handled over 2-3 walk-throughs. The local team working with us did a great job and worked with us even though it took more than one walk through. On the final review, the VP attended and made it very clear we were, in his estimation, taking advantage of the process. I would say the experience in buying was great but the wait was not so great. Many issues needed to be addressed once we moved in and they have done well in completing them but not enough information/instructions on appliances and functional items for future projects and repairs.

Building phase is great but no QA Inspection team for first walk through to measure the quality of built house

The sales and building phases are great. Design upgrade center really screws the customer. It has to really flexible for the amount of money poured by the customer. Overall, I'm happy with place. Of course there are problem that arise, but they are really quick to fix or repair items. The staff is good and really professional Harry and now Jackson have really helpful. Beazer has a really good track record in the industry and that was one of reason why we went them. Beazer's lender Thrive Morgage was the difference in our situation and they worked with us to the end. We feel really fortunate purchasing at Bayside and it will be a great community once everything is done.

My purchase experience was good overall. The home advisor was thorough in answering my questions throughout the initial process. I greatly appreciated the weekly communication from the builder; even during the weeks where nothing was happening due to supply chain issues. I love my Beazer Home! It comes with a year warranty, so the little things that needed fixed, are being fixed as we speak. However, I was not offered window blinds in the beginning of the build! I'm the only house in my neighborhood and block that don't have blinds, it bothers me! I spoke with several people whom still have not resolved the issue for me, I still have not received a call back. Tomatoes! The home is absolutely gorgeous other than that!

They are following through after close, but it was a long painful build process. The lack of ability to remove the original general contractor has put the entire community behind schedule and at poor quality. Six weeks post close, we still do not have a functioning faucet in a bathroom.

The buying process of working with Beazer was fine. No problems. The condition of the unit is another story. Had/have three doors with issues. One won't open without using brute strength, one won't close, and one can't be locked. Dishwasher supply line was not turned on. These are the functional issues.
