They were very informative; addressed our concerns in a timely manner. They personalized & simplified the home buying experience for us. We especially like weekly updates during the construction phase & the new home orientation

The home buying process was very easy

Once you close, forget about customer service. Also, we've built with three builders and Beazer is by far the worst at paying attention to details. It's the small things in the house that make it a home and the workmanship and attention to detail is very poor. We spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and expect a perfect home.

Good service all round

Right from beginning I got very good inputs from sales rep although I was new to home buying. I visited few houses that were being built at that time to get better idea of different options in the house. Design center was also helpful and the house was built right on time! Would recommend it to others!

Ask as many questions as you need and they’ll answer the best they can! Enjoy the whole journey from picking your lot to closing day! Beazer is a great builder and we are excited to create new memories in our new home.

The quality of construction is exceptional. We are very satisfied now that we have moved in.

The whole process was a good experience - tension free. The whole team of Beazer home worked together to cherish our dream - to own a beautiful home in this nice neighborhood.

I understand that when purchasing a new home it’s not always going to be 100% perfect but this home had a TON of cosmetic issues. First, we called the contractor who promised to fix everything as soon as possible. A week went by and nothing got done. Then they sent their warranty guy to take a look and he said that there were a lot of issues and promised to get it done as soon as possible. My husband and I had to watch vendors come in and out of our home multiple times within the next few weeks with sub par work done!! The vendor themselves said that they were told to do minimal work and to just get it done!! We have one of them recorded. We had our plumbing taken out twice because apparently the wrong color counters were ordered. The tubs were all scratched up and the vendor told us that he would need to refinish both of them because they were too scratched up to do anything about. Cabinets, floors, kitchen and bathroom counters needed work as well as the front door!!! After all that I ask for some compensation for our wasted time and they said they don’t do that. Not only that but I had asked the corporate office to tell the warranty guy not to come into my home because I was uncomfortable with him and he came in anyway while some vendors were doing work. Neither I nor my husband let him in! And not only that he apparently had a trainee with him and didn’t ask permission for him to be in our home. I told my husband and he went and ask who he was. The warranty guy proceeded to yell at my husband so I asked him to leave so then he told the vendors to leave as well!! He was trying to twist my arms and say if I leave, the vendors will leave too. The VP of sales was actually on the phone with my husband at the time and when I told him what happened, his response was “you’re exaggerating” and he also asked what the big deal was since other vendors were already there. I don’t know about you sir but I don’t let random people in my home! He was roaming around!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! ... More

I Love my New Home, the Subdivision, I'm just in love with everything

this was my 1st home, and I could not be more happier with my experience, 1st day was crucial for me because that day was THE DAY! that me and my wife took the decision. i am so happy with Beazer home employees, they make me feel special from the beginning 'til today.

Needed lot of follow up with builder

Keep in mind the old cliché during the whole process of building a home to do your due diligence. Do not rely on much help or detailed advice when choosing extra amenities such as wiring for surround sound or surveillance cameras. Also don't assume your coax cables will be fully complete with necessary end connections attached. Those are little issues compared to a huge process to keep a close eye on.... your foundation and cement work. Make sure you inspect all floor areas for any dips or cracks. The builder who oversees is not necessarily an expert in the matter no matter how "sure" they may seem. If you have any doubt or questions, I'd seek an independent professional, even if it costs extra. Nothing more important than a solid, even foundation. Time will tell if I regret not following my instincts, but not having that peace of mind is not a great feeling. ... More

Great customer service

Very please with my new home in the Devonshire community.

Overall we are happy with our home. However the construction manager overlooked many things that should have been fixed before it was put on the market. There is a cracked tile in the bathroom, kitchen cabinet doors have dents, small visible holes inside doors where staples were used, a small dent with no paint in between cabinets, cracked caulking in some corners and window seals and our sprinkler system is not working properly. We are waiting for all of these items to be fixed since we moved in August.

We knew what to expect in every step of the building process.

Once you close. You are on your own. This house has been full of problems and no one cares now that they have their money. Things aren’t working. Having electrical problems. IES did a HORRIBLE job. I paid them to install 4 smurf tubes. Then when a company came to hang all the TV’s NOT ONE smurf tube was accessible. They had to FISH EVERYONE out of the wall which cost me a extra $400!!!!!! I called Rusty our contractor at that time, he came right over., took a picture, called IES and told them they had 30 mins to get someone here to get them out of the wall or they would pay the bill. No one showed up. I called Rusty back and he told me to proceed , send him the bill and he would send it to IES to pay. I’ve contacted IES and Rusty multiple times since then. I have received any money back. Electrical outlets currently aren’t working here. I’ve tried flipping the breakers. STILL not working. Can’t get sprinklers to work correctly. One tree has died. I could go on and on. The bottom line is NO ONE CARES AFTER you close and they get their money!!!! Very disappointed in Beazer. ... More

Very poor management/ builder. No verification is done by builder after each major work is done by contractor. Did not use enough cement and send ration, not strong. My suggestion is builder need to review / talk with customer before each major work/construction is done. Make sure both are same page.

We had a great experience buying our new house. Customer service was awesome at Erwin Farms but I can not say the same about the final product. I am disappointed with some finishes in our home, for instance, french doors, baseboards, caulking, wall texture poorly finished. We pay a high price for the house and were expecting a much better quality.
