Good in spite of a few flaws

Overall we are enjoying our new home even with a few design flaws that we couldn’t change when building. We’re waiting with anticipation to see how efficient this house will be in the winter, so far it’s doing pretty well with the summer heat. Hoping to be here for many years.

Perhaps my perception of buying a new home was that all agreed would be ready before the final walk prior to closing. However, it was not the case for us but Beazer has done what they can to close out the open items within short amount of time. My suggestion to all buyers is to ensure that you frequently visit your home during the build and look thru your contract to ensure all agreed buy you and the builder has been done. Overall experience was good with Beazer however, Christopher our builder was rude to my wife and father in law when conducting walk throughs. This business should be all about customer service and he should keep that in mind.

Overall building process was okay. I just kept finding little things that needed fixing. They would come fix them under warranty. But my sprinklers were leaking slowly underground for a whole month and my water/waste bill was $800. Beazer came fixed the leak but refused to reimburse me for the bill, they said that’s between me and the water company. The water company doesnt adjust it so now I’m out of $800 for Beazer’s mistake

Overall the experience wasn’t terrible, but there were so MANY issues and problems that it made the experience unpleasant. It wasn’t one terrible issue, but rather several small issues constantly. The quality of the finished home also didn’t match what I felt I paid for.

Long Process that required oversight of builder

There were significant construction delays in the building process. This was not due to COVID as other builders had much faster progress and turn around times. Several items were installed incorrectly, and I had to make weekly visits to monitor progress and point out items that needed to be fixed that were missed by the construction manager. The end result is very nice; however, it took a lot of work and pressing with the construction manager to take my concerns seriously and fix what needed to be fixed.

Pavement at the entrance already has several cracks in it. My lawn front and especially the backyard is nothing but weed, little bit of grass infront Badly fitted back door. Might as well leave door open for big spiders and other pests. It’s at least 1/8 inch gaps between door and door frame. When we call, it’s always someone else’s area to address the issue The shower always leaves poddle of water on the bathroom floor, every time. I was happy and would have given at least a 4 star, until I actually moved into the home

I was not happy with build of home. A lot pf mistakes were made,but covered with sloppy detail. I wanted things foxed correct first time ans wasn't. Still ha ing AC issue after they been out 3 times and refused to listwn to my wishes after I hired my own AC man for second opionion. Advised how to correcg problem,and still only made there minor adjustments which still havwnt fixed problem. I was not happy with built of my home nor would recommend to anyone.

Rollercoaster ride

It started off good then things went haywire. From the appliances being stolen, closing date moved a few times, My great interest rate snatched from me, it could have been better, there was just too much going on I believe if John and Todd had stayed on the experience would have been much better as far as customer service goes., but at least I closed better late than never.

The build quality and materials used are satisfactory. However, the building experience with the front face team needs to be seriously addressed! The building team is basically a scheduler but has an attitude of I don’t care. As time is passing after closing in our home, the “We are here” even after we close is simply a lie. Just another transaction and its sad to know that its the same regardless of the builder. We have not received responses from our builder, area manager, the warranty person isnt helpful either. He pushes to always say it isnt covered, but did I really have to pull the warranty myself, screen shot, to show him it is? Now those issues are soon to be fixed. The homes are beautiful, but it’s a shame of how little regard goes into the construction process! We have moved into our new home after the final walk through, and found many imperfections in the final outcome. You really need a good final inspector to oversee your construction before the final walk through! Now that we are moved in, we have found too many errors and lack of oversight on craftsmanship and this is very unfortunate. I use to do this for David Weekly years ago and the builder was satisfied with my work and it should be applied to all your new homes!

Awful experience overall! First, the title company they use, First American Title Insurance Co was awful to deal with. Second, Beazer Homes either rushed or delayed completing the home as per their convenience and did not heed our requests. They also did not adjust price of the house to be in line with the market as the housing market was declining rapidly. Finally, the pre-delivery home inspection was acceptable (notionally) in terms of expectations, however, they did not properly and thoroughly clean the house. Bad quality and cutting corner.

My home was subpar quality. They rushed at the end to finish deadline, so they could earn quarterly bonus. They did cut corner and my home was subpar quality: scratches all over the home, cracked floors, grouts were missing, doors still have holes and not paint correctly, and list go on etc.

Poor Customer service

Very very Poor Customer Service. Not recommended for first time home buyer. It looks like they use poor quality materials for building. Poor door sealing system. AC system built poorly. Bedroom temperature does not match the rest of the house. It is too cold compared to rest of the house and same with master bedroom. It feels like there is no insulation, because bathroom stays colder than Bedroom and Bedroom stays colder than rest of the house. So, when i adjust the temperature for bedroom it gets hot in other parts of the house. And, my house is just 1 floor.

Worst people ever

Closed the house at the end of June, wasn’t complete, they never gave me time for final walk and said all the fix will be done soon, not true still waiting for stuffs to be fixed. Sales lady (Erin) wasn’t helpful at all after the earnest money contract. Bad experience, if it wasn’t the location I wouldn’t have bought the house.
