Well designed house

Beazer has a good purchasing method that makes buying and financing very easy. They provide you with Financing options that compete to give you the best interest rate. I just wish they will improve their Master bath designs and their choice of light switches, on most of their floor plans, otherwise they build very energy efficient homes.

I think everyone did a good job answering all our questions.

They were a joy to work with. Very informative and helpful throughout the entire process. Even after everything was completed I continued to stay in touch with the builder and he continued to help me with odds and ends.

Overall good experience. With some sub workmanship lacking which required a lot of follow up.

Beazer has a great homes, employees, and service....but has some vendors, mainly one, the security people that like lying and taking advantage of new homeowners. I don’t understand how such a good company likes to be associated with such a company that admits to ripping people off.

Good except since I was living in SA buying here felt a bit diconnected from knowing what I could upgrade or design differently the day I moved into the house it was dirty sawdust on the floor and very dusty doors and counter tops and paint on the floor no welcome like a dusty welcome

Great, fast build! Everyone was really friendly and easy to work with. Scheduling went well about 90% of the time. The only issue we had was that we were not told that a garage door opener did not come standard in the house until we were in our second to last walk through. Otherwise no issues with our home!

Excellent home so far, very spaced

Shelly was awesome. She really did her best to go the beyond too help me with my concerns. She was a joy too work with and everybody else who were giving approvals were being patient with my issue. They were very understanding and patient. Thanks.

I selected Beazer due to the great sales person , location, and focus on quality and energy savings. I loved the community and selected Beazer over the other options in the community and over a larger home in another community for the same price. . I was pleased I could break my initial deposit into 3 equal installments. I believed my sales lady wanted to help me and she wasn’t pushy. She was always friendly and professional every time I came by to look at the model homes or had a question. I liked that they had several lenders that they used to help provide the best loan for me. It wasn’t until my first meeting with the builder that I learned that the lot I selected and already put the deposit on has a 14 ft utility easement. I think I should have been told that before I put the money down. I was kept informed / updated throughout the building process through weekly emails. My questions were answered. On the final walkthrough I learned my sales person no longer was working in my community ( I learned later she was not with Beazer, I didn’t know this either) . On closing day , which was a bit earlier than anticipated, I was informed that my home and the home next door were the fastest builds. I can now see why. Instead of hurrying to get things done early—-take the extra one- two weeks to check things - I have had to call on several items (not emergencies) but things that should have been taken care of if not in such a hurry. The following items are all less than 60 days from closing :clothes rod too short so when clothes were hanging it fell, brick broken, tape left on all recess lights inside and out, toilet paper holder not installed and the other was wobbly, transition plate not meeting up with the flooring, rotting fence boards, doors not correctly painted. This is just some to name a few. I have great service from the warranty person to get things fixed. My neighbors moved in and THEIR Beazer builder had the lawn people come mow a week after moving in ( the neighbors didn’t know/ didn’t request it— the lawn people just showed up). Additionally they now have a nice welcome home from Beazer sign in their yard. These things matter and make the company stand out. HOWEVER I did not receive either. So that’s a bit disheartening. Any reviews I gave up until now have been 5 stars, but as I reflect on the overall experience especially after getting in the home, unfortunately my rating be 4 ( maybe 3.5). ... More

James the contractor was spectacular.

This is our second home our first was a KB home and it was not built well. This Beazer home is built much better. This home is an inventory home which means we did not choose anything as far as most new homes go, it came built. It was nicely built with many nice upgrades. The Beazer people were very supporting and helpful. Of course nothing is perfect but this home is by far very good and we are extremely happy and would recommend these homes to anyone. Thank you Beazer for our beautiful new home!

Builder's staff was friendly, communicative, and provided information of the entire building and purchase process. Everything was done in a timely manner.

Beaver homes are well built with great insulation. Adding only their additional options, because these are not "custom homes". as I was told more than once, limits the purchaser to add-ons that they make available at their price in the show room. Subsequently, expect to pay more than you might initially anticipate. Or, wait until after closing and DIY.

Great house in a great neighborhood. Kevin at Beazer did a good job on our home. I’d build with them again.

Home is pretty much as expected but has taken months to find out how to get warranty repairs done and just as long to get the repairs done. Beazer needs to put something in place to make new buyers aware at closing or before on how to handle warranty claims and repairs. This is our second Beazer home but definitely wouldn't make the mistake again!

Home buying experience was decent but not exceptional given that some of the information provided wasnt accurate and also had some timeline and home quality issues. To their credit the issues were resolved quickly however having things repaired versus getting the correct first hand makes a difference.

House is great the general contractor was awesome, along with the studio. All other aspect with mortgage company and follow-up with sale team here not as expected. They were not knowledgeable.

It was OK, Michael and Corbin did a good job of walking me through the home buying and building process. They acted in a professional manner. There were instances however, where I would come to the house during construction and find some things that was not communicated during the reading of the materials in the contract. For example, finding out that there was no motor to the garage door. The expectation was that It would be standard, but it was not communicated to me, so I had find out myself and was not pleased at all. There were a few cases where I was surprised in learning that a few things were not in the house. I have mixed feelings with the buying process, I just feel like there were instances where the communication fell short and I felt like I had to settle on the house instead of getting the house I want. ... Interaction during building was great, working with Beazer on warranty items suffers from both lack of communication and follow-up from representatives

This was the second Beazer home I have purchased in the last 7 years. When I knew I needed to make a change, I spent some time deciding what I wanted to do. I was disappointed to see the reduced options Beazer was offering as compared to my previous purchase, but at the end of the day decided to go with them again based on my previous experience and primarily due to their energy efficient options. I will say they did work with me and allowed a few changes that were not being offered originally as the neighborhood I was looking at was one where Beazer had decided to “offer a few and build many”. In other words, you can only choose one of five themes and you got whatever Beazer had decided went in that theme with only a minimal amount of options available to change. I have been really disappointed with the quality of work as compared to my experience 7 years ago. They appear to be more focused on how many homes are being built as opposed to the quality. I was close enough that I had the opportunity to visit the building site every week. There were some issues during the process that caught my eye, including them cutting out some drywall after it was installed in order to make some repairs. I was told it was due to their still trying to get their subcontractors up to speed with their new requirements. I still don’t understand why the issue wasn’t noticed before the drywall went up other than they’re moving too fast. Even though I had an inspector come in and several things were addressed before I loved in, there is just a lot of sloppy workmanship throughout the house (paint splatters on the time floors, messy caulking and they didn’t even bite to clean the styrofoam out of the glass ball pendant lights before putting the mm up) and I had to submit a handful of warranty requests within the first week or so after moving in. One was because all of the door knobs were falling off. Another sign to me of the quality of the subcontractors work. I am just really disappointed in the quality of the workmanship on my new house compared to the one they built 7 years ago.
