As a first time buyer, the experience could have been better. Everything looks beautiful, until you look closer. After moving in I discovered so many little sloppy mistakes. Take my advise, on your walk through day, spend the entire day and look in every corner and behind every toilet on the floor. There was a piece of my fireplace that was chipped off and all they did was paint over it. There were tiles behind the toilets that weren’t grouted and much more. The houses are beautiful but the details were done so sloppy. If I could do it again I would scrutinize the details.

My initial experience was not good. My first Beazer real estate agent and I had a ratified contract that he annulled without my acknowledgement. My agent thought I knew about contract was cancelled and sold to another client. I told my agent to find out what's going on and I purchased another house same price next street over from original house. I had a bad experience with final walkthrough. This is why my score is a three.

Disappointing Air Conditioning and Water Heater in this Home.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the air conditioning system in this house. Despite the dimensions of the property, the air conditioning appears to be insufficient, it is annoying that we woke up every night sweating even though we set up the A/C @ 62 °F, and what is even worse we are in winter time I don’t want to imagine how it will get in summer. Upon examining the unit’s identification plate and the sizing chart, it is evident that the air conditioner should be twice its current size (current is 2 Tons, and according to the house dimensions should be 4 Tons). ...

Overall, good experience! I am dissatisfied with the unavailability of a built mailbox. It's inconvenient to retrieve my mail from the post office.

We purchased a Beazer Duet in The Highlands and closed in May 2023. The sales representative, Pam, has been absolutely fantastic both before and AFTER the sale! Can't say enough wonderful things about her - she is an asset to Beazer! We purchased an inventory townhome and had no input in its design. We noted several issues in our final walk-thru prior to closing. Then noticed several more issues after closing. Jason was helpful and had good communication with me. But the construction schedule and wait was difficult. I could not understand that I was the second to last house finished in my section. As my house was a one story, and 14 more lots were sold after I purchased mine. It was very difficult to the timing of completion. As I have cancer and was going through a divorce and needed the house to live in.

Shelley and John have walked us and helped us through the process and took there time explaining everything making multiple trips to help us do to my job! But now 1 month in, paint is bubbling and chipping off on the outside of the house, and the warranty guy is not helping at all with the problem. Door handles are falling off and the painted our house with the wrong color and they said they will come and fix it when we see spots of the other color and have only came once. And did not get everything we had marked.

Squeaking floor, wrong appliance

The house is nice in all, but the floor is squeaking upstairs, they repaired it but after it still squeaks. They put the wrong dishwasher, I haven’t notice before and now I don’t know if they will replace it.

My closing date was pushed up by 2 months, and the way I was supposedly notified was via email. Finally Beazers salesman called me to let me know I was in a violation of my contract ( because I haven't locked an interest rate in), and that's how I found out. The product that produced was good, but the hassle with it all had me wanting to backout at least 3 times during the process.

The overall experience was satisfactory. There were/are concerning issues; interior and exterior build quality (minor) and quality assurance related to interior design selections (moderate). The responsiveness of the Beazer Team has been exceptional, both construction manager and customer service. We love and are enjoying our new home. Beazer stole us from Taylor Morrison thanks to Thuan. Thuan was amazing from the beginning and even now that we have been in our Beazer home for 2 months. Jake on the other hand was not pleasant to work with. From making excuses, lying, no communication like the paperwork said, to not Mentioning even the hiccups in building. Also with issues that were addressed that were never fixed and now us having to put in work orders to get them done even when we asked about them before closing. This is why I gave 3 stars. The home is beautiful and the quality of the materials is good. But you need to stay on top of the small details towards the end of the build as they are moving very quickly through all these builds and no one pays attention to the little things like yourself. Also check the furnishings against the what you have selected. Items can be easily missed. Associates are friendly and helpful.

How the great communication in the beginning went to non-communication

The whole experience sucked! It started off very slow. The construction manager started off good but the disappeared and eventually was replaced. The construction crew were so sloppy and dirty leaving trash everywhere and even used the restroom in the house. Very unsanitary! The salesman was great

Took a long time

I would say overall our experience was pleasant however we did have a period of time where we lost our original construction manager and was replaced by another. I believe this process delayed our build substantially but we were never briefed on it. I’m not sure if it was the market or supply chain issues but it took 11 months from foundation pour to close. Our close date was pushed back multiple times and sometimes we didn’t know until 12 hours before closing. It was pretty frustrating.

The buying experience was world class and great! But after the house was sold to us, the GC and the Beazer representative totally dropped off the face of the earth and did not care about customer service after the sale was made. I understand everything cannot be fixed or addressed, but it takes zero effort to just respond or follow at the least.

The home was dirty, sloppy paint job, unfinished drive way, cement blobs all everywhere, no welcome party, and the builder was unprofessional to me.
