Beazer Homes - There were several items, punch out items, that were not completed

  • Jo F.

There were several items, punch out items, that were not completed inside my home before I was forced to the signing table. Beazer home representatives threatened me with a $200 a day fine if I was not at the closing table on the date they specified. I was reluctant to do so but my Beazer contractor assured me that the items would be taken care of after closing. I have paint drips on my front door, the front door handle does not open and close easily and it does not lock properly, one of the French doors into my office does not close, there are areas in my sheet rock where they did not ...

Not a good experience with this being the first home I bought.

Bad experience. I bought a quick move in home. When I looked at this home. It was almost done building framed, sheet rock, roof all of that was already done. This home was put online for a ready move in for the date of mid July. After giving them the earnest money. I thought things will get rolling with them completing the home. I drove to the house everyday. Spent probably 4-6hrs at the home. Surprisingly no one was there even attempting to complete the home. It was sad because driving around the community I was see other home progressing and being complete before the quick move in. Let go ...

The day before putting down earnest money I was promised all these magical things- I would be helped for the first 30 days with any cosmetic issues and I would be helped if there was any warranty problems. I was promised someone would take care of me. My initial review was 5 starts because everyone was so nice and seemed trust worthy. Now is like pulling nails trying to get my requests done. One request that I made less than 30 days of closing, took 5 weeks to be addressed. Don't tell me that you are here for me and can address my issues and then ignore me and avoid me. Unprofessionalism and bad quality of home.

  • Liliana G.

  • February 23, 2021
  • Baytown, TX

This was my first time building a home and it wasn’t the experience I thought it would be. The builder blamed the long building process on the impact of coronavirus. (It was 6+ months when I was told it was a 3-4months process at escrow) I was very patient with the timing because I wanted my house to be done right. Unfortunately at the end the quality of the home was not up to par and the work was not professionally done correctly. The sheet rock meeting and the walk through was pointless because every time I would point something out the builder would make an excuse on why he can’t fix it. ...

Beezer- When it comes to details, they cover in it caulk. Most children can finger paint better than the labor used on our build. Most of the doors are hung wrong and you can see in the rooms with the doors closed. Landscaping and sprinkler system had to be replaced and or corrected by professionals. Paint and texture spray coats most of the trim, doors, and floors. Tile work has the same problems. There were two broken tiles. If the cut was wrong just caulk it. So many mistakes on the exterior paint. The spray foam installers left the fire place covered with cheese cloth to prevent spay ...

My wife and I have done a few of these already and our experience with Beazer Homes hasn't changed. I will never build again and I will never buy a Beazer Home. From the beginning everything was poorly managed and no line of communication was ever established with how our build was progressing.
