It's a house

The house is beautiful but some of the work that was done is unacceptable and rushed. I'm glad there is a good warranty or I would be very dissatisfied.

Beazer stole us from Taylor Morrison thanks to Thuan. Thuan was amazing from the beginning and even now that we have been in our Beazer home for 2 months. Jake on the other hand was not pleasant to work with. From making excuses, lying, no communication like the paperwork said, to not Mentioning even the hiccups in building. Also with issues that were addressed that were never fixed and now us having to put in work orders to get them done even when we asked about them before closing. This is why I gave 3 stars. I recommend family and friends to Beazer but not deal with Jake but to try and get ...

Beazer Homes - The home is beautiful and the quality of the materials is good.

The home is beautiful and the quality of the materials is good. But you need to stay on top of the small details towards the end of the build as they are moving very quickly through all these builds and no one pays attention to the little things like yourself. Also check the furnishings against the what you have selected. Items can be easily missed. Associates are friendly and helpful.
Beazer Homes responded:
Thank you for this review. Your feedback will help Beazer create an outstanding experience for future homeowners. While we hope that every home is perfect upon move in, we know that there may be some thins that require some extra care after closing. We're so glad to hear that you are enjoying your new home and that your Beazer team has been able to assist you along the way. The whole experience sucked! It started off very slow. The construction manager started off good but the disappeared and eventually was replaced. The construction crew were so sloppy and dirty leaving trash everywhere and even used the restroom in the house. Very unsanitary! The salesman was great

I would say overall our experience was pleasant however we did have a period of time where we lost our original construction manager and was replaced by another. I believe this process delayed our build substantially but we were never briefed on it. I’m not sure if it was the market or supply chain issues but it took 11 months from foundation pour to close. Our close date was pushed back multiple times and sometimes we didn’t know until 12 hours before closing. It was pretty frustrating.
Beazer Homes responded:

The buying experience was world class and great! But after the house was sold to us, the GC and the Beazer representative totally dropped off the face of the earth and did not care about customer service after the sale was made. I understand everything cannot be fixed or addressed, but it takes zero effort to just respond or follow at the least.
Beazer Homes responded:

Initially working with Corey, but then moved over to work with Bryan. Corey said a couple of things to get us interested and excited that, simply put, were lies. Only once we had closed and moved in, did one of those things become apparent (It would have been impossible to know earlier). The other thing I asked about, was told it was incorrect by Bryan, and I decided to proceed knowingly. It's frustrating not to be able to take people at face value, so if you're going to buy a home then I suggest you triple check everything, then follow up in and get a response in writing. I did feel rushed ...

We bought our first home with great expectations and an abundance of nervous energy. While the pre closing experience was really impressive, the post closing thus far has been a challenge. Several issues observed under warranty and highlighted have slipped thru the cracks and just getting captured. Overall attention to detail also comes up short in a few places. Craftsmanship can be improved vastly.

The home itself is nice but the finishing touches not so much. In some spots the baseboards are awful, grout in the showers seem to be painted and one out of the three pendent lighting in our kitchen is a wrong shade of color and another cracked. We’ve been in our home for a little over a month and already had a/c problems and one of the toilets doesn’t work properly. We’re a little disappointed because the quality doesn’t compare to the price of the home and location.

Several items not revealed from Beazer during the building process. I only found out because of others building in the neighborhood. They do not provide a list of all standard features for your home design, and then are not forthcoming with what your upgrade options are (e.g. 8' interior doors, bricking on back patio concrete, etc.). Basically they give you a 20 page list of all upgradable fixtures and then you have to figure out what is already upgraded in your model vs. what you can upgrade to; its a basic "highlight" activity put on the buyer. Closing was so disorganized that it ...

The quality of the materials and workmanship have a lot to be desired. Caulking on the base boards was over filled and not cleaned up the way it should have been. The edges of the tile that had been cut in the bathroom did not match the tile because it was red in the middle. It should have been grouted or painted! The doors were not squared up. The paint was thin and cheap. Oh by the way I have 30 years as a contractor. Homes today are slapped together fast and sold even faster!

The care that went into building the home was not up to our expectations. We had to many issues with trash and food being left in the walls of the home when building. Once we moved in, we started to notice that nothing was painted on the underside. Window seals, ledges, counter areas. The caulking in every room must be re done, it is all pulling away and creating gaps. The AC does not cool all the rooms the same. Three room are much warmer that the master bedroom or the living room. The issue with having to have a pool pass, and then having to drive a hour away to go get it one is beyond ...

We purchased the home for fast buy. We completely love the floor plan of the home we are not completely satisfied with the quality. Such as, the dish washer is awful, it is cheap and doesnt clean the dishes. I actually had mold on the dishes from the moisture in the dish washer. The bathroom shower rod is so cheap it fell apart when we tried to use it and we had to replace it. One of the front windows is not sealed correctly, when the weather is windy you can actually hear and feel air blowing in thought the closed window. In the kitchen we disnt received sink stoppers, the glass doors's ...
