The whole experience sucked! It started off very slow. The construction manager started off good but the disappeared and eventually was replaced. The construction crew were so sloppy and dirty leaving trash everywhere and even used the restroom in the house. Very unsanitary! The salesman was great

I would say overall our experience was pleasant however we did have a period of time where we lost our original construction manager and was replaced by another. I believe this process delayed our build substantially but we were never briefed on it. I’m not sure if it was the market or supply chain issues but it took 11 months from foundation pour to close. Our close date was pushed back multiple times and sometimes we didn’t know until 12 hours before closing. It was pretty frustrating.

Beazer Homes responded:

We would like to apologize for the delays during your home construction and have shared your comments with our management team. The buying experience was world class and great! But after the house was sold to us, the GC and the Beazer representative totally dropped off the face of the earth and did not care about customer service after the sale was made. I understand everything cannot be fixed or addressed, but it takes zero effort to just respond or follow at the least.

Beazer Homes responded:
Hi, Susan. We apologize that you have had difficulty getting in touch with us. For the convenience of our homeowners, questions and warranty claims may be submitted through our New Home Contact Center at (888) 623-2937 or nhcc@beazer.com. Initially working with Corey, but then moved over to work with Bryan. Corey said a couple of things to get us interested and excited that, simply put, were lies. Only once we had closed and moved in, did one of those things become apparent (It would have been impossible to know earlier). The other thing I asked about, was told it was incorrect by Bryan, and I decided to proceed knowingly. It's frustrating not to be able to take people at face value, so if you're going to buy a home then I suggest you triple check everything, then follow up in and get a response in writing. We bought our first home with great expectations and an abundance of nervous energy. While the pre closing experience was really impressive, the post closing thus far has been a challenge. Several issues observed under warranty and highlighted have slipped thru the cracks and just getting captured. Overall attention to detail also comes up short in a few places. Craftsmanship can be improved vastly.

If I'm reviewing the homebuying experience and not the house, this is between 1.5-2 stars. First of all, from October through February we were told we'd be closing mid-May, and then all of a sudden in February the closing date gets changed to March. This late notice resulted in us having to spend an extra $3000 on rent because we had to make a decision on extending our lease before the new close date was communicated. And then, as we are a few weeks from closing apparently our Beazer rep left the company. Did anyone from Beazer pick up our account in his place? Of course not. Meaning we never ...

We had a frustrating experience with Beazer Homes during the purchase of our new home. Despite some positive interactions with the construction manager, several issues have left a sour taste. Unresolved Issues 1. Unauthorized changes to contract: A random broker's name was added to our contract without our consent. Moved in and saw some things were missed with the final walk through. Additionally, some things were completed after walk through which left a mess. No one has cleaned it up. My yard is a mucky swamp with green slime destroying the shared fence. Some contractor walked through paint after final walk through and it’s all over my pristine sidewalk and entryway. Since I moved in it’s been one headache after another. After a week and a half of sticking bandaids on things after I moved in the entire hot water heater needed replacing, as well as a breaker and toilet. My lights constantly flicker and my ceiling fan makes noises and wakes me up at night. The service providers Beazer recommends are awful as well. I have not had 1 week of uninterrupted internet service since I moved in. I work from home. The energy savings they were so proud to sell to me have not materialized even a little. I feel like I was taken for a ride.

Do not trust that appliances will work just because they look new. Run each appliance through a complete cycle (especially washer & dryer) or to maximum capacity, as applicable. Damage to unit between closing and taking possession. Beazer makes it nearly impossible to deal with these issues. I didn’t enjoy my home buying experience because the building of my home was not a great experience for me. I feel that the higher management should check more on the building of the homes so that some of these many mistakes can be alleviated. I was given 4 different Construction managers and I don’t think that helped my process. First, the sale person Alej was only nice before contract signed, then he continued "threating" me that if i terminate the contract, I will loose my earnest money! There were a couple of statements made about our lot and the fence in the back that were very important to us and turned out to be untrue. The build took 8 months from start to finish which cost us a lot of money due to rising interest rates. I took too long and there was no relief on the asking price.
