Customer Service/Craftmanship Subpar

I would not recommend this builder. The finished product was not high quality craftsmanship. It’s a business as stated to me from the Construction Manager. Look elsewhere if you plan on purchasing a home for 300k plus.

Beazer Homes responded:

Lack of Communication/Issues with the home/

There were many issues, most were addressed, some were not. When the sod was installed, it was not installed on an "even" grade, back yard hold water. It was full of ruts and dead grass. Brian (construction supervisor) stated that it was, but the lawn crew had mowed it after having the sprinklers on for 2-3 days. They tried to "roll" the grade, but on a dry day, so it did nothing. So, my backyard is still full of ruts, deep enough where my wife tripped. Next was the "paint" issues. I had the carpet pulled up upstairs and on the stairway. Come to find out on the stairway, the painters "did ...

Raccoons in the attic, I has cost me me money out of pocket, to take care of

Frustrating and stressful experience

Our overall experience buying house was so stressful and frustrating. We feel that they have sacrifice the quality of their homes over quantity. They are building lots of houses and they are rushing on finishing them. The agent and construction manager never cared about our concerns. The construction manager doesn't even know what's happening in our house during the building phase. We have to inform and update him that we found errors and issues.

Beazer Homes responded:
This is never how we want any of our homeowners to feel. We'd like the opportunity to speak with you regarding your experience and assist you with your concerns. Please, give us a call at (866) 981-5867, we look forward to your call. Thank you - Sam BeazerHomes

Beazer Homes - Don’t trust what any sales person tells you !

Don’t trust what any sales person tells you !!!!!! Always I mean always make sure you have everything that is being told to you is in writing. It can be the smallest thing. Because at the end since they are not the ones investing the money time and effort into your home they don’t care .. That goes from the sales person , manager and VP!!! Make sure to ask questions about what all is standard and what all is an upgrade because somehow they feel you should know all this as if you work there and it’s your full time job .

Beazer Homes responded:
We are disheartened to hear about your experience, Maria. We've connected with our Houston team and have been made aware that all of the options that were selected in your contract, we're included in your home. However, if there was something that we missed, please reach out to us at nhcc@beazer.com or by phone at (888) 623-2937, as we'd love to assist you. Thank you. - Sam ...

Feels like I bought a lemon.. the entire experience up to not has not been enjoyable nor similar to prior experiences. Keys didn’t work day of closing, garage door didn’t work, more than 5 electrical problems, terrible communication and customer service. Would not recommend this company nor will I buy a Beazer home again.

Not Happy at all

When we purchase home, we were limited to what could be done to fix some of the issue we found prior to the closing, per the builder we either take the way it was or they will find another buyer and after checking with their manager they advise that none of the outstanding issues couldn’t be fixed, now I have this issues on my lap trying to have them fix when they could have done this prior to my closing. NOT HAPPY, I will not recommend no one here.

Beazer Homes responded:

As a whole, my experience with Beazer was subpar. From the very beginning until now there have been nothing but lies and unfulfilled promises. There have been too many incidents to send in a survey but just know that we are not completely satisfied with our first time buying experience.

I bought my townhouse from Beazer Home and moved in this July. Everything was perfect and I told all of my friends that Beazer Home is a perfect builder I recommend if they want to buy a house from Beazer Home. Until after I moved in two months when I got my first month water bill, I am really disappointed that Beazer Home do not take care it. My first month water bill was $596.3. I called MUD and Beazer Home warranty to check if there was any problem on water meter or any water leakage at my home. Finally Beazer Home help me figure out it was caused by the sprinklers setting.
